Thankful Thursday

Recently we won purrsonalized socks from OurSock.com for our mommy from the Kitties Blue at The Cat on my Head. Mommy just had to choose one of us to put on the socks. Guess which one of us she picked?

Yep, me! She said she picked me because she wasn't sure how Tortie colors would show up on the socks but I know the real reason is because I'm so cute she can hardly stand it...

Oh my Cod! You're on socks, Angel? This better not go to your head!

Get it? I told her it better not go to her head because it's her head on the socks! MOL! I'm so funny! Anyway, these socks are kinda cool even with Angel on them. You know, if I stare at her face intently, I see her face everywhere kinda like seeing spots after staring at a bright light...

Much thanks to the Kitties Blue and their mom too! Mommy loves her new Angel socks and will wear them a lot since it's her footwear of choice when the weather is cooler.

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday and I have absolutely nothing to say. That doesn't happen very often I know and it really has me perplexed...

Does that mean a cat's got my tongue?

I crack myself up! I cracked Mommy up too. It feels good to spread happiness so hope you're able to spread some random acts of happiness around too. This world certainly needs it.

Smile! It's Sadieday!

We're still getting back to our routines but we know today is a day to smile!  Mommy saw some funny signs in Alaska so we thought we'd share some.  After visiting two sled dog places, she said pretty much everything is peed on (although it didn't happen to her)...

This sign says "Dog Team Parking - Please scoop the poop" and it's funny because of what the dog looks like it's doing.  Hee hee...

The sled dogs had 'couches' to lay on.  This is 13 year old Martina enjoying hers...

Did you notice the paws?  Sadie was definitely a sled dog who much preferred pulling Mommy when she was on the leash instead of a whole sled!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday so I want impart my advice regarding the take your own shopping bag things.  It is nice to help the environment but when you bring them home from the store, be sure to put them somewhere safe after you unload them because the straps can provide a danger...

 My mommy nearly fell down the stairs from laughing at my demonstration of how the straps can get wrapped around your ears.   (I'd like to point out that because Mommy was laughing too hard, Daddy helped me get out of the bag - I'm a Daddy's Girl!)  Anyway, to keep you and your beans safe, please put the bags with straps away between uses!  

It was nice to have some much needed comic relief around here though courtesy of yours truly.

Tortie Tuesday

Kitties, I have to tell you something that happened this weekend. After I got done helping Mommy make a bracelet, I was just relaxing and minding my own business when I spotted something... I spotted a spot! It moved all over the wall and even came onto the carpet. It totally messed up my relaxing moment yet Mommy just kept giggling at me while I watched go everywhere...
Even my sisfur Angel spotted the spot... I didn't find this spot amusing one bit so don't know why Mommy kept giggling since I could get a neck sprain you know... I wonder if it's possible to nap with my eyes open since they seem to be stuck... Hopefully I get some relaxing in today since it is Tortie Tuesday!

Stroll with Sadie!

Happy Sadieday! It's time for a stroll with me! It's been awhile since we've gone on a stroll around our neighborhood so I thought we'd see what's up in our neck of the woods. Since I'm not sure what we'll find, I'll leave Mommy on her leash but go grab some water and let's go!
Well, whaddya know. It sure didn't take very long to find some critters in the neighborhood...
I better divert Mommy to some other trails so she doesn't decide to go chase the deers or anything... Besides, this is where I get the best pee-mail reception... The pee-mail from Shasta said it looks like fall is just around the corner... Or maybe it was just these two around the corner. I need to brush up on my Spanielish! Get it? Ha roo roo! I crack myself up sometime! I should take my act on the road! Well, at least to the sidewalk since it's time to head back home... I hope you enjoyed your stroll with me today!

Happy Sadieday! This week I was afraid I wouldn't get to go on a stroll in between lots of rain and Mommy being "too" busy. But I gave her one of those looks...

And it worked so let's get ready and go!

I knew she couldn't resist my cute face and I know she likes my cutie patootie too...

Of course she tried many times to get me to look at the camera again but there's just way too much other stuff to look at...

All our snow is gone and has been replaced by rain. We still have white outs though...

What's that Mommy? It's heads down, pencil up?

I think Mommy's work is taxing her brain because why would I want a pencil up? Oh I made another funny - taxing her brain! Get it?
