A Big Birthday!

It's our mommy's milestone squizillionth birthday today! We suppose we should get up and celebrate with her. Maybe after one more nap...

Since Mommy's really old now she'd understand how nice it is to nap. Plus we don't want to wake somepuppy up...

It's pretty peaceful when NOleaveitgetdownstopNO Lexi sleeps. Yeah, okay, so she doesn't chase us anymore but still, she's got way more energy than anybuddy should. Anyway, since she recharges sleeps more these days, we were able to do some shopping for Mommy's surprise present...

It's a super soft kitty blanket for us to cuddle with her in and kitty socks because she loves those. Lexi didn't get her anything. Just sayin. 

Our grandma from Vegas and Aunt Dolly are here so we're hoping Dolly tires Lexi out. We'll all be celebrating our Mommy's big day! Enjoy a treat in her honor!

Long Weekend Wrap Up

We've enjoyed some time off while our Grandma from Vegas is here. We've been spoiled morning and night but in between Mommy and Daddy have taken her to the coast. They saw sea lions on the Newport Bayfront...

And saw whales at Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint...

But the most interesting sight they saw was traveling kitties!

These kitties were with their dad in an old motor home just hanging out at the door and obviously the Tortie ruled the roost...

Just as she should. Just saying.

Grandma from Vegas is here until tomorrow morning so we're hoping to get lots of spoiling in today.

Fall is Just Around the Corner

We're not ready for fall but we're starting to think about it especially since this month's BBArtisans challenge is to create an item for Autumn or blog about what you like about Fall/Autumn.   We thought long and hard about this challenge...

Since we don't remember what we like about Autumn, we decided to help Mommy pick some Fall colored beads and chain since we LOVE chain...

Then we helped her put them together to make a necklace.  While we were doing this we remembered something we liked about the change in seasons, how much easier it is to see birdies in naked trees!

Anyway, back to the necklace.  We wanted it to be 36 inches long so it squiggles a lot at the bottom...

It turned out pretty good if we say so ourselves!  What would Mommy do without us?

Even though we like seeing the birdies better in naked trees we're not ready for Fall.  Are you?  

One thing we are ready for is spending time with our Grandma from Las Vegas and she's here visiting us so we're going to take a break until Tuesday.  We hope you have a great weekend!

Working Vacation

Our Grandma from Las Vegas is here this week so that means we're supposed to be lavished with attention all day long right?  Yeah, no.  We've had to snoopervise her and Mommy paint.  Can you believe that?

At least I can watch the Birdie Network on the big screen while keeping an eye on Grandma too of course...

I'm keeping my eye on the lower half of the room.  It may look like I'm nodding off on the job but that's because I'm a purrfessional and have great snoopervising skills...

See.  I only look like I'm napping but I'm just that good...

I bet I could get a closer look if I got up here...

All done.  It's finally time for relaxing and enjoying window whiffs...

It's also time for spoiling so bring it on Grandma!

It's Tortie Tuesday!  My most favorite day of the week!  Our Grandma from Las Vegas is visiting this week so I took it upon myself to make sure she was nice and comfy...

Stroll with Sadie

Yay it's Sadieday! Time for a stroll with me and a special guest - my Grandma from Las Vegas! She was so excited to go on a stroll with me she could hardly contain herself so grab your running shoes and some water and come along with us! I had to keep Grandma on a leash since she's not familiar with our trails and I didn't want her to run off and chase anything...
See, she wanted to go offroading for a bit but since I had her on a leash I kept her in line...
I even made sure she didn't fall off the side when we met others on the trail... I did a good job keeping Grandma safe during our stroll... I had a good time too, can you tell? I hope you enjoyed coming along with us too! Hope you get a chance to get out and explore something new today!

This and That on Thursday

We've had a busy week getting spoilt giving attention to our Grandma but to get a chance to nap to be nice, we let Mommy and Daddy take her to the coast. We thought we'd show you some of what they saw over there. Of course, they saw birdies... Don't you think this birdie wanted to come home to us? There's always lots of sea lions on the Bayfront and when Mommy saw them in this cage she thought the worst...
But the cage is a way they can contain a sea lion if it ever needs help so it's a good thing, not a bad thing. Phew! In addition to sleeping in the cage, there were lots of sea lions out barking at this silly man in a row boat... Also on the Bayfront was a TUNA boat! Can you believe she didn't bring us ANY tuna?
This little husky was in the back truck parked on the street and of course Mommy couldn't resist petting it and wanted to bring him/her home...
Thankfully she didn't! She saw the dad come out to the truck and it was obvious that woofie has a very good home. We think next time she goes to the coast we need to go too in order to get our own birdies and tuna and keep her away from woofies. We could travel in our very own Simba RV! If our furiend Simba was inside, that would be purrfect!

Anyway, we hope you enjoyed a little of this and that today.

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday and today I thought I'd show you what a wonderful hostess I am for our Grandma from Las Vegas. I want to make sure she's comfortable so I made sure her bed was warm and comfy by getting in it first...
Then I make sure to whap all the bed monsters...
These bed monsters are very persistent but I'll get 'em all!
I've got these two monsters held down but I feel a big one behind me...
Hey, what's she doing here? It is TORTIE Tuesday! Grandma said there's enough room for both of us but we'll just see about that. I know there's not enough room for you know who...

PeeS: Our beautiful Tortie furiend Admiral is at the v-e-t's for 3 days to help her get hydrated up. We're sending purrs for her to get better soon so she can come home to her mom who misses her very much.

Welcoming Committee

We're not meowing like a pirate today like a lot of our furiends around the blogosphere are (one of us doesn't meow, ever). Instead we're all waiting with open paws and tuna breath for our Grandma from Las Vegas to get here... Last one to meet her at the door is a rotten egg!
Yeah, well Bella, we may be rotten eggs but at least we'll be awake while Angel will be napping after running to the door a squizillion times.

Stroll with Sadie!

It's Sadieday and time for another stroll with me! It's been awhile since we've been on a stroll so are you ready? Well, let's go!

Today we have a special guest along for our stroll - my Grandma from Las Vegas! She's here this week to help Mommy with her craft show this weekend but of course we know the real reason she came all the way here is to go on a stroll with me!

Since Grandma lives in the desert, I'm going to show her all the fun things we have here in Oregon like the green borders on our trail...

But the best thing about Oregon is the stroll with me!
