So Now You Need Our Help Huh?

Mommy made a No-No bracelet this week which we're not allowed to help with for some reason. When we get around all those little beads she says No-No a lot. Anyway, when she finished the bracelet and needed to take photos for the recipient, guess who she came looking for. Yep, that's right! Us! Well, we told her No-No...
Nope, no cooperation from us at all...
She ended up taking pictures of it without us...
Not quite as cute is it? That'll teach her to not let us help even if there are 1,420 beads in that one bracelet. She wouldn't miss one or ten if we helped. Nope, not at all.

Don't you think we should be able to help with the whole beady process?

Hope there aren't any No-No's in your day!

Still A No-No Bracelet

As we told you last week, we got a request for a No-No bracelet and usually we only watch Mommy make those from afar, however, the request was from a kitty mom who wanted us to help AND have it documented.  We don't think this is what she meant...
As soon as I wanted to crawl on Mommy's lap to help, she put the tray on the table and said No-No.  I guess there's just something she doesn't trust about herself with all those itty bitty beads, string and needle...
This particular bracelet has 1,246 beads in it and took her about six hours to do.  Bet it'd go a lot faster if we helped! Anyway, she eventually finished and THEN she wanted help with modeling it.  Know what I said?  No-No!  She tried to get Isabella to model it but only after she informed her she could not give the bracelet the patented Tortie Taste Test.  Of course she got Tortitude...
Pffffft!
Uh, that's not scoring you any points Mommy...
So, since we didn't cooperate, here's a boring photo of only the bracelet with no kitty models in it.  Ho hum...
The bracelet is on its way to the kitty mom and we hope she loves it (even if we didn't get to help make it)!

Are there any No-No's in your house?

Hope you have a wonderful day!

No No-No Bracelet?

We got a request for a custom No-No bracelet and for some reason those are usually made while we're napping or watching Birdie TV...
There's something about combining cats and a tray full of itty bitty beads that makes Mommy utter the words No-No.  A lot...
Wait, what was that you said Mommy?  This request came with the stipulation that WE have to help make the bracelet?  Did I hear that correctly?
Yep, it's true.  This particular bracelet is for a kitty mom who wants us to help make it and she wants it documented.  (That means we HAVE to help!) Of course that makes Mommy nervous but she'll honor the request by letting Isabella inspect the progress so far...
She didn't allow the Tortie taste test but no doubt that'll come later.   We're so excited to be able to finally help with a No-No bracelet!  Mommy will find out that this will be the funnest bracelet she's made EVER!

We hope you do something out of the ordinary today!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday, the bestest day of the week!  It's my day so I'm going to nap, snack and nap again since I've been so busy around here.  I've had to hold Daddy down so he could get well enough to go back to work today...
I've also had to help Mommy by inspecting the no-no bracelet she's making for somebody special...
I know you're thinking that's an awful lot of work for one Tortie and I would have to agree!  I've certainly earned my day of rest!

Hope you have a restful day!

Weekend Wrap Up

What a busy weekend!  I had to help Mommy work on tax returns...
Mommy also painted the guest litterbox ceiling but I'm not allowed to go near her when she's doing that (for some reason) so I held down the couch...
Isabella snoopervised her making a no-no bracelet...
She then inspected her progress too...
And then she reminded her why they are called no-no bracelets!
These working weekends are exhausting!  What's a kitty to do to get some time off around here?

Did you have a relaxing weekend?

Happy St. Patrick'sDay!

This and That on Sadieday

Happy Sadieday!  We had a busy week and now the rains have returned to the Pacific Northwest taking away our warm sunpuddles.  Guess that means we'll have to spend the weekend napping under the covers!  Anyway, remember our special project we were working on in our sisfur Sadie's colors that we're going to raffle off for a local charity?
Well, we're still getting the details ironed out with the charity since it'll be done on their website but we have completed the bracelet.  What do ya think?
That particular bracelet is Mommy's since it's the first one so is very special but we'll make one similar to it for the raffle.  She gets lots of compliments on it every time she wears it but of course that doesn't surprise us since it's made with Sadie's pretty colors!  If you'd like one without waiting on the raffle or for her to list one in her shop, just email us and we'll get one made!

