Weekend Wrap Up

We finally had a weekend where we had nothing to do but relax...

It was nice! Another nice thing that happened was that Daddy turned the blinds just right so I could enjoy a sunpuddle while playing with my nip pillow...

He also took Mommy to her happy place on his day - Father's day. Of course, Mommy found a heart shaped shell...

It's fitting since we love our Daddy very much every single day of the year. We lucked out by getting the best cat daddy ever! Not many would let a 13 lb Tortie bowling ball sleep on them. Just sayin.

Thankful Thursday

We're super thankful today that Mommy came home yesterday! Isabella not only woke up but was sitting up when Mommy walked in the door! I was so happy to see her I helped her unpack...

She brought me a catnip mouse from the Stockyards in Fort Worth. It made me go crazypants...

Don't worry, I shared with Isabella too...

Another thing we're thankful for is that what happens in Texas, stays in Texas...

Yeah, no comment.

Finally Friday!

According to our Mommy this has been the longest shortest week ever.  Whatever that means.  Anyway, it's Friday so time to get the party started...

But party responsibly so you don't overdo it and create a scene...

Cinco De Mayo!

Today is Cinco de Mayo and that means my mousie turns into a chili pepper!

And it's filled with nip!

It even has a really long stem so it can't escape...

I think mousies should be chili peppers every dayo of Mayo.  Get it?  Dayo, Mayo.  MOL!  I crack myself up!

It's Halloween!

Halloween is finally here no matter how much we didn't want it to come.  I don't like the doorbell one bit so to have it ring over and over again for a few hours is not my idea of fun.  Isabella couldn't care less.  She sleeps through anything!  Anyway, to prepare for tonight I was grazing on nip sprinkled on my Ess when Mommy called me to come see her pumpkin...

OMC Mommy!  You interrupted my nip fest for that...that...pumpkin wannabe?

She showed it to Isabella too.

Uh oh, looks like Angel's had too much nip again...

HELP!  Get me outta here!  This pumpkin is stalking me!

PeeS:  Yesterday's post was of Isabella yawning.  She never makes a scary face or gets mad, ever, but she does yawn.  A lot.

Let's Start the Week with Nip!

I admit, I am a nip lover so when The Natural Pet Company asked if we'd like to try out their premium Catnip we couldn't turn down the opportunity!

The bag is filled to the brim with fabulous smelling, great quality catnip!  Let's this test started!

Mommy sprinkled some nip on my Ess and at first I just warmed it up by laying on it...

Then I rolled in it to get the full effect...

I can't stop rolling!

OMC!  This is good stuff!

I feel like my body is still wigglin'...

The Natural Pet Company's premium Catnip gets four paws up from me!   The 4oz bag is a lot of nip that should last a long time since for us, a little goes a long way.  It has a zip lock closure to keep it fresh although I can still smell it through the drawer that Mommy put it in.

Mommy didn't know how the nip would affect me since I tend to get a little cranky (i.e. smacky paws) with my sisfur while under the influence of some nips and especially silvervine so I tested it for the photo shoot alone.  Isabella did meander in and we had a brief exchange of smacky paws but not near as much as usual which made Mommy happy.  Isabella licked the nip and laid in it which is the extent of what she does with nip so that means she liked it to.

You Can Lead a Tortie to a Toy But You Can't Make Her Play!

Mommy went to the pet foods store and they gave her this silly free mouse.  Does she seriously think I'm going to play with it when I know there are foods in the other room?

It does have nip in it so maybe I'll bat it just a little...

Okay, maybe I'll play with it just a bit...

Dang nip!  Gets me every time!  Even Torties have weaknesses!

PeeS:  Yesterday's photo was Angel waiting for her scritches that she expects every single time anybody goes upstairs.  She runs into the human litterbox and expects to be followed so she can have scritches a squizillion times a day.  Nope, she's not spoilt.

Welcome to the first day of 2013!  I know it's going to be a good year since it starts on Tortie Tuesday!  So, how'd you ring in the New Year?  My little sisfur celebrated with some silvervine from our Malaysian furiends, The Furries of Whisppy.  It made her very crazypants...

My night was way more subdued holding Daddy down while watching movies although I must admit, I didn't make it up until midnight...

That's okay, I'm up now and going to enjoy Tortie Tuesday and the start of a brand new year!

Nip Hangover

Hey Bella, that was quite a birthday celebration huh?  I think this was the bestest birthday I've had but for some reason, I don't remember much...

Well you're 6 now Angel so you can't handle the nip like you used to in your kitten days.  You're gonna have to learn moderation...

Okay then I'll practice staying awake in moderation...

Good thing we get wiser and cuter as we get older!
