Weekend Wrap Up

Last week was filled with tax returns and rain so our weekend was filled with a whole lot of nothing. We still had movie night of course...

Somemommy watches me more than the movie but I can't blame her. I am pretty darn cute. Anyway, the rest of the weekend was spent relaxing and watching the rain. Kinda ho hum. Just the kind of weekend we needed!

Almost Friday, Finally!

Our sunpuddle filled days have gave way to rain, rain and more rain. It makes the days really long when we work with a lamp on in the middle of the afternoon...

Anyway, Mommy's special Valentines dinner for Daddy was a success. She made manicotti, garlic bread and salad. It took her several hours and she complained a lot so she won't be cooking again anytime soon but Daddy appreciated it.

I kept Mommy up most of Valentines night because I had an upset tummy. I laid on Mommy and shook like a leaf which worried her so she couldn't sleep. We took a break from work yesterday and napped but she's still cranky tired. I'm tired too. Thank Cod it's almost Friday though!

Return of the Fuzzy Socks...

The weekend not only brought October but also the rain, cooler temperatures and somemommy's fuzzy socks. When I wasn't laying on the hot air thingy on the floor, I was sitting on Mommy's lap...

That's pretty much all I did all weekend. Oh wait, I snoopervised the making of some beady goodies and also chased a fly. Guess it was a productive weekend after all!

Lazy Rainy Sunday

While a lot of our friends on the east got snow this weekend, we got rain. Well, we get rain pretty much every day this time of year but when it rains on a Sunday, that means we get a lazy day making biscuits...

On Mommy's funky pants...

After I get enough biscuits made, it's time for a nap. The best spot is on her thighs, at least until she starts complaining about all the needles in her feets from them going dead...

Rain, Rain Go Away!

Okay, so we haven't had one snowflake all winter and we've had more sunny days than rainy ones but now that it is rainy, we don't like it...

It messes with the reception for Birdie TV which means we have absolutely nothing to do...

Besides tax returns of course.  Only two more weeks!  Yay!

Thankful Thursday

We have lots of things to be thankful for these days and today we'll show you one of them.  Last month our Mommy won a giveaway of an original piece of art from Lana at Lana's Art.  Mommy has always loved Lana's work so she was beyond thrilled to win!  She had a really hard time choosing one but I must say, she picked a really beautiful piece...

It's still in the protective covering to make sure Mommy doesn't get noseprints on it but we both give it our approval...

The painting is perfect for Mommy since it's about love and rain which pretty much sums up us in Oregon...

We love the beautiful painting very much!

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a nice weekend.  We had lots of sunpuddles on Sadieday but yesterday it rained.  A lot.

Since even the Birdie Network had splotchy reception, I decided to help Mommy make earrings for our Grandma from Vegas...

Hey, Mommy, do you seriously need to show my secrets of smooshing the beads?

Is nothing off limits?  Anyway, since I helped, the earrings turned out very purrty if I say so myself...

And no one would even guess that the beads used to be round until I smooshed them!

What would Mommy do without me?  Hope Grandma from Vegas loves the earrings I smooshed made!

Nada Mucho Going On...

There hasn't been a whole lot going on around here lately except watching the rain melt the snow...

The rain is even putting a damper on Birdie TV.  I can't even have some fun with my sisfur because I can't find her...

That's Entertainment?

It's been rainy and dreary here all week which means no sunpuddles and poor reception for the Birdie Network.  Isabella said she'd provide entertainment so I'm waiting for the show to start...

She's warming up by cleaning her paw.  This better be good...

Whaddya know, it was just an illusion since she made a green mousie appear all while laying down!  That takes great skill...

Now she turned herself into a camel!

Well, looks like the show is over since the Tortie has sat...

That was an exciting 30 seconds so now what do we do for the elebenty squillion seconds of the day.  Rain, rain please go away!

Weekend Wrap Up

Our weekend was a rainy one but the rain makes the birdies very active which makes for great Birdie TV...

We hope you were able to take us up on our Sadieday challenge to make the weekend a better one by doing something that made your heart happy in honor of our angel sisfur Sadie's birthday.  Our daddy took foods and treats to the shelter while Mommy waited in the car.  She can't handle going in since it makes her sad that she can't bring all the animals home but at least we know they have plenty of food and treats...
