Tortie Tuesday

You know I'm a Tortie supermodel when I can pose for a beautiful photo...
While the Jays are squawking and causing a commotion outside...
My little sisfur doesn't have such restraint but she's not a Tortie or a purrfessional supermodel like me!

The birds, especially the Jays, have been super noisy around here lately. Are they noisy in your neck of the woods too?

Have a beautiful Tortie Tuesday!

Am I Distracting?

As you know, our Mommy telecommutes to Colorado from her office right here at home so she can spend time with us we can help her do all her CPA stuffs. For some reason though she says I distract her with my cuteness...
I don't think I'm distracting, she just has a short attention span. Oh hey, there's birdies!
Yeah, okay, I get her point. Guess that's why we make such a great tax team!

It's a tough job being cute but somekitty's got to do it!

Hope you have a great Friday and a Happy weekend!

Sneak Attack!

Our friends Leasa and Tuxi sent us a toy that has fevvers and even chirps like a birdie.  I was a little suspicious at first...
Isabella didn't know what to think about it either...
I played it cool in order to keep the element of surprise...
Then I made my move...
It didn't stand a chance!  I deaded it! *proud*

Thank you for the birdie toy Leasa and Tuxi!  We love it!

Hope you enjoy your day!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend!  Isabella thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!  Mommy and Daddy went to the coast on Sadieday and Isabella asked them to bring home a birdie for her birthday but all she got was a picture of one...
Don't worry, since Daddy spoils her rotten he made sure the reception was perfect for her to enjoy plenty of birthday birdies on the Birdie Network...
Look at all the birdies!  We've never seen the big guy on the left before ever...
Told ya she was spoilt.  Thankfully she let me watch too...
Now if only we had sunpuddles.  If Daddy could get some for Isabella he would.  Yep, she's spoilt.  I'm not.  Just sayin.

How was your weekend?

Hope your day is filled with whatever you love!

Ho Hum Hot Kinda Day

We're having a case of the hots here with temperatures near 90 degrees so the windows are closed which mutes the volume of our Birdie Network so I'm having to watch it on video...
It's never too hot for napping in sunpuddles either...
My sisfur Isabella had to go to the v-e-t yesterday because she has a front tooth loose and her gums are red.  The v-e-t said the tooth will fall out on its own like several others have since her last dental visit in February (Mommy didn't know this).  She also said her red gums are from gingivitis and isn't bad enough to warrant a cleaning yet or any meds.  Anyway, since it was so hot out and she got nervous in the car so she wasn't feeling too well last night...
She's feeling better after chillin' for a bit though.

The v-e-t still can't believe that Isabella is a real Tortie since she is so mellow and easy going.  She said Torties are supposed to be high maintenance with a devilish streak in them but we don't know any Torties like that - do you?

Hope you have a chillin' kind of day!

Not So Wordless Wednesday

Those birdies weren't there when I started my nap...
How'd I sleep through that?

Happy Sadieday!

We're glad it's Sadieday!   Our Daddy was gone again this week working at the coast so we were home alone with Mommy and sometimes just home alone when she went over to see Daddy.  We thought she might bring us home a birdie...

Or some crab...

The sign says the crab is on the Chelsea Rose so what'd she do instead of going to get us some crab?  She took a picture of the Chelsea Rose...
Close but no cigar Mommy.  Anyway, she also spotted a woofie...

She didn't bring home one of those either but that's okay.  We're not ready for another woofie sisfur since we already had the bestest sisfur ever...

We hope you enjoy your Sadieday and as always, be sure to smile today and every day!  You never know how many people will have a better day after seeing your beautiful smile!

Hope you have a Happy Sadieday and a great weekend!

