Finally Friday

It's close enough to the weekend so we're going to kick it off with a prize we won recently from the beautiful Truffle and Brulee from Sweet Purrfections. It's a Bavarian Cat Toy Pillow filled with Valerian, Catnip and Spelt (aka the good stuff). As if that wasn't awesome enough, Truffle and Brulee included a couple of treats for us too...

We received the Patchwork Pillow and oh does it smell so awesome...

Let's Start the Week with Nip!

I admit, I am a nip lover so when The Natural Pet Company asked if we'd like to try out their premium Catnip we couldn't turn down the opportunity!

The bag is filled to the brim with fabulous smelling, great quality catnip!  Let's this test started!

Mommy sprinkled some nip on my Ess and at first I just warmed it up by laying on it...

Then I rolled in it to get the full effect...

I can't stop rolling!

OMC!  This is good stuff!

I feel like my body is still wigglin'...

The Natural Pet Company's premium Catnip gets four paws up from me!   The 4oz bag is a lot of nip that should last a long time since for us, a little goes a long way.  It has a zip lock closure to keep it fresh although I can still smell it through the drawer that Mommy put it in.

Mommy didn't know how the nip would affect me since I tend to get a little cranky (i.e. smacky paws) with my sisfur while under the influence of some nips and especially silvervine so I tested it for the photo shoot alone.  Isabella did meander in and we had a brief exchange of smacky paws but not near as much as usual which made Mommy happy.  Isabella licked the nip and laid in it which is the extent of what she does with nip so that means she liked it to.

Thankful Thursday

We're thankful for many things every day but today we're thankful for gifts from our woofie friend, SisseeLou!  SisseLou's momma, Melana, recently made us really pretty mats for under our food bowls and SisseeLou had her include gifts for us!

Who knew a dog would know the purrfect gift of little mice filled with nip!

Mommy took lots of photos but they are all pretty much blurry since it was night time and the mice were so fun to play with I wouldn't hold still...

She also sent crinkly paper that was really fun too.
Hey, did that mousie move?

SisseeLou sent a mousie for Angel too but she was a little leery at first...

but it didn't take her long to whap it...

She got a big whiff of nip too and it made her all crazypants...

Nip Hangover

Hey Bella, that was quite a birthday celebration huh?  I think this was the bestest birthday I've had but for some reason, I don't remember much...

Well you're 6 now Angel so you can't handle the nip like you used to in your kitten days.  You're gonna have to learn moderation...

Okay then I'll practice staying awake in moderation...

Good thing we get wiser and cuter as we get older!

Work, Play and a Giveaway!

We have a very important job to do today. We received some kitty toys from Moderncat and it was our job to test them out and report on our results. It's a tough job but we're up to the task so let's see what all we have here...
We received an assortment of goodies and right away I picked a favorite, the Modkicker...
Isabella grabbed the Modshaker which makes a fun rattle noise that sounds pawsome at 3am!I took my job very seriously and put the Modkicker to the test! I got so worked up I forgot to pose for photos...
These toys are so fun! It sure made me crazypants and from what I see...
Isabella feels the same way... After we recuperated from those toys, we tried out the Bamboleos, Atomic Flyers, Lynks, Felt Rollers, and Junk Food Flyers too. We got a tube of nip to put on the toys and it's some seriously good stuff! We give all the toys four paws up but our favorites are the Modkicker and Modshaker!
Kitties, you might want to start your Christmas list now!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday so I thought I'd show you what Santa Claws brought me for Christmas. I know that Sadie made it seem like she heard Santa and his reindeer on the roof but actually I was the one who heard him and told her after he left the presents. I've seen how she chases kitties out of our yard so I didn't want any reindeer being chased away...

Santa brought me a specially made Kansas City Chiefs nip mouse and oh is it good!

I also got a really comfy bed that I spent a lot of time kneading to make sure the stuffing was just right...

I brought my mouse on my bed and tried to enjoy the evening but my little sisfur was all nipped out on her jalapeno pepper mouse...

Hey Bella, look how my pepper is flying on this string like a kite...

Uh, Daddy, I think Angel might need a nip intervention!

Some kitties just can't handle their nip.

What Santa Brought Me...

We are very fortunate to have plenty of food, treats, toys and a warm, loving home every day of the year so we all decided to cut back on what we asked Santa for this year. Instead of loading us up with lots of stuff, we had Mommy and Daddy give bags of food, treats and toys to local animal shelters (and they almost came back with a *gasp* puppy). But, Santa did bring us all a few presents anyway...

One of my favorite presents I got was a nip mouse! It was so potent, Santa had to put it in a plastic bag so the smell didn't leave a trail of kitties behind his sleigh...

My nip mouse was made just for me and it's a jalapeno pepper mouse!

My sisfur Isabella got a Kansas City Chiefs mouse because she's a Daddy's Girl and that's his favorite team...

I love my jalapeno mouse! It makes me loco!

Muy loco!

Thanks Santa for my nip mouse! I love it way more than any puppy!
