Holiday Memories

Today would've been our angel sisfur Sadie's 16th birthday and although she's been at the bridge for 4.5 years, we still think of her often especially during the holidays. She loved presents and was quite the snoop...

Of course with her sweet face she was always on Santa's nice list...

These memories made us smile and we hope they made you smile too! She loved spreading smiles around!

Weekend Wrap Up

Okay, we admit, we enjoyed our daddy time but I let him know yesterday morning that I couldn't wait for Mommy to get home. He told Mommy I was whiny. Whatever. Thankfully she knew better. As soon as she got home I greeted her at the door and rubbed all over her. I also let her know under no uncertain terms would I allow her to take the box with wheels anywhere anytime soon...

She reminded me that our loot was inside so I did let her open it. Imagine our surprise when we found out that the TSA searched our loot!

Everything was accounted for so all is well! Anyway, as Mommy was unpacking she told us all about her trip. Turns out she cheated on us again with Summer. She's pretty smitten with that girl especially after Summer touched her nose to Mommy's then rubbed her face against her cheek. Yep, she had her by her pretty little paw after that! But rumor has it Summer gives head butts to a lot of people but don't tell Mommy!

Seems that our Flats made it around Nashville too. They went to the Hermitage with some friends...

Looks like they had a lot of fun! Mommy said she thought of me all the time she was gone even when she saw a dog's tail...

The dog's name was Katie Cat so maybe that's why. Anyway, I'm glad she's home and I know she's glad to be home too. She's super tired so I'll make sure she gets plenty of rest today and that I get plenty of treats!

Today would have been our sisfur Sadie's 13th Gotcha Day!  We thought cute puppy photos of her would be the perfect way to begin the weekend so here's Sadie as she strolled into Mommy and Daddy's hearts...

She sure was a cute little baby wasn't she?

It's easier to see how small she was next to Daddy...

And here she is with our other angel sisfur KC who was 40 lbs.  Sadie grew up to weigh twice that...

We hope you enjoyed seeing Sadie's baby pictures!  They sure started our weekend off with a smile and we hope you're smiling too!  Be sure to spread those smiles around and brighten someone else's day too!

Ruler of the Roost

It's been pretty warm here this week (80s) so that means the windows have been closed.  This makes it hard to get whiffs plus it mutes the Birdie Network so I scratch at the window for it to open...

Usually that signals Mommy to get up and come open it but she's not budging...

Maybe if I rub my face on the opener thingy I can get it open myself...

Okay, how about if I push it...

You know you can get off your patootie and open this window for me...

Yep, I won again!

That was too easy but a window is like a door, it should not be closed!

Wordless Wednesday

Thank Cod It's Sadieday!

We're so happy it's Sadieday!  We won't get woke up at 3:40am for two whole days plus Mommy and Daddy have nothing to do but take care of our every desire just the way it should be, right?  We'll take care of them too like holding Mommy down during the races this weekend...

We know Sadie would be proud of us since she used to hold her down too...

And she'd get scritches out of the deal too...

She had Mommy wrapped around her big ole husky paw!

It's Sadieday ALL Weekend!

Yay it's Sadieday! I'm so happy I'm declaring it Sadieday ALL weekend! I'm doing this because of course we can't have too much of Sadieday but also because Mommy has been so busy she says she doesn't know which end is up. Isn't that the silliest thing you've ever heard? She should know by now that my tail end points up! To make sure she see which end is up, let's go on a stroll so she can follow my cutie patootie... I bet there's something up here that'll help relax her too...
Yep, this is a view she'll like... I'd much rather be playing in the water but for some reason, Mommy just likes to listen to it and look at it. She's weird... But, I'll do anything to make Mommy smile... I hope I made you smile today too!

It's Monday Already?

Ugh it's Monday! I can't even look...
Huh? What's that Mommy? You're off this week? WOO! Well, what are you waiting on, let's go for a stroll!
Mommy thinks she took the week off to get ready for a craft show next month and to get caught up on stuff around here but I happen to have other plans! We'll see if she can resist my cute face!

Messin' with My Sisfur Part II...

Last week I told you how fun it is to mess with my woofie sisfur Sadie by making her wonder what I was up to so I thought I'd show you another way I mess with her...
Sadie has trouble walking on the wood floor in the Mancave so we have a big rug on it. Well, I like to lay right in the middle of that rug even though it's supposedly for her. Can you see how happy this makes her?
I find it kinda fun to make her uncomfortable but Mommy feels sorry for her and asks if she wants some lovin'...
Well of course she doesn't turn that down...
She's a total Momma's Girl so Mommy doesn't like me messin' with her. Fine. I'll just stare at her so she sleeps with one eye open! Sadie may be spoiled but Mommy is a spoilsport.

Stroll with Sadie

Time again for a Sadieday stroll with me! I've been looking forward to this all week so let's not dilly dally, let's go! As you can tell, I let Mommy of her leash again today but she promised to keep up and not get too far behind. I have to stop and wait for her every so often though... She's a slow poke but she eventually catches up... I love puddles but I'll be good and walk around this one... But I just can't resist this one...
