It's Halloween!

Halloween is finally here no matter how much we didn't want it to come.  I don't like the doorbell one bit so to have it ring over and over again for a few hours is not my idea of fun.  Isabella couldn't care less.  She sleeps through anything!  Anyway, to prepare for tonight I was grazing on nip sprinkled on my Ess when Mommy called me to come see her pumpkin...
OMC Mommy!  You interrupted my nip fest for that...that...pumpkin wannabe?
She showed it to Isabella too.
Are you sure that's a pumpkin or is it an upside down lollipop?
Uh oh, looks like Angel's had too much nip again...
HELP!  Get me outta here!  This pumpkin is stalking me!
Whether your nipped out or not, we hope you have a Happy Halloween!
Angel and Isabella

PeeS:  Yesterday's post was of Isabella yawning.  She never makes a scary face or gets mad, ever, but she does yawn.  A lot.

Tortie Tuesday

I love Tortie Tuesdays because it's a day all about me but I have to admit, I also love Sundays too because it's me and Daddy day.  Oh, okay, technically every day is me and Daddy day but on Sundays we watch football in the Mancave and Daddy lets me lay on a soft, comfy Chiefs blanket on his lap...
And he also rubs my Tortie tummy...
I just love my Daddy!

Do you like to lay on your humans and have your tummy rubbed?

Hope your Tortie Tuesday is all about you!

Meatloaf Monday

The weekend got away from all of us so we were scrambling to figure out what to post for today.  While we were trying to decide, Mommy thought we had already picked a topic when she came in and saw me like this...
Then she turned around and saw my sisfur like this...
What silly human started calling this position the "meatloaf kitty"?   Wanna know what Angel this of this?
I think the same thing but it takes too much effort to turn around.

Hope your day is effortlessly wonderful!

Thoughts on Sadieday

Happy Sadieday!  I was just sitting here admiring the lovely fall colors and realized that fall is mainly Tortie colored...
Clearly Mother Nature loves Torties!
Who can blame her?

Coming up this week is Halloween.  We don't like that day because my little sisfur hates the doorbell.  We don't get dressed up thank Cod but our sisfur Sadie used to.  One of her costumes that was our daddy's favorite was this one.  Can you guess what she is?
She's KC Wolf!  The Kansas City Chiefs mascot!
Sadie used to watch the games with Daddy and when the Chiefs scored a touchdown Daddy would put his hands in the air signaling touchdown and she'd howl!  The Chiefs are currently the only undefeated team in the NFL which means there's been a lot of touchdowns so we know she's howling over the Rainbow Bridge!

We hope you have something to howl about this Sadieday!  Remember to find things to smile about too and spread those smiles around.  You never know who's day you'll brighten with your smile!

We hope you have a Happy Sadieday and a great weekend!

Finally Friday!

It's finally Friday and Mommy is feeling better so that means time for craftiness!  A month ago we asked Edi from Memories for Life Scrapbooks to make a pendant of our sisfur Sadie so I thought it was high time Mommy made a necklace featuring the pendant.  I got all her the beads together for her get started...
Then I helped her lay out a design idea...
Then it was break time. This is me putting my paw up to get on her shoulder for some scritches.  Of course she complied...
Once I got my fill of scritches I let her finish...
And this is our completed necklace...
We used Tigers eye beads and Golden Shadow Swarovski crystals since they are Sadie's colors.  Mommy made it a little longer too since that's what she prefers...
I think it turned out very purrty!  Our sisfur Sadie would be very pleased.  Edi has the pendants on chains in her shop here.  But she and Mommy are offering a deal to our readers only.  If you would like a beaded necklace made by us to go with the wooden pendant made by Edi, we'll make it for you for $30 - that includes the pendant by Edi and the blinged out necklace by us!  How's that for a deal?  If you're interested or would like more information please contact us and we'll let you know how to get a cool custom pendant necklace for yourself!

UPDATE:  We got the necklace listed in our shop here!

Phew!  I sure worked hard today.  Time for some treats Mommy!
Hope you have a picture purrfect Friday!

Open, Open, Open

We love, love, love open windows!  Since we're not allowed to go outside, open windows are the only way we get to turn up the volume on the Birdie Network and also get the scents of the outdoors.  Our weather has been beyond gorgeous her so the other day I was enjoying the sights and sounds thru the window...
When Mommy appeared on the wrong side of the screen...
Since she was out there, I told her to grab one of those birdies branches from up in the tree...
She always does what I say so we got a stick but she forgot to take photos of it.  I know, what good is she.  Well, she did get a video of Isabella playing with it, however, I stole the show.  If you have a couple of minutes you can check it out here...
Yeah, I know, I'm cute!

