My little sisfur Angel turns 10 years old today!

When she first became my sisfur, she was just a wee little kitten at just three months old. Now she's a beautiful, grown up, floofy ladycat...

Who still acts like a little kitten from time to time...

We wouldn't have it any other way!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend! We're glad it's over because Mommy comes home tonight! We did enjoy our time with Daddy. I held him down on the couch most of the weekend...

He tweaked his back a few weeks ago and it keeps flaring up so it's my job to make sure he stays flat. I take my nursing duties seriously. It's a tough job but somekitty's got to do it!

It's way too easy to get my little sisfur's floof in a wad. Anyway, we'll be hanging out with Daddy all weekend while Mommy is off to California with a friend to see Adele in concert. Angel might not like my singing but Daddy does! I'm Daddy's Girl!

Tortie Tuesday

I'm good at lots of things like holding down furniture but I'm not so good at things like scratchers. I have claws and all but I just don't understand how they work. My little sisfur is so good at them that she sounds like she's popping popcorn. Today might be the day I finally figure this thing out...

I'll try it from a position I feel secure with, from the floor...

Cat Days of Summer...

We've been spoiled with sunny days, open windows and temps in the 70s while the rest of the country has been baking. This week the temps are in the mid to upper 80s so our windows are closed but we're still enjoying plenty of sunpuddles...

The shade is nice too...

Being raised by an Alaskan Husky made us weather wimps. Or maybe it's because Mommy is.

Finally Friday

Although we finished our tax work by Wednesday this week, Mommy decided it was time to do some cleaning around the house. Mainly things like putting away stuffs from their Alaska trip from a month ago and cleaning stuffs off her desk from even more months ago. Snoopervising was so exhausting that I thought I'd give her a break from making the bed today...

Pretty thoughtful of me isn't it? I'm such a sweet Tortie. I'm also sleepy and there's a nap calling my name. Thank Cod I'm already in bed!

Finally Friday!

I'm so glad it's Friday especially since Mommy is here! We were both so happy she was back home we didn't let her out of our sight. Well, someTortie may have closed her eyes a time or two thousand but I didn't. I went through some of her photos from Texas and found out that she had a good time at Southfork Ranch with J.R. and the carrot lady...

She met a real Texas longhorn steer...

In addition to us on the President's desk, our flats hung out with another kitty too...

Do you notice Bella wondering why that kitty is napping and she's not? MOL! Our mommy hung out with five kitties in Texas (a sixth one hid all the time). Every morning she was greeted by Charli watching her. Mommy thought she was the cutest little girl...

She also met beautiful 16 year old JB...

And sweet Chester...

And Chester's mom, Gaia...

And the doodalicious one, Armani...

He's so very handsome! *swoon*

We can't forget the buns outside in Mister's Garden either. She watched Ginger Sprite enjoying a snack on the patio...

She saw several other buns too. When she wasn't hanging out with J.R., the kitties or buns she was shopping. She brought us toys but she brought herself back a lot of goodies with her name on them...

They're from a store named Sharla's in downtown McKinney so she thought it was cool to have her name on things. Whatever. There may be a store with her name on it but she doesn't have a street named after her...

We can tell she had a fun time in Texas but we know she's very happy to be home with us and Daddy! We're very happy she's here too!
