Thankful Thursday

We're super thankful today that Mommy came home yesterday! Isabella not only woke up but was sitting up when Mommy walked in the door! I was so happy to see her I helped her unpack...

She brought me a catnip mouse from the Stockyards in Fort Worth. It made me go crazypants...

Don't worry, I shared with Isabella too...

Another thing we're thankful for is that what happens in Texas, stays in Texas...

Yeah, no comment.

Tortie Tuesday

I'm an extremely mellow Tortie. Most of the time. On occasion I've been known to be a Thundering Herd of one Tortie especially at 2 in the morning. I go crazypants over wand toys and ribbons. Yesterday I showed my sneaky, mischievous side too. Mommy was upstairs but didn't take her phone. Boy was she surprised when she later found this photo...

It was fun watching her try to remember when in the halibut she took it! She couldn't figure out where that photo came from! MOL! Of course I'll never tell how I did it!

Tortie Tuesday

I have a reputation of being a kitty who loves to sleep is more reserved and while this is true, I do have crazypants moments.  For instance, last Friday it was nice out so Mommy opened the window and I went a little crazypants - can you tell?

Don't worry, it only lasted a few minutes...

Frankly being crazypants wears me out but it is fun to do from time to time.

Finally Friday

I know today will be the day that I'll finally pull the string off this tree...

Oh Yeah...Good Stuff!

We love everything that Mommy brought back from BlogPaws but we especially love a special intoxicating package from the kitties at the Katnip Lounge including feathers and a mousie scented with Silvervine and valerian root...

Oh my Cod kitties, this stuff is good...

It turns me into a wiggly worm pile of floof!

I love you Mr. Mousie even though you have three heads...

Thank you to the Lounge kitties and their mommy and daddy for the potent swag!  We're certainly enjoying it here!

Monday Mayhem...Sort Of

We're pretty much always happy and lovey dovey around here but we thought we'd show you what happens when someTortie turns crazypants.  She gets on a higher level and tries to be intimidating...

Then a stare down begins...

If I take my eye off her, she attempts to do smacky paw...

Of course that results in an attempted retaliation smacky paw...

Before any paws can be smacked, Mommy always breaks it up.  She's such a spoil sport!  She worries that somekitty will get hurt or someTortie will fall off the cat tree because she is missing the graceful kitty gene.  Whatever the reason, we very rarely do smacky paws where we actually smack anything.  At least not when Mommy's around!

The Tale Behind the Tail

I know that my post yesterday was as cute as can be so I thought I'd show you what led up to that particular pose.  I always enjoy some cat tree time in the mornings and since I can get pretty crazypants on it I start with getting my nails ready for grippin'...

I think I'll start up at the higher bunk...

The anticipation is building...

Here we go...time to go all crazypants on the floofy monster attached to my booty...

As you saw yesterday, I got it firmly in my grasp...

I always tame that floofy monster!  So that is the tale behind the tail.
As Mommy always says, I'm so cute she can hardly stand it!  I have to agree...

Happy New Year!

Welcome to the first day of 2013!  I know it's going to be a good year since it starts on Tortie Tuesday!  So, how'd you ring in the New Year?  My little sisfur celebrated with some silvervine from our Malaysian furiends, The Furries of Whisppy.  It made her very crazypants...

My night was way more subdued holding Daddy down while watching movies although I must admit, I didn't make it up until midnight...

That's okay, I'm up now and going to enjoy Tortie Tuesday and the start of a brand new year!
