I know today will be the day that I'll finally pull the string off this tree...

A New Channel!

We were enjoying the current episode of the Birdie TV when the channel kept flickering...

Did you change the channel Bella?
No, I thought you did!

What just flew off the screen that way?

Whoa Nelly!  How'd it move up there so fast?

And why is Mommy giggling her fool head off behind us?

Now where'd it go?

There it is!  Over there!

This channel is better than the Birdie Network!

I think this is the premium channel!

Sure hope the channel doesn't change!  Also hope Mommy stops giggling!  It's not the comedy network!  Sheesh!

What's Up this Wednesday? Me.

As I was taking a rare break from watching Mommy make beady goodies, she turned around and couldn't help herself, she HAD to take a picture of me...

All the while she kept saying I was so cute she could hardly stand it...

Yeah, well, now I'm up, thank ya very much...

For some reason it's okay to wake me up from my much deserved nap yet when I wake her up for my much deserved treat at 3am, it's not quite as okay.  But even then she tells me it's a good thing I'm cute!

Behind the Scenes

Remember my adorable photo on Wordless Wednesday of me looking at my cute self in the mirror.  Well, I thought I'd show you the behind the scenes since it wasn't quite as easy as it may have appeared.  You see, Mommy went to the guest room downstairs and waited for me to follow her as always without me noticing but I found her and noticed the cell phone ready to take photos...

Of course I pretended not to know what she was up to by meandering over to the mirror...

I floofed up my tail while still keeping an eye on her...

I even cleaned a smudge off the mirror since somebuddy obviously doesn't clean good enough...

Okay Mommy, you won't put that phone down so I'll give you just one chance so are you ready?

And that is when I gave her the look she was waiting for, a deep thoughtful gaze at my own beautiful reflection...

We just gotta make our beans work for the photos sometimes since no kitty performs on demand.

Tortie Tuesday

Yay it's Tortie Tuesday!  I planned to spend the day hanging out in my cat tree enjoying some peace and quiet but then Mommy came in and kept giggling...

I don't have a clue what's so funny about me hanging out in the cat tree...

What?  You think I was taking 'hanging out' too literally?

Oh my Cod.  Can you believe the things I have to put up with around here?

I have no idea why she'd say such a thing. She's obviously off her rocker...

Very Lazy Sunday...

Okay, we aren't getting around too much this weekend so Mommy was digging through the archives and found something that made her giggle so she thought she'd post it again. This is from two years ago and I don't see what's so funny about it but anyway, here it is again...

Sadie does an Elvis impersonation by lifting her lip up on one side and leaning her head to the other when we come home and I've been trying to capture it on video. Because she moves so fast it's been nearly impossible. When we leave, Sadie sleeps on her own futon in her own room with a fan blowing on her so she sleeps very, very hard. One day we came home and woke her up with the video running and she didn't have time to wake up fully (notice the red eyes) so I sort of captured the Elvis impersonation before she had a chance to get up and run down the hall. Oh, and you can see her bent ear too which is what she also does on occasion and is cute also! Best enjoyed with sound but I apologize for the weird giggles!

It's April 15th!

Aside from Sadiedays, holidays and birthdays, today is our favorite day of the year! It's April 15th which means tax season is over and we get more Mommy time!

Her title can now officialy change to C.P.A. - Canine Personal Assistant and one of her first tasks will be more strolls with me!

Happy Tortie Tuesday everyone! I'm just laying here reading your blogs and enjoying every word and every photo!

Although all of us read your posts, we may not always be able to comment cause our C.P.A. (Cats Purrsonal Assistant) thinks she's too busy at work being another type of C.P.A. to help us comment. Can you believe that?

She should know that we only have Relax seasons, not Tax seasons! Until we get her trained better, I just wanted to let you know in advance.
