A Big Birthday!

It's our mommy's milestone squizillionth birthday today! We suppose we should get up and celebrate with her. Maybe after one more nap...

Since Mommy's really old now she'd understand how nice it is to nap. Plus we don't want to wake somepuppy up...

It's pretty peaceful when NOleaveitgetdownstopNO Lexi sleeps. Yeah, okay, so she doesn't chase us anymore but still, she's got way more energy than anybuddy should. Anyway, since she recharges sleeps more these days, we were able to do some shopping for Mommy's surprise present...

It's a super soft kitty blanket for us to cuddle with her in and kitty socks because she loves those. Lexi didn't get her anything. Just sayin. 

Our grandma from Vegas and Aunt Dolly are here so we're hoping Dolly tires Lexi out. We'll all be celebrating our Mommy's big day! Enjoy a treat in her honor!

Birthday Celebration!

Today is our Mommy's squizillion and ninth birthday! That's cause for a celebration that includes frosting and I sure don't want to miss it...

Of course I'm missing eight naps but who's counting, it'll be worth it!

Weekend Wrap Up

We enjoyed our weekend although we didn't get any frosting OR chick-hen. Can you believe that? Mommy decided a lemon bar would be her birthday treat. A lemon bar! Whatever. She thought since it was her birthday she should get to choose but we should've been consulted. *sigh*

Another thing she wanted for her birthday was to go with Daddy to her most favorite happy place - Cape Lookout...

She loves how one way you look, the big trees go right up to the sandy beach and the other way is a forest with huge trees and ocean mist...

There are also cliffs just south of the beach...

Trails lead up to the top of those cliffs for a panoramic view of the ocean, beach and forest...

Also at the top of the cliffs was a snake in the ferns beside the trail that caused their trip down the trail to be way faster than the trip up! Despite the snake, she had a wonderful birthday. Despite no frosting or chicken, we had a wonderful weekend too!

We don't normally post on a Sunday but we made an exception since it's our Mommy's squizillion and eighth birthday today!

She's expecting to have a great day based on her fortune from yesterday...

We're expecting frosting or chick-hen. So far there isn't any...

But the day isn't over yet! Bring on those blessings!

Today is our Mommy's squizillion and seventh birthday!

She won't be getting a puppy today but we sure hope she gets something with frosting or a box or crinkly paper! We might even let her sleep in. Maybe.

We're going to enjoy a long weekend celebrating her birthday with lots of cuddles, scritches and treats!

Birthday Celebration!

Today is our Mommy's squizillion and sixth birthday!

Of course she's WAY older than she was back then but she was already on her way to becoming a CPA (the accountant kind)...

We're making sure she takes a day off from being an accountant for the next five days...

That'll leave her plenty of time to be the other kind of CPA (cat's personal assistant kind)!

We're going to enjoy a long weekend filled with frosting, treats, scritches, toys and cuddles so we'll be back on Tuesday!

A Special Tortie Tuesday

Today is Tortie Tuesday and it also happens to be our mommy's birthday!  She's a squizillion and four today! I had our Grandma from Las Vegas help us get the purrfect card for her.  I sent Grandma some telepathic vibes and she got a card that pretty much matched them right down to the ear position...

My sisfur Angel and I are wishing Mommy a very Happy Birthday!

Now, I know in the past our sisfur Sadie had included a photo of her and the birthday girl but I don't wanna make Mommy mad since I want some birthday cake frosting so here's a photo of me and only me, nobuddy else...

Special Sunday!

Today is a special day because our mommy turns a squizillion and three! We're all making sure she has a very good day. I had my little sisfurs have our Grandma in Las Vegas get Mommy a card from all of us so since they did that, I'll be the one to show it... Wait a minute, this card tastes a little fishy... What's this? A cat? Ugh! I give my sisfurs one task and look what they did!
Well, at least the inside is right with me listed in the numero uno position!
Since I'm in charge of this blog post, I'm going to show you a picture of me taken yesterday. It's only a picture of me but if someone else happened to get in the way of the camera it's not my fault... Happy Birthday Mommy!

Special Sadieday!

Today is a very special Sadieday because it's my mommy's birthday! She turns a squizillion and two today so I'm taking her on a special stroll on a forest path in the Cascade mountains! Do you want to come along? Okay, let's go!

Since it's Mommy's birthday I even let her off leash so she can explore all the new smells sights...

I also sort of let her take a picture of my face...

Oh, okay, I can do a little better job of letting her take a picture of my face today. It's not my fault I ran to her too fast and she wasn't ready but hey, at least I smiled!

Time to head back to my SUV (Sadie Utility Vehicle)* and go get some birthday cake!
