Candid Camera

Several people have asked if Mommy has a camera with her at all times because of all the pictures she takes. Well, the answer is yes - pretty much. But, not only does she take pictures of us, she also gets pictures of other unsuspecting people or strange places. Here's a few of her candid shots and we think you can biggify them to take a better look.

This guy was walking in Eugene, OR. Can you tell he has a white cat wrapped around his neck?
Mommy saw this place when she went to Las Vegas. It says Showgirl Supplies across the top but see what's written on the left hand side window - Tax Return Preparation! That's a combination Mommy hasn't tried yet!
She noticed the bumper sticker on this pickup while traveling down I-5 at 65 mph (or close to).
Here's a better look. Note: Daddy was driving when Mommy took these pictures.
This car was in the parking lot of a local grocery store. Guess you have to hope if a friend sees your vehicle they don't have a stack of Post-It notes with them!
And finally, this was a woman (not a plumber) in the Los Angeles airport. Daddy didn't want her to take a picture since the gate was packed with people but of course she thinks "have camera, will click!"

Hope you enjoyed these candid camera shots!

Stroll With Sadie!

It's my favorite day of the week - Sadieday! It's time for a stroll with me! Mommy's been taking me on walks just around the neighborhood at night but today we are going on the trails so I can't wait! She's holding me back with this leash but it's only a matter of time before I... am free! I love the feel of the wind in my fur!
And the dirt between my toesies!
And the smells of all the pee-mail!
And most of all, being on a hike with my Mommy! Hope you enjoyed going on a stroll with me today! Enjoy your Sadieday!

PeeEss: Mommy says thank you for all the birthday wishes yesterday!

Thankful Thursday - Paw It Forward!

As we've mentioned, we had a pawsome weekend thanks to receiving a Paw It Forward box from our furriends, the handsome Samson and the beautiful Delilah from The Monkeys! Our Canadian furriends sent a box full of toys and treats for all of us. The smells coming from the box were heavenly!
You two are taking too long, let's see what we have in here...
Holy cat! Look at all these goodies! We got treats and mousies and Delilah sent me Tortie approved soccer balls! Samson got Angel ladybugs from Casbah Kitten with his allowance - he's such a sweet Mancat.
Hey Angel, you like the Plague Rats huh?
This Plague Rat is filled with really good nip Isabella! Uhm, how come I see two of you now?
Even Sadie got some loot! She got bones and treats and a furry special Canadian beaver stuffed toy!
Thank you furry much Samson and Delilah! We love all our toys and treats and appreciate them all more than we can say! (Maybe we could say if we weren't in a nip induced stupor!)
If you'd like to pawticipate in the Paw It Forward, please say so in your comments on this post through midnight tonight. We'll take all the comments and draw the next pawticipant. We'd love to send you a box of goodies too so you can have as much fun as we are having! It's open to kitties and doggies so we hope you want to play along!

Tortie Tuesday!

It's Tortie Tuesday and today's lesson is to be grateful for good furiends and fortune. The reason for the lesson is that we had an absolutely fabulous weekend thanks to some furiends of ours and for that we are extremely grateful. We'll share more about this later this week but let's just say, we had a pawsome time and continue to do so with our fortune (aka toys, toys, toys)!
I also wanted to share that Mommy has decided to donate the proceeds of her sales in her BeadedTail shop this month to a local shelter, SafeHaven Humane Society. The reason is because last Saturday they assisted with the rescue of 45 cats from absolutely horrible, inhumane conditions. The shelter was already at capacity with 60 cats and kittens but they took on the additional care of these rescued cats and kittens. You can read more about these kitties by going to the Safe Haven website or clicking HERE for a local news report and video. It might make your eyes leaky like Mommy's though.

Mommy said that although she's only had 6 sales so far this month, she's going to donate all of her proceeds and also take in a bag of cat food and a bag of kitten food since that food will go directly to nourish the kitties.

Please send your purrayers and cross your paws that all the kitties get well and find the loving furever homes they deserve.

Monday Already?

Did you ever have one of those weekends that you planned to relax and nap but it turned into a nip-filled, fun, party-time weekend that just messed you all up but you didn't want it to end?
We just had one and I need a long nap to recover.
We'll tell you all about our weekend on Thursday so please stay tuned!

Summer Scenes

We're relaxing and napping this Sunday so we thought we'd share some scenes from around our area with you! The Farmer's Market is every Wednesday and Saturday downtown. They don't allow dogs there anymore after someone saw a dog sniffing some veggies. We're not sure what's wrong with that but they keep saying "Hi Gene". Anyway, here's some peppers with no nose prints on them!
Mommy and Daddy picked peaches last weekend. They smell really good and are in a big box that we get to play with when the peaches are gone! That might be awhile because they picked 29 lbs of them! Needless to say Mommy and Daddy are eating a lot of peach salsa, peach smoothies, grilled peaches and just plain ol' peaches!
They saw this dirt devil on the way home from the peach orchard. This is about the only kind of "tornado" that Mommy can handle anymore.
They also saw some goats but of course they didn't want their picture taken. Wonder if they know our blog friend Priscilla?
Well, we hope you enjoyed some of our local summer scenes! We're going to go back to our nap but wish you a wonderful Sunday!

Stroll With Sadie!

It's Sadieday so time for another stroll with me! Today we're going on a stroll through our neighborhood instead of through the forest so I have to keep my leash on so I can pull Mommy really fast on the trails.
In the neighborhood there are signs telling us where the deer are. That makes it so much easier than in the forest when I have no idea where they are.
Wonder if there are any deer out today? Let's keep looking for them Mommy!
I haven't seen any deer yet but I did see this guy. He didn't bark at all - he must be what they call a "good dog". Ha roo roo!
Well, I think they need to move the signs because there weren't any deer in this area today. Maybe next time the deer will stay in their designated area so I can see them. Anyway, hope you enjoyed your stroll with me today!
Have a great Sadieday!

Thankful Thursday!

Our mommy recently won a blog giveaway hosted by MysticWynd with a prize from Songbird Cotton Co. She doesn't win many things so she was real excited to win this prize! It arrived the other day and I helped open and inspect the package. It came wrapped in pretty purple tissue paper that made nice crinkly noises when I laid on it.
Let's get this string thingy off so we can get to the prize. But save the string thingy so I can play with it later!
Oooo, these are great Mommy! It's a wallet and a checkbook cover! I like the hot pink trim on it a lot!
Is this where your moneys will be Mommy? I just thought I should know in case we get low on treats and need to buy more.
Thanks so much to Karen from MysticWynd and especially to Amy from Songbird Cotton Co. for offering the wallet and checkbook cover that she made! Mommy loves her prize and appreciates it very much!
Be sure to check out Amy's shop for other wallets and also lovely purses that she makes! Also stop by MysticWynd to enjoy her blog and see her wonderful work!

Hope you have plenty to be Thankful for today and everyday!