A Tad Obsessed

Last week Mommy showed me a birdie video and although for some reason she wishes she didn't, I'm so glad she did!  I love to watch birdie videos all day long!
Hey Birdie, you lookin' at me?
Yeah, you better not be lookin' at me!
Sometimes my sisfur watches the birdies with me...
But usually I watch them alone...
For some reason, buttons on the keyboard tend to get pushed and things gets messed up but Daddy came to the rescue and fixed it for me while mumbling happily...
Thank you Mommy for showing me the videos!  Can you tell how happy I am?
If you wanna watch me and see my cuteness watching videos, you can do so here...

And here's one of me and my sisfur who exhibits extreme concentration while watching the birdies - be sure to notice my cute face too!
Do you like birdie videos too?

Hope you have a purrfect day!

Diet? What Diet?

Mommy and Daddy went to the coast yesterday and left us all alone so we had to take things in our own paws.  To make sure we didn't starve, we ordered pizza!
I didn't even totally ruin my diet since I at least made sure it was smooshed thin crust...
You'd think that Mommy would at least have brought home dessert...
But nope, she didn't.

Hope you get dessert today!

This and That on Thursday

We've had a busy week getting spoilt giving attention to our Grandma but to get a chance to nap to be nice, we let Mommy and Daddy take her to the coast. We thought we'd show you some of what they saw over there. Of course, they saw birdies... Don't you think this birdie wanted to come home to us? There's always lots of sea lions on the Bayfront and when Mommy saw them in this cage she thought the worst...
But the cage is a way they can contain a sea lion if it ever needs help so it's a good thing, not a bad thing. Phew! In addition to sleeping in the cage, there were lots of sea lions out barking at this silly man in a row boat... Also on the Bayfront was a TUNA boat! Can you believe she didn't bring us ANY tuna?
This little husky was in the back truck parked on the street and of course Mommy couldn't resist petting it and wanted to bring him/her home...
Thankfully she didn't! She saw the dad come out to the truck and it was obvious that woofie has a very good home. We think next time she goes to the coast we need to go too in order to get our own birdies and tuna and keep her away from woofies. We could travel in our very own Simba RV! If our furiend Simba was inside, that would be purrfect!

Anyway, we hope you enjoyed a little of this and that today.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Scenes of the Season from the Oregon Coast

As the holidays wind down, we thought we'd show you some of the seasonal scenes from here in Oregon. The weekend before Christmas Mommy and Daddy went to the Victorian Christmas tour at the Heceta Head Lighthouse . This is the view of the Lighthouse Keepers house (now a B&B) from the parking lot when they arrived at 4pm.
While there was still light, they took a half mile trail to the lighthouse with views like this.
They got to Heceta Head Lighthouse and only got this one photo before going up inside it and coming back out to total darkness.
The Lighthouse Keepers house was all lit up though and Santa was on the porch. There's two kitties that live at the Keepers house but Mommy didn't see them that night.
When we found out all these birdies were flying around when they got there, we wondered if the Keepers house needed two more kitties!
Anyway, we hope you enjoyed seeing some of scenes from our part of the world! Enjoy your Sunday!

Uh, how long you been there Mommy?
Hope you have a birdie-ful Monday!

Birdies!

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy went to an open house at Chintimini Wildlife Rehab Center to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this wonderful organization. Chintimini provides the treatment and care necessary to return injured, orphaned, or sick wildlife to their natural habitat. Some animals cannot be returned to the wild due to the nature of their injuries though. If we had known what they were going to see before they went, we would have gone with them! They saw really big birdies such as Morgan the Sparred Owl.
And Azjnii the Great-horned owl. Azjnii is at Chintimini because he has cataracts so can't hunt on his own.
They also saw this Red Tail Hawk
and this one.
Isn't this little owl cute? He was such a tiny thing we don't know why Mommy couldn't bring him home to play with us!
This isn't a birdie but he is certainly a big boy! He had to stay in the car but it was a cool day and the windows were down. If not, we're sure Mommy would have done something since she hates to see doggies left in a car with the windows up.
Since Mommy and Daddy visited these birdies last weekend, I'm going to watch to see if they come visit us in return.
We hope you enjoyed seeing the birdies as much as we did!
Have a great Purrsday!
