Holiday Memories

Today would've been our angel sisfur Sadie's 16th birthday and although she's been at the bridge for 4.5 years, we still think of her often especially during the holidays. She loved presents and was quite the snoop...

Of course with her sweet face she was always on Santa's nice list...

These memories made us smile and we hope they made you smile too! She loved spreading smiles around!

Tortie Tuesday

Today is Tortie Tuesday but it's also a flashback day because I'm thinking of our angel sisfur Sadie. It would've been her 15th birthday today so I know she's at the Rainbow Bridge watching over us...

We have a picture of her at her favorite place on the coast watching over us every day...

Not a day goes by that we don't think of her and we all miss her very much. Time does heal some of the pain but it will never take away our memories of her smile.

On this Tortie Tuesday in honor of Sadie, be sure to wear a smile and spread it to others. She'd like that very much.

Happy Birthday at the Bridge to our Sisfur Sadie!

Today, December 15th, would have been our sisfur Sadie's 14th birthday.  Even though she went to the bridge 2 1/2 years ago, we still miss her very much especially during the holidays.  She loved this time of year because she got to look at the pretty Christmas lights while on her neighborhood strolls...

And she loved presents...

What she loved most was having a warm, loving furever home to celebrate the holidays in...

So, in her honor, we're donating 50% of the proceeds of our BeadedTail shop for the entire month of December as well as $1 per comment on this post to Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon.  We know she'd be happy we're helping the dogs waiting for their loving furever homes this holiday season.  

We bet she's smiling up at the Bridge today and we hope you help spread those smiles around in your neck of the woods.

Special Sadieday Weekend!

Tomorrow, December 15th, would have been Sadie's 13th birthday so we're remembering her and celebrating happy times just as she would want us too!  We hope she's enjoying all her favorite things at the Bridge like snow...

And running through the forest...

And dipping her toesies in the ocean...

To celebrate her birthday, we hope you do something you really enjoy this weekend so you can wear a Sadie smile too!  Be sure to spread those smiles around so everybody has a happy Sadieday!

It's Sadieday!

It's Sadieday but we have very heavy hearts because it would have been Sadie's 12th birthday today.  Between that and the horrible news of the recent shootings has our mommy all leaky and all of us heartbroken.  Sadie hated it when Mommy got leaky and would always try to get as close to her as possible and try to be a lap dog...

We know Sadie is running around like a puppy celebrating her birthday across the Bridge with a big ole smile on her face...

Since we know Sadie wouldn't want us to be sad, we have a challenge for everybuddy today.  We'd like for you to do something that makes your heart happy.  Examples can be to contact somebuddy you haven't heard from in awhile, let somebuddy know how much you appreciate them or even take cookies to your neighbors with or without fur.  Our mommy and daddy are going to take dog and cat food and treats to an animal shelter today in honor of Sadie since she sure loved her treats...

We hope you take us up on our challenge and make yourself and somebuddy else smile today in honor of our sisfur Sadie!  If you do, please let us know!

Today is my 11th Birthday! Can you believe I used to be this little?

Happy Birthday to Sadie!

Today is Sadie's honorary 10th birthday! We don't know the exact date she was born since she was rescued from a bad place as a baby but we celebrate her birthday on December 15th. She was such a sweet little puppy...

and she's even sweeter today!

She's very happy to have such great furiends around the world too...

She's also happy about all the treats and spoilin' she's getting today!
