Thankful Thursday

As of today I've been in my new home for one month. I'm winning over my kitty sisfurs slowy. Isabella lets me sniff her while she makes a funny sound. She tries to hug me but never quite gets her paws past my snooter. Her hugs are kinda weird because it's more like boxing but I make sure to give her plenty of chances to get it right. As for Angel, let's just say she walks away instead of runs now. She's tougher to win over. It didn't help me score points with the kitties when I got a special delivery just for me...
I got a surprise BarkBox from my beagle friend, Winnie...
It meant a lot to get something just for me in this house full of kitty stuffs...
I didn't even let the kitties have all the fun with the box!
The theme for the BarkBox is Pharoahs so I got a cool Egyptian squirrel...
And King Tut...
I also got some yummy treats that I've enjoyed stuffed in my Kongs, thrown in my kennel and as treats when I train my peeps. Out of everything in the box, my favorite is the squirrel especially because it squeaks really loud...
Much thanks to Winnie for the pawesome gift! I really do appreciate it! Also I want to thank everyone who visits this blog and has welcomed me to my new home. It really means a lot to me and I look forward to contributing here - as long as the kitties agree of course. Apparently they rule the roost.

I hope you have plenty to be thankful for today!

Tortie Tuesday

It's been nearly a month since my dental surgery to remove all my bad teefs so imagine my surprise when Mommy told me I got a gift from the Tooth Fairy weeks ago...
She claims she didn't tell me earlier because my mouth was healing and also I had a kitty cold and she didn't want me to get germies on the gifts which could get my little sisfur sick since the card says I should share. Whatever...
Anyway, I did get the Tooth Fairy's gifts and they are lots of fun!
They even turned me into an upside down Tortie wiggly worm...
And per the Tooth Fairy's request, I even shared with my little sisfur...
Many thanks to the Tooth Fairy (aka Ellen and her 14 kitties)!
I appreciate you thinking of me and I love the toys!

I hope your Tortie Tuesday feels as blessed as mine does!

Weekend Wrap Up

What a weekend! We celebrated for three days straight! Well, okay so we slept a lot but we did enjoy celebrating Mommy and Daddy's 27th anniversary and World Cats Day on Sadieday! Thanks to everyone for your comments Friday too! In addition to our celebrating and sleeping, Daddy took Mommy to her happy place - the Oregon coast...
She loves being at the coast so that put pressure on me to find the perfect anniversary gift. I decided to get her something she totally wouldn't expect...
That's right! I got the coolest little green wiggly worm ever! Well, at least it used to wiggle...
Come on little guy, wiggle!
Okay, so he didn't wiggle but it sure made Mommy squirm! She was so happy with it she put it somewhere special. I wouldn't tell her where I got it from but she doesn't want me to bring anymore to her since she thinks one is more than enough. Isn't that silly?

Anyway, we hope you had a good weekend too! What did you do?

Hope you enjoy something unexpected today!

Surprise Package

We received a small package from Chewy.com last week and since we didn't have an order in, Mommy thought it was something for us to review so put it aside until she could get us together for a photo shoot with the product.   Yesterday she finally got her booty in gear and checked out the package.  She realized it didn't feel like product so she opened it up then was so surprised she sat there with a stunned look on her face and then her eyes got leaky.  She was speechless so she put it down and I checked it out myself...
Sorry that photo is a little blurry but Mommy freaked when I stepped on it and shooed me off!  We didn't know that Chewy.com has an artist named Lisa working there but she saw a photo of me in a previous review and painted this lovely portrait of me...
She got my ears and eyes right...
And, oh yeah, my tongue...
She also painted a portrait of my sisfur Isabella...
She got her ears and eyes right too...
The back of each painting has this note on it...
We certainly love it #TeamChewy!  Our photos don't do the paintings justice since Mommy was so discombobulated and too stunned to take very good photos.  We are so grateful for Lisa at Chewy.com for such a thoughtful, precious gift!  We don't know how to thank you enough!  Mommy will cherish them always!

Have you ever received a gift that totally surprised you?

Hope you have a wonderful Monday!