This week was a sad one in that Marg's sweet dog Jasmine had to go to the Bridge.  We know Sadie welcomed her with open paws though and they are probably both strolling all over the place together!   It's heart breaking when our friends and loved ones go off to the Bridge but there's always somebuddy to help us smile again and we found some smile worthy friends this week like adorable little Duke...
And how about Thunder, Lightning and Ciara caught in the act of being cute by their mom...
Our mommy thinks Khyra is asking for a smooch on her snooter in this photo...
Take a look around your neck of the woods and find reasons to smile this Sadieday and every day!  You never know when you're the reason for somebuddy else's smile too!

We hope you have a Happy Sadieday and a great weekend!

Inspiration

This month's Blogging Business Artisans team challenge by Erika from ArtfulRising is all about Back to School.  Well, since it's been so long since Mommy has been in school she had no idea what to do for this challenge idea.  I knew she was struggling so I offered to help...
Do you want to know my idea Mommy?
I asked her to remember way, way back when she used to go to school and what did she remember most about back to school time.  She remembered that her birthday was always after the start of the school year.  Well then, knowing that, here's the inspiration I came up for her...
And she made a chocolate cake with sprinkles No-No bracelet...
Hey Bella, this doesn't smell like cake!
It's more like a chocolate snake...
Of course we didn't have chocolate cake for Mommy's birthday since we can only have vanilla but I think I had a pretty darn good idea.  Here's a look at the final bracelet...
We've made the chocolate cake with sprinkles bracelet available in Mommy's shop here.  I'm sure glad I could help her find the inspiration for it!

What do you think of most at Back to School time?

Enjoy your day!

Special Sadieday Project

We've been working on a special project around here and although it's not quite ready I thought I'd give you a sneak peek...
All of us have a part in this project.  Daddy thought of it, Mommy is making it and my sisfur Angel and I are snoopervising it...
Of course I'm helping hold things down too since that's what I'm bestest at...
The project is a Sadie bracelet!
It's made in Sadie's colors and somehow we're going to raffle it off with the proceeds going to charity.  Mommy's going to keep this first one since it's been pretty hard for her to work on but we'll make one especially for the raffle and we'll also offer one in Mommy's shop.  They'll look very similar to this...
It'll be Tortie teefs tested too! (I think this is why it's called a No-No bracelet)...
We'll show it again when it's all finished and we know how to raffle it off.  Of course we can't model a No-No bracelet as good as our sisfur Sadie did though...
We hope you have a wonderful Sadieday!  Be sure to explore your neck of the woods today!

Working Weekend

This weekend we decided to help Mommy make a No-No bracelet. She was so excited for our help, and probably distracted by our cuteness, that she had to keep reminding herself what she was making by yelling the name out. We'll show you what we mean but first, we helped her pick the colors to use! Right after that she showed her first excitement and yelled NO-NO! After an hour she had the base of the bracelet made so she laid out the other colors that'll be used to finish it off... She couldn't contain herself because she again yelled NO-NO! Once she has some of it started she always checks the colors to make sure she likes them...We think it's pretty Mommy... She was excited so guess what she yelled - NO-NO! NO-NO! NO-NO! NO-NO! She couldn't handle the excitement of our help anymore so guess who got to model it...
We think that's a NO-NO since we were the ones who helped her make it. Oh well, here's the finished No-No bracelet that we made:
This bracelet is available in Mommy's shop here, or if you'd like us to make you a No-No bracelet in another color combination, just email us!

We hope you have a great day!

Collaboration of Sorts

We found our Thursday's post in draft mode on Blogger so we are going to try to post it again in case the original with the previous comments doesn't come back so here it is...

We all had a part in making a special Mother's Day gift for our Grandma in Las Vegas. We decided to make her a No-No bracelet and I insisted it was Tortieish...
Angel insisted on the colors being blue like her big blue eyes...
This is the result of our collaboration...
And here's the Blue Tortilicious No-No Bracelet...
And if you're wondering what Sadie had to do with the bracelet, well, she thought she had to model it... Then of course she expected ear scritches for her "hard" work...
Okay, I admit we got ear scritches too! Our grandma loved her No-No bracelet! We're her favorite Grandfurbabies ever!

Hope you have a great day!
