Holiday Wrap Up

Whew! What a happy holiday! We waiting patiently (and comfortably) for Santa on Christmas Eve...

Daddy, uh, we mean Santa didn't disappoint when we got heart toys from a Chinese food container...

Filled with really good nip...

We also got a brand new scratcher!

It provides the perfect resistance to make the popcorn popping sound!

Our Grandma from Vegas sent toys too...

This one squeaks like a real mouse so it was fun to deaded it...

For Christmas Day we napped played with our toys while Daddy took Mommy to her happy place...

Despite them coming home without the birdie, we had a wonderful Christmas! We hope you did too!

Thankful Thursday

We're super thankful today that Mommy came home yesterday! Isabella not only woke up but was sitting up when Mommy walked in the door! I was so happy to see her I helped her unpack...

She brought me a catnip mouse from the Stockyards in Fort Worth. It made me go crazypants...

Don't worry, I shared with Isabella too...

Another thing we're thankful for is that what happens in Texas, stays in Texas...

Yeah, no comment.

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a purrfect first weekend of fall! Open windows, Isabella slept and I got a new nip toy...

My toy is made by a local artist who makes a new style every year. I've had several of her toys before but they got buried in my toy box and little moths ate holes in them causing the nip to come out. Dang nipped up moths! Anyway, Mommy got me a new one since she knows how much I love these nip toys...

I really, really love them...

It makes me crazypants!

I played with it all weekend while Mommy squee'd at me. I'm so cute she can hardly stand it. *sigh* Isabella even played with the toy for a bit. Actually, she licked it and tried to bite it, or should I say, tried to gum it since she has no teeth! Anyway, we all enjoyed our weekend. We hope you enjoyed your weekend too!

It's Tortie Tuesday! It's a great day because Mommy came home from Texas yesterday and she brought a very potent nip heart just for me...

Well, okay, for us...

But, I know she brought this tissue paper home just for me...

Tortie Tuesday

I may have turned 10 years old 8 days ago but I've been feeling more like a kitten every day. I play a lot more than I have in a very long time. I've even apprised my favorite game much to my mommy's dismay. You see, I like to lay in the hallway downstairs and meow in a squeaky, crying type of meow over and over and over again until she comes looking for me...

No, it has nothing to do with all the boxes behind me. It has everything to do with my favorite catnip jelly bean!

I love my jelly bean! I made it easy for Mommy this time because usually I put it under the closet door and then stick my paws under the door to try to get it back. Oh how she loves this! This time I just laid at the bottom of the stairs and cried meowed until she came down...

Oooo, it always gets me so excited when she wiggles my jelly bean...

Oh my Cod, I can hardly stand the anticipation!

She tosses it up the stairs and it seems to float in the air! I run up to watch where it lands...

Of course I then have to just sit there until she leaves because she can't watch me bat it around and then gum it bite it and carry it back downstairs. That'd spoil all the fun if I was watched! We play this for hours! I can't believe I haven't played this game in so long because it's so much fun! I know she has fun too even if she tries to act otherwise.

According to our Mommy this has been the longest shortest week ever.  Whatever that means.  Anyway, it's Friday so time to get the party started...

But party responsibly so you don't overdo it and create a scene...

Let's Start the Week with Nip!

I admit, I am a nip lover so when The Natural Pet Company asked if we'd like to try out their premium Catnip we couldn't turn down the opportunity!

The bag is filled to the brim with fabulous smelling, great quality catnip!  Let's this test started!

Mommy sprinkled some nip on my Ess and at first I just warmed it up by laying on it...

Then I rolled in it to get the full effect...

I can't stop rolling!

OMC!  This is good stuff!

I feel like my body is still wigglin'...

The Natural Pet Company's premium Catnip gets four paws up from me!   The 4oz bag is a lot of nip that should last a long time since for us, a little goes a long way.  It has a zip lock closure to keep it fresh although I can still smell it through the drawer that Mommy put it in.

Mommy didn't know how the nip would affect me since I tend to get a little cranky (i.e. smacky paws) with my sisfur while under the influence of some nips and especially silvervine so I tested it for the photo shoot alone.  Isabella did meander in and we had a brief exchange of smacky paws but not near as much as usual which made Mommy happy.  Isabella licked the nip and laid in it which is the extent of what she does with nip so that means she liked it to.

You Can Lead a Tortie to a Toy But You Can't Make Her Play!

Mommy went to the pet foods store and they gave her this silly free mouse.  Does she seriously think I'm going to play with it when I know there are foods in the other room?

It does have nip in it so maybe I'll bat it just a little...

Okay, maybe I'll play with it just a bit...

Dang nip!  Gets me every time!  Even Torties have weaknesses!

PeeS:  Yesterday's photo was Angel waiting for her scritches that she expects every single time anybody goes upstairs.  She runs into the human litterbox and expects to be followed so she can have scritches a squizillion times a day.  Nope, she's not spoilt.

Play Day

One of the pawsome things that we got from the Island Cats was this catnip ball called a Pawbreaker. It's fun to whap around on our hammick... I can do this all day... Oops! I whapped it a bit too hard!
That's okay, I've got all day to play!

Nip...'nuff said

Yesterday my sisfur Isabella told you about the Cat Angels that Mommy got from Laura at The Cat in the Clover. Well, included in the package from Laura was a little nip pouch! I made sure to inspect it closely...

Nip always turns me upside down but I continued my inspection by putting the bitey on it...

and more sniffing of it too even while having a Tortie loom over me...

Boy Isabella, this Kentucky nip is good stuff!

It turned her upside down too!

Sadie even checked it out...

This little pouch packs a powerful punch!

Needless to say, the nip passed inspection! Thank you very much Laura!

Stick-y Situation

We had a recent experience with nature! We got our very own stick to play with! Well, I think that's what Mommy thought we'd want to do with it but we weren't so sure but we checked it out anyway.

It does move kinda funny when you whap it.

It breaks when you put the bitey on it too.

It doesn't have any catnip in it though.

What fun is it without Nip Mommy?
