Beady Helper

One of our BeadedTail customers purchased some beads online that she had sent directly to us to make earrings. That's a lot of pressure since she hasn't even seen the beads in person yet but thank Cod I was on the bead mat and ready to help...

We sent ideas to the customer for her and then we made these...

And these...

The customer was happy with how they turned out. We are too. Mommy couldn't have done it without me... 

It's a tough job being beady but somekitty's got to do it!

Finally Friday!

It's finally Friday and Mommy is feeling better so that means time for craftiness!  A month ago we asked Edi from Memories for Life Scrapbooks to make a pendant of our sisfur Sadie so I thought it was high time Mommy made a necklace featuring the pendant.  I got all her the beads together for her get started...

Then I helped her lay out a design idea...

Then it was break time. This is me putting my paw up to get on her shoulder for some scritches.  Of course she complied...

Once I got my fill of scritches I let her finish...

And this is our completed necklace...

We used Tigers eye beads and Golden Shadow Swarovski crystals since they are Sadie's colors.  Mommy made it a little longer too since that's what she prefers...

I think it turned out very purrty!  Our sisfur Sadie would be very pleased.  Edi has the pendants on chains in her shop here.  But she and Mommy are offering a deal to our readers only.  If you would like a beaded necklace made by us to go with the wooden pendant made by Edi, we'll make it for you for $30 - that includes the pendant by Edi and the blinged out necklace by us!  How's that for a deal?  If you're interested or would like more information please contact us and we'll let you know how to get a cool custom pendant necklace for yourself!

Snoopervising a Special Project

This weekend we had a very important job of snoopervising Mommy as she made a No-No bracelet for a special blog furiend who is also the mum of a handsome Mancat from the U.K.! I took my pawsition and watched her carefully...

Isabella even helped snoopervise since the bracelet is a version of Mommy's Tortie bracelet with the addition of purple in it...

She sure sunk her teeth into the job too...

There were a lot of little bitty beads to keep track of...

And kitties, I found out would imagine that if you walk across those little bitty beads, they stick to your feets just like kitty litter so you'd have to shake your feets to get them off. Not that I know for sure or anything. Anyway, all our hard work paid off and we helped Mommy make a lovely No-No bracelet that is headed across the pond today...

Sadie approved of it too...

Kitty Creations

Yesterday I told you how Mommy didn't appreciate my help finishing up her custom order. Well, I persisted and helped her complete the project anyway! I thought I'd show you the bracelets that I had a part in making...

Since my legs are too small, my big sisfur Sadie modeled them...

With these bracelets, Mommy was just told to make them however she wanted in any color but ruby. Well, as most of you know, Mommy is a CPA (Cat's Purrsonal Assistant moonlighting as a Certified Public Accountant) and if you know any accountants, creativity doesn't come easy for them so the thought of making something without any direction made Mommy panic which is why she needed my help. As always, it worked out in the end and we are both happy with how they turned out...

And I'm thinking I need to help her make some for me to play with...

Behind every good human is a helpful, creative, smart kitty and possibly one large dog model too!
