I hope everyone had a safe holiday yesterday! We enjoyed a nice, relaxing day with no fireworks nearby although we could hear some in other parts of the city. They didn't bother me near as much as when Mommy put yesterday's photo prop around my neck...

It was a nice quiet day doing only the things we wanted to do. I'm glad to hear you didn't have to put up with all the loud fireworks going off.

We too had a very quiet day. It was most enjoyable. We did hear a lot of fireworks though. It was all good because the kids in the neighborhood had a great time.

We like how you showed that tinsel heart who's boss, Isabella. We're glad the 4th of July is over...but we think it may be noisy around here for the next few days. Crazy humans.
We are not big 4th of July celebraters here. Hobbes usually spends the holiday weekend under our bed and did so again this year. Poor guy. It was very loud. :(
