Don't Look Now!

Last night Mommy wanted to take our picture but her camera was upstairs so she thought she'd use her phone camera.  Seriously?  She expects us to pose nicely for a phone camera?  Uh, not gonna happen.

Oops, I thought I heard a treat bag so I looked at her Angel.

Well, don't do it again! Look the other way!

That should teach her to expect us pose for a phone camera or any camera for that matter!  At least until tomorrow.

PeeS:  Thanks for the comments on Tortie Tuesday about Isabella's asthma.  Since Sunday she's had just one episode coincidentally on Tortie Tuesday!  It only lasted about 15 seconds as opposed to nearly a minute like before so the prednisone seems to be working.  She's also much more active and even gets up around 10am instead of noon!   Thanks again everybuddy!

Behind the Scenes

Remember my adorable photo on Wordless Wednesday of me looking at my cute self in the mirror.  Well, I thought I'd show you the behind the scenes since it wasn't quite as easy as it may have appeared.  You see, Mommy went to the guest room downstairs and waited for me to follow her as always without me noticing but I found her and noticed the cell phone ready to take photos...

Of course I pretended not to know what she was up to by meandering over to the mirror...

I floofed up my tail while still keeping an eye on her...

I even cleaned a smudge off the mirror since somebuddy obviously doesn't clean good enough...

Okay Mommy, you won't put that phone down so I'll give you just one chance so are you ready?

And that is when I gave her the look she was waiting for, a deep thoughtful gaze at my own beautiful reflection...

We just gotta make our beans work for the photos sometimes since no kitty performs on demand.

♥ Happy Valentines Day! ♥

Since this week has been extra busy for Mommy and we haven't been very cooperative for photo shoots, we're going to use photos from two years ago when we weren't so cooperative either. It even stars our sisfur Sadie so we hope you enjoy!

Today is Mommy's favorite holiday because she loves hearts and all the cheery colors so you'd think we'd want to be extra good for this photo shoot.  Well, I'm the Supermodel in the family but for some reason she tried to get photos of my sisfurs with the red stuffed heart instead of calling in me, the purrfessional. Well, Angel didn't want to look at the camera...

Mommy was able to get one sorta good photo of her before she took off...

because this happened...

Sadie crashed the photo session and started sniffing the heart...

and me...

So I decided to get in position for the photo shoot but Sadie tried to upstage me...

The she started howling. Loudly.

Sometimes it's tough being a Supermodel but I'm a Tortie and I will persevere!

Supermodels or just Supernatural?

So many times we're woken up happy to help Mommy model jewelry.  Of course each photo session is like a box of litter, you never know what you're gonna get!  Isabella thought her paws looked rather artsy in this photo with Mommy's newest bracelet...

And I look very Angelic in this photo don't I?

I knew I was a purrfect Angel but it's not always captured in a photo.  Of course, no matter the photo, our beauty always shines through!

Happy Sadieday!

It's Sadieday and it finally quit raining which means Mommy has been busy spending the daylight strolling hours getting things done like picking up leaves and getting a Christmas tree. Yeah, her priorities are totally messed up. When she wanted to take photos of me, well, I was just too busy...
She tried again outside but nope, I'm still too busy... I'm busy doing things like watching for kitties so no photo session for me...
I might not be too busy if treats were involved though... Did you say okay Mommy?
I'm never too busy for Yummy Chummies!
Now if only she could get un-busy so we can go on a Sadieday stroll in the daylight instead of the dark. Oh well, any stroll is better than no stroll!

PeeS: I'm still limping a little but I'm taking a new chewy pill called Dasuquin with MSM that we heard about from our friend Sugar here that seems to be helping. We'll know more in another week or so but hopefully it means I'll be back to normal very soon!

Photo Opp Foiled!

We know we are cute and we do give Mommy plenty of opportunities to take our picture but we don't make it easy. The other day she was outside taking photos of her jewelry and we were patiently waiting inside. It was chilly so I was laying up against my sisfur Isabella and Sadie came up behind us. When Mommy came in, she saw us being our cute selves and since she had her camera in one hand she tried to get a picture of us. She didn't want to move too much for fear we'd all move so this is the picture she took...

Pretty horrible photo except for the subjects huh? Since Sadie always looks away from the camera, she tried to get pictures of me and Isabella. We wouldn't look up either so she stood there for the longest time and when I knew she was about to give up I looked up and she wasn't ready for the picture...

We have to give her credit for continuing to try but any slight opportunity she had was gone because I looked outside, Isabella heard Daddy coming and Sadie did what she does when she's not looking away from the camera, she walks towards Mommy...

We'll continue to be cute and I'm sure Mommy will continue to try to capture our cuteness but we will not make it easy for her!
