Finally Friday

Even though it's been hot here with highs in the upper 90s, I've enjoyed naps in the fresh air...

That is until the resistance band Mommy was using for shoulder presses slipped out from under her feet and sounded like a gun shot when it hit the mancave ceiling. It scairt the [censored] out of me so I wouldn't go back in there...

Only consolation is it smacked her in the patooty on the way to the ceiling. MOL! Serves her right! Anyway, I'll be staying upstairs watching for Grandpa from Kansas since he's on his way to visit us...

I'm first in line for his scritches! I can hardly wait!

Fright Night

One of my jobs is keeping the bed monsters at bay when Mommy changes the sheets but who knew I'd have to keep stringy spiders at bay too...

Can you believe that stringy spider scared the beejeebers out of Mommy? Okay, to be fair, it was night and we only had our small lamp on so it was a little scary looking when the sheet was unfolded...

But I whapped it...

And whapped it again...

I'm pretty sure it's deaded now...

It's a tough job battling bed monsters and stringy spiders but somekitty's got to do it! What would Mommy do without me?

Fourth of July Weekend!

Tomorrow is the 4th of July which is a big celebration for the USA filled with noisy booms. I'll be celebrating from under the nearest bed or inside the closet or my cubby...
