Finally Friday

We're glad it's Friday! We've been enjoying extra Daddy time this week while Mommy is at BlogPaws in Nashville. Since she's gone, we're going to show you some outtakes we have from the squizillions of pictures she takes of us.  She takes pictures that she thinks are cute yet may not be very flattering like this...

Sometimes we have no idea why she takes a picture...

One day we let her sleep in but when she woke up, this is what she saw...

Why would she take a picture of a beady helper when there's bad lighting? Because she thinks I look angelic...

This was early one morning when she first came downstairs and she thought it was so peaceful. There were no sounds except for the birdies outside...

Daddy doesn't take pictures of us thank Cod. We're going to enjoy a camera free, relaxing weekend although we do miss Mommy.  She'll be home soon though!

Sneak Attack!

Our friends Leasa and Tuxi sent us a toy that has fevvers and even chirps like a birdie.  I was a little suspicious at first...

Isabella didn't know what to think about it either...

I played it cool in order to keep the element of surprise...

Then I made my move...

Thoughts on Memorial Day

Today our thoughts are with the men and women who have fought and died for our country. We are grateful for their service and our freedom. We're also thinking of our friends and loved ones we have lost.

Memorial Day Weekend Eve

We're so glad it's finally Friday especially since it's a long, holiday weekend!  Since Memorial Day is on Monday, we're going to flashback to the last Memorial Day weekend stroll with our sisfur Sadie in 2012.  This was soon after she was recovering from a surgery so she was very happy to go out on a stroll.  We hope you enjoy seeing her beautiful smile on this particular weekend!

Yay it's Sadieday!  I got my stitches out last week but my neck is still itchy (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) so let's go on a stroll where I can trust Mommy off leash.  Are you ready?  Leash up your beans if necessary and let's go!

There's a shadow Monster chasing me!  RUN!

It wasn't a Monster, it was just my Mommy.  Ha roo roo!

The trail is a little rough so I won't go so fast.  Mommy is a tad clumsy so I don't want her to fall like she's been known to do...

Even at a slow pace, it's fun to take a stroll on a Sadieday!

Weekend Wrap Up

The weekends go by way too fast!  Yeah, okay, so every day is a weekend for us and although we declared this to be a three day weekend, Mommy had a long to-do list for her and Daddy so we napped inside alone while they worked in the yard.  They finished up most of the new side yard....

Well, the veggie garden is done but the flower garden isn't, trees and bushes need to be trimmed, grass needs to be mowed, the deck needs to be cleaned and well, you get the idea.  Anyway, they worked outside since last week was rainy and dreary and nothing much gone done inside or out.  Since the sun was finally out and we were up from our dreary day naps, we got a packaged from Phoebe, her mom and the other 14 at 15 and meowing...

One guess what I'm about to do to this...

I turn into a crazy kitty when I can bunny kick things!  I also enjoyed the little maraca...

Isabella took one of they toys and tossed it and carried it all around the house...

Can you tell we can't sit still for photos when toys are involved?  Sorry about that but we just got too excited!

Finally Friday

We're all sluggish due to the dreary weather this week so I declare a three day weekend.  That means that although Mommy wants me to help her bead right now, I don't wanna...

And if she makes me, I'm going to give her the stink eye...

What?  You're giving me the weekend off Mommy?  Really?

I need to give the stink eye more often!

Summer Smile

It's been rainy, dreary and cool so we've been doing a lot of napping lately.  Well, more than usual napping let's just say.  Anyway, despite the cooler temps, Mommy opens the windows during breaks in the rain because she thinks the fresh air will make us less sluggish.

Little did I know but we have Summer!  She's a dotee doll made by our friend BumbleVee in Canada.  I was so happy to see her I gave her a little kiss...

Summer was so surprised she fainted...

Maybe she's tired.  Okay, maybe it's me who's tired but I let her to join me in my favorite napping spot on the bed thisclose to Mommy's pillow...

Oh Summer, you're so cute! I just love you!

While I napped, Summer met Angel...

She also got to hang out with our husky doll named Sadie...

Thank you BumbleVee for sending us a little Summer!  She brought us some much needed sunshine and she put a smile on Mommy's face which we appreciate very much!

Finally Friday

We're glad this week is coming to close especially since tonight is movie night.  For some reason I'm wondering if we'll be watching 'Batman'...

Or 'Angels and Demons'...

Oh don't pout Angel.  I was just kidding.  We don't have to watch any movie.  We can listen to Meat Loaf instead...