If you don't get outside either, do you like to have a part of outside like sticks or leaves brought inside?

Hope you have a glorious day!

Tortie Tuesday

Yay it's Tortie Tuesday the bestest day of the week!  I was just sitting here minding my own business when Mommy walked in and started giggling.  Then she took a quick photo with her phone - Cod how I wish those weren't invented.  Anyway, she continued to giggle but I don't know why.  I'm stumped...
I'm going out on a limb here but I think all her flu meds have finally pushed her over the edge.  It sure wasn't a long way to go.

Hope you have a Happy Tortie Tuesday in your head neck of the woods!

Surprise Package

We received a small package from Chewy.com last week and since we didn't have an order in, Mommy thought it was something for us to review so put it aside until she could get us together for a photo shoot with the product.   Yesterday she finally got her booty in gear and checked out the package.  She realized it didn't feel like product so she opened it up then was so surprised she sat there with a stunned look on her face and then her eyes got leaky.  She was speechless so she put it down and I checked it out myself...
Sorry that photo is a little blurry but Mommy freaked when I stepped on it and shooed me off!  We didn't know that Chewy.com has an artist named Lisa working there but she saw a photo of me in a previous review and painted this lovely portrait of me...
She got my ears and eyes right...
And, oh yeah, my tongue...
She also painted a portrait of my sisfur Isabella...
She got her ears and eyes right too...
The back of each painting has this note on it...
We certainly love it #TeamChewy!  Our photos don't do the paintings justice since Mommy was so discombobulated and too stunned to take very good photos.  We are so grateful for Lisa at Chewy.com for such a thoughtful, precious gift!  We don't know how to thank you enough!  Mommy will cherish them always!

Have you ever received a gift that totally surprised you?

Hope you have a wonderful Monday!

Happy Sadieday!

'Tis the season for falling leaves.  We love watching the leaves and waiting for the naked branches so we can watch the birdies better.  This Sadieday we're remembering how much our sisfur Sadie loved the leaves too.  She'd even watch them fall with us...
She loved to walk in them too...
But she loved to play in them the most...
*
We hope you're enjoying the falling leaves in your neck of the woods!  Remember to take time to notice how beautiful Mother Nature is and also remember to smile because you may make someone's day with that smile!

Have a Happy Sadieday and a great weekend!

Status Report

As you know, our Mommy has been sick and let me tell you, she's a horrible patient! On Tuesday she thought she was well enough to leave the house for a bit. The dose of fresh air, blue sky and pretty nature colors messed with her head so she thought she was well enough to go to the gym (not smart) and then to Zumba (really not smart). Well, she nearly passed out at Zumba and almost got sick in the parking lot.  Her friend and our Daddy got her home again but not before any progress was setback. We did let her go out on the deck yesterday for a dose of fresh air, blue sky and pretty nature colors and her Kleenex box...
But I kept a close eye on her...
When I thought she had enough I told her to come inside...
NOW!
I even woke Isabella up with that demand!
Mommy finally came back inside and went to bed again. The weekend is going to be nice and she's wanting to go on a photoshoot of the fall colors since the leaves won't wait until she's 100% better so she needs to be a purrfect patient today and tomorrow or else that won't happen. Depending on how it goes, we may or may not be able to post for awhile. Thanks for being patient while we deal with our patient!

We hope you're able to enjoy your day!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday but there's not a whole lot going on around here.  Although I nap 22 hours a day, I prefer to not have Mommy sick in bed coughing and nose blowing messing up my routine.  She took this photo while facing the other direction with her backwards camera thingy on her phone so it's as wonky as she is...
Since I'm up more than usual, I went through some of their vacation photos and found proof that my daddy did his best not to cheat on me with the B&B kitty even though Shakespeare tempted him by rubbing against his legs...
Even when Shakespeare jumped up on Daddy's lap because he was ignoring him, he tried his best not to cheat...
Unfortunately Daddy caved and gave him scritches...
At least he came home to me since I'm Daddy's Girl!  Now if only Mommy would get better and get out of my bed everything would be purrfect. *sigh*

Hope you have a purrfect Tortie Tuesday!

What a Difference a Week Makes...

Just last Monday Mommy and Daddy came back home from their Hawaiian vacation and now Mommy is in bed sick.  We're making sure she gets better soon by having everything she needs close by.  Boy, you sure picked a lousy day to get sick Mommy cause it's purrty outside!  Too bad you're stuck in here!
She didn't appreciate my commentary for some reason so it's a good thing Isabella is on duty keeping her in bed...
Hopefully she'll be better soon so we can get back to our regular posting.

Hope you're having a great day!
