Never Before Seen Friday Flashback

Mommy came across some photos from way back in 2011 that have never posted on our blog. It was back in the day when we could get paper bags from the grocery store without having to pay 5 cents for them. Also, our sisfur Sadie was here. Anyway, the photos made her smile so we're hoping they start your weekend off with a smile too! Enjoy!

I just love paper bags...

I can get inside one and no one knows where I'm at. That makes me so happy...

Uh, Angel, do you realize bags crinkle? We all know where you're in there...

I think she really believes she's hidden...

If I can't see Bella, she can't see me...

Oh my Cod! How am I going to get out of this bag without her seeing me? She can lay there for hours and I'll be stuck in here! What if I miss lunch, snack time, dinner, snack time, bedtime snack time, middle of the night snack time?

Seriously chica? Don't be so dramatic! 

Uh oh, I hear Sadie coming up behind me...

Angel: Phew! I'm not gonna starve!

Sadie: Cats. Sheesh.

Sadie's smile makes us all smile!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday so once again it's all about me! Who am I kidding. It's always about me! Anyway, as I showed you last week, my little sisfur Angel got a scratcher for her birthday but I got something too. I got her old, broken in scratcher (meaning I didn't have to do any work to make it purrfect), crinkly paper and a box...

So, who is the lucky one in that deal?

Angel can go ahead and make the popcorn popping sound on her new scratcher but this is truly the bestest second hand gift ever...

Supposedly Mommy thinks it's going out in the recycle bin but not on Tortie Tuesday it's not! 

Oh wait, recycle day is Tuesday which means it's never going out in the recycle bin ever!

Yes it is Bella! You have a squizillion other things to lay on, we don't need that in the house!

Whatever Mommy. Just wait until Daddy sees me. This box will be mine forever! Or at least until I'm done with it. Just sayin.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 9th birthday! I can't believe I'm already 9 years old especially when I still feel like a cute little kitten in crinkly paper...

Of course now I'm a beautiful ladycat but I still love that crinkly paper!

I'll be celebrating my birthday with everything I love including open windows, my scratchers, treats and of course my family. I'm a very lucky birthday girl!

Switcheroo

Thanks for everybody's suggestions on yesterday's post on ways to help me cope with all the changes going on around here.  Mommy is going to try some of the calming things suggested on me but we have to be careful about Isabella getting any because if she gets any more calm, her bones will disappear and she'll turn into a true Tortie slug.  Yes, she's really that calm.  Anyway, I'm not calm at all so until we get anything we're going to move Mommy's office into the master bedroom.  It'll be a quite a change since she'll have to work on a laptop at a card table instead of her desktop at a, well, desk but she'll do it if it helps me get farther away from the noisy remodel.  I also requested my crinkly paper be moved too...

The real loud noises start tomorrow so we'll be do the office switcheroo today so we're going to take a short blog break until Monday.

Nada Mucho Going On...

There hasn't been a whole lot going on around here lately except watching the rain melt the snow...

The rain is even putting a damper on Birdie TV.  I can't even have some fun with my sisfur because I can't find her...

Mighty Crinkly Paper Hunter

Mommy's office is filled with crinkly paper that needs to be tamed because it keeps us busy!  I burrow in it and wait for any signs of movement...

It's never fast enough for my mighty hunting skills...

I feel like I'm being watched...

Hey there Isabella...I'm ripping this crinkly paper to shreds so you just shoo away...

Now where was I?  Oh yeah, watch out crinkly paper, I'm the mighty hunter!

I don't know why Mommy complains about working in her office so much, it's lots of fun!
