Holiday Wrap Up

Whew! What a happy holiday! We waiting patiently (and comfortably) for Santa on Christmas Eve...

Daddy, uh, we mean Santa didn't disappoint when we got heart toys from a Chinese food container...

Filled with really good nip...

We also got a brand new scratcher!

It provides the perfect resistance to make the popcorn popping sound!

Our Grandma from Vegas sent toys too...

This one squeaks like a real mouse so it was fun to deaded it...

For Christmas Day we napped played with our toys while Daddy took Mommy to her happy place...

Despite them coming home without the birdie, we had a wonderful Christmas! We hope you did too!

Thankful Thursday

Recently we won a giveaway from our friend Phoebe and her family - a package of thirteen toys crocheted by her mom!

So many goodies!

Isabella woke up to see what all we got...

She even played with them too...

I loved bunny kicking the banana...

Anyway, many thanks to Phoebe for all the toys! We enjoy them very much!

Visitors!

We've had an exciting week! Wednesday we met our blog friend Sandee and her husband. They came all the way from California to meet us! Yeah, okay, so they're going to Portland too but we're sure we are an important part of their trip. Mommy wasn't sure Angel would come out since she's such a scaredy cat but she came out right away and stayed out. She kept her distance of course but she did sniff her husband and Sandee held her for a few seconds. I, of course, love attention so got pets, got held, got fussed over, you know, everything I deserve.

Anyway, we got lots of our favorite treats and even some toys. One was a dragonfly on a string which I loved and the other was a toy that Angel loved...

A lot...

Yeah, I know, she's so cute you can hardly stand it right?.
Whatever.

Thanks for the toys and treats Sandee! We enjoyed your visit! Mommy and Daddy enjoyed it too! 

After all that fun on Wednesday, we had more fun yesterday because our Grandpa from Kansas is here for a visit! He gives the bestest scritches ever!

Sneak Attack!

Our friends Leasa and Tuxi sent us a toy that has fevvers and even chirps like a birdie.  I was a little suspicious at first...

Isabella didn't know what to think about it either...

I played it cool in order to keep the element of surprise...

Then I made my move...

It didn't stand a chance!  I deaded it! *proud*

Thankful Thursday

A couple of weeks ago, Sparkle had a giveaway of Yeowww! Catnip Cigars and we were lucky enough to win!

We have never had any nip stuff from Yeowww! before but whoa do the cigars smell good...

We each got one and my little sisfur went bonkers...

In case you can't tell, this is her floofy tummy which was about all Mommy could get a picture of since she turned into a wiggly worm...

I savored my cigar and licked it clear across the room...

Thanks so much to Sparkle and to the Yeowww! folks for the pawesome cigars!  We love them!  Have you tried the nip cigars or any other Yeowww! product?

What To Do...

Decisions, decisions...

Play Time

We were asked to test out some new toys and since we love toys, we of course said yes!  The two we got to test were a clown and a pink elephant...

Anyway, let's get down to business.  Toy testing is very serious work...

Angel held the poor clown upside down...

Until a birdie suddenly flew across the big screen...

Uh, Mommy, I'm still over here...

Okay, where was I? Oh yes...I'm gonna get you with my mighty Tortie feets Mr. Clown!

Toy testing is hard work but somekitty's got to do it...

Our test showed that for us, we like the elephant the best because of all the feets, tail and nose to grab on to.  We can bunny kick both of them though and Mommy is happy that they don't fit under the sofa or closet door.  If you'd like some pawesome kitty toys stuffed with potent nip, check out Pacific Cat Toys for these toys or lots of other selections!

Wordless Wednesday

The Mighty Mousie Hunter

I love mousies and play with them all the time but mostly at night so I can bring it's deaded little toy body right where Mommy steps in the morning! I thought I'd show you my mousie hunting technique. First I sneak up on it and whack it when it's not expecting it!
Then I dig my claws into it but yet don't show my cute face so it still has no idea what's happening. See it trying to get away... This takes great skill since not only can the mousie not see me, I can't see it either! I then slowly start to pull the mousie over the edge...
Now it's time to deaded it so if you're squimish you might want to look away...
That was so much fun! Sorry some of the photos are blurry but I get a little carried away when it comes to mousies!
