Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! My favorite day of the week! Yesterday my little sisfur made it seem like she's the only one glad Mommy is home but I'm glad too. I even helped hold down the box with wheels so she couldn't leave again...

Because of Mommy whining about being tired us holding the box with wheels down so long, we haven't got our loot that's inside it yet. Well, we did get one thing Mommy won at BlogPaws but I can't figure out what the heck it is...

We'll eventually get our loot so I'm not too worried about it. In the mean time, I'm enjoying having Mommy home...

I'd enjoy it even more if she'd rub my tummy! Just sayin.

Weekend Wrap Up

Okay, we admit, we enjoyed our daddy time but I let him know yesterday morning that I couldn't wait for Mommy to get home. He told Mommy I was whiny. Whatever. Thankfully she knew better. As soon as she got home I greeted her at the door and rubbed all over her. I also let her know under no uncertain terms would I allow her to take the box with wheels anywhere anytime soon...

She reminded me that our loot was inside so I did let her open it. Imagine our surprise when we found out that the TSA searched our loot!

Everything was accounted for so all is well! Anyway, as Mommy was unpacking she told us all about her trip. Turns out she cheated on us again with Summer. She's pretty smitten with that girl especially after Summer touched her nose to Mommy's then rubbed her face against her cheek. Yep, she had her by her pretty little paw after that! But rumor has it Summer gives head butts to a lot of people but don't tell Mommy!

Seems that our Flats made it around Nashville too. They went to the Hermitage with some friends...

Looks like they had a lot of fun! Mommy said she thought of me all the time she was gone even when she saw a dog's tail...

The dog's name was Katie Cat so maybe that's why. Anyway, I'm glad she's home and I know she's glad to be home too. She's super tired so I'll make sure she gets plenty of rest today and that I get plenty of treats!

Finally Friday

We're glad it's Friday! We've been enjoying extra Daddy time this week while Mommy is at BlogPaws in Nashville. Since she's gone, we're going to show you some outtakes we have from the squizillions of pictures she takes of us.  She takes pictures that she thinks are cute yet may not be very flattering like this...

Sometimes we have no idea why she takes a picture...

One day we let her sleep in but when she woke up, this is what she saw...

Why would she take a picture of a beady helper when there's bad lighting? Because she thinks I look angelic...

This was early one morning when she first came downstairs and she thought it was so peaceful. There were no sounds except for the birdies outside...

Daddy doesn't take pictures of us thank Cod. We're going to enjoy a camera free, relaxing weekend although we do miss Mommy.  She'll be home soon though!

Mommy's Home!

We had a fun weekend with Daddy but apparently we didn't have as much fun as Mommy did at BlogPaws.  She got to meet lots of our blog friends plus make new friends.  She also visited the Katnip Lounge again.  See how excited Salem is to have all the cat ladies admiring her...

Mommy was also able to meet angel Ginger Jasper's mum Carol who happened to be in Vegas all the way from the U.K. celebrating their 10th anniversary...

As you can see, there's one woofie in the photo and that's our friend Sugar the Golden Retriever who Mommy absolutely adores!  She pet her every single time she saw her and even had breakfast with her and her mom one day.  We don't mind her cheating on us with a woofie as long as it's Sugar.  Besides, we are open to bribes in the form of a a big red box full of swag...

She brought home lots of goodies including a pink Sleepypod that she won!  But no matter how much loot we got there's one thing that I wanted the most...

Pick me up and hold me Mommy...

I love my Daddy but I'm a Momma's girl so plan on spending the day catching up on cuddles!

Uh Oh, the Big Red Box

Yesterday the big red box with wheels came out and that usually means someone thinks they're going somewhere. I found out that Mommy thought she was going to BlogPaws. Well, I sat my Tortie tushie on the big red box and gave an adorable look. There's no way she would leave after that!

Hmmm. It didn't work. She continued putting in this big red box. I needed to figure out something else...

Okay, I pulled in non-Tortie reinforcement and told her to try to give an adorable face like mine...

That didn't work either. I figured I might as well get comfy.

My Tortie charm didn't work, Mommy went to BlogPaws.  Oh well, we'll just enjoy our time with Daddy - I have him wrapped around my paw!

Even though Mommy is gone, we'll be reading your blogs and will comment when we can.
