Sneak Attack!

Our friends Leasa and Tuxi sent us a toy that has fevvers and even chirps like a birdie.  I was a little suspicious at first...

Isabella didn't know what to think about it either...

I played it cool in order to keep the element of surprise...

Then I made my move...

It didn't stand a chance!  I deaded it! *proud*

Re-run, Sort Of

Since we had a busy weekend celebrating Mommy and Daddy's anniversary, then helping with beady goodies and other important cat stuff, we ran out of time to do a post for today.  Because of that we're going to show you our guest post that was on Pricilla's publicist's blog last month.  If you saw it there, it's a re-run, but either way, we hope you enjoy it!

As you all know, Harry the Farm Cat is a mighty hunter but we wanted everyone to know that us House Cats are mighty hunters too!

Well, okay, some more than others are...

Isabella may not have that killer instinct but I sure do.  I am really good at stalking mousies...

What are you doing Bella?  No, I don't have mouse breath yet!  Give me a chance to deaded it first! 

Now where was I?  Oh yeah, after I stalk the mousie,  I pounce when it leasts expect it...

Yeah, that's right Mr. Mousie!  You run and hide from me - Angel the Mighty Hunter!

Unlike the mousies on the farm, this one lives to be deaded another day...

Unless I decide to put the ole furry karate chop on it!

Never underestimate the hunting abilities of us House Cats!

Now What?

After all the excitement with the wasp the other day, I can't find anything to do.  I'm so bored...

Sure wish I could find something else to hunt since I am a mighty insect hunter...

Who knew dust bunnies can hang from the ceiling!  I think Mommy needs to clean but I'll just take a nap...

My yawn made Mommy yawn - did you yawn too?

Mighty Crinkly Paper Hunter

Mommy's office is filled with crinkly paper that needs to be tamed because it keeps us busy!  I burrow in it and wait for any signs of movement...

It's never fast enough for my mighty hunting skills...

I feel like I'm being watched...

Hey there Isabella...I'm ripping this crinkly paper to shreds so you just shoo away...

Now where was I?  Oh yeah, watch out crinkly paper, I'm the mighty hunter!

I don't know why Mommy complains about working in her office so much, it's lots of fun!

Mighty Hunter

Even though I'm an indoor kitty that doesn't mean I'm not a hunter.  Every night I deaded my toy mousies and take them to Mommy for her to find in the morning.  Occasionally I have to deaded some live prey too like a vishus fly.  I first sneak up on it...

Then I corral it before it has a chance to make a getaway...

When it's time to deaded it I take it behind the couch to avoid everybuddy seeing the gruesome end...

Hey hold on there vishus fly, where do you think you're going? 

Well you little stinker!  What'd you go under there for?

Uh, that was just a demonstration so that vishus fly was lucky this time!  I really am a Mighty Hunter!

The Art of Stalking...

I may be an indoor-only kitty but that doesn't mean I'm not a fierce hunter! There are times when I'm just sitting around being cute... But in a split second I can be on high alert for Birdies...
I can move like a stealth and sneak up on it...
Be very, very quiet...I'm stalking birdies... Oh those birdies are clueless as to how lucky they are that I'm in here while they are out there!
