It's Tortie Tuesday so I want impart my advice regarding the take your own shopping bag things. It is nice to help the environment but when you bring them home from the store, be sure to put them somewhere safe after you unload them because the straps can provide a danger...
My mommy nearly fell down the stairs from laughing at my demonstration of how the straps can get wrapped around your ears. (I'd like to point out that because Mommy was laughing too hard, Daddy helped me get out of the bag - I'm a Daddy's Girl!) Anyway, to keep you and your beans safe, please put the bags with straps away between uses!
It was nice to have some much needed comic relief around here though courtesy of yours truly.
Hope you have a safe and Happy Tortie Tuesday!

Thanks for the tip!! Actually we didn't think of that...but it could happen!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
My mom put all the bag´s with handle´s away after shopping.
My mom too laughed a lot when I ran around with a paperbag chasing me , my dad rescued me too :)
Our shopping bags get put away somewhere where we can't get to them. Of course, my human forgets them (more than) half of the time and winds up with paper shopping bags, which she sometimes gives us to play with... after she has cut off the handles.
P.S. Happy birthday to your grandma!
This is very good advice! You may have just saved a cat from strangulation.
Laughter is the best medicine...(Happy Birthday to your Grandma!)
Glad your mommy got a good laugh :) You're too cute Isabella :)
I have lots of reusable bags but sometimes forget to use them. When I do, I put them all back into the back of my suv. Otherwise, Banjo puts the bitey on them! He doesn't like reusable bags for some reason.
Cats are funny.
Kisses Isabella and Happy Birthday to your Grandma!

Oh Isabella, fanks you for showing mommy that she can smile. We keep handles away from me as well. Xoxo. Happy Tortie Tuesday.
Sometimes a bit of laughter can be very healing. We're glad you didn't get your neck caught, though. Nicki did once, years ago, after the mom turning away for only a handful of seconds. He ended up in the basement with the thing caught around him, and we're not sure who was scared more--him or the mom! Since then she's very careful to store the bag away asap, or if it's a plastic bag (still a few around for kitty litter), to cut the handles on them.
Oh, we meant to wish your grandma a happy birthday too! We hope she has a wonderful celebration!
Happy Birthday, G'ma!!! Hope it's a good day for you!
I don't like those bags--I never remember to bring them into the store with me!!
Great advice, Isabella!
We use reusable bags all the time and Mommy makes sure that the bags are safely stored in the cupboard afterwards!

Sammy & Molly
What great advice, but I'm guessing there will be something else you get into that makes mommy laugh.
Have a purrfect day. :)
cats are just special that way aren't they?....they know exactly when to supply a bit of humour for some reason.....
If woo need more khomikhk relief, I khan help think of more things to do with khats and totes -

PeeEssWoo: Happy Gotcha Day to your LV Grandma!!!
Nice one Isabella! I have a special cupboard for my reusable bags, and I always keep a few compact nylon ones in my purse.
Sherpa the Farm cat likes to get INTO the shopping bags. You do not look happy Isabella....Happy birthday to your grandma!
My mom never remembers to take the reusable shopping bags with her when she goes to the store.
You are a busy kitty, doing public service announcements and entertaining your mom. I think you should fit a nap in there somewhere.
Good post, Isabella. Thanks for the good tip AND the laugh:) Happy Birthday to your Grandma from all of us.

You're a silly girl, but we do appreciate the warning about those straps! LOL! Keeping you in our purrs ~
OH NO!!! Isabella, that bag tried to grab you and pack you away!!! Are you OK?
Ha roo roo roo! That made our mom laugh, too! :) You don't look overly pleased with the bag grabbing you like that, though. Good thing your Dad helped you out!
Play bows,
Zim
We're all gonna SHOUT Happy Birthday to your Grandma...
Did she hear us?
The Baby always burrows into Mommy's shopping bags. She says she'll be careful with her ears, and thank you for the warning!
Cute little Isabella! We're glad your Mommy didn't fall down the stairs though...whew.
Tutu also has this crazy thing for bags...plastic bags.
Hmmm, my beans always hang the bags on the front door handle so they don't forget to put them back in the car (they're forgetful that way) so I guess we're OK on the strap thing. I like paper bags and boxes better anyway....
>^.^<
Oliver
You are very cute tho with those straps around your head - it kinda looks like a head band. he he - M always cuts the straps off everything around here cuz she's afraid it will get tangled around my neck and choke me.
You look kind of cute Isabella! The situations you manage to get yourself into! Such a silly girl. Love, Moon xoxo
Isabella those handles are very tempting and you are right about the handles they are easy to get stuck in if playing. Wishing a big happy birthday to your Las Vegas Grandma.
Aw, poor Isabella! Maybe you did that with the handles just to make your mom and dad laugh!
Isabella--how thoughtful of you to provide such fun comic relief! You are so right about those bags. Once Oliver got tangled up in the handles of a plastic grocery bag and ran around the house so freaked out. We are very careful here now.
glad your mommy did NOT fall down the stairs.
Happy Birthday to your Grandma!
I would have been laughing along with your mom! I'm glad that the comedy relief helped everyone today.
thanks for the advice, Isabella. Most of the straps on our bags are around one side of the chair... {:-D
Your mommy just did not realize you were trying to help. Not put up groceries but getting them!
Thanks for the tip! And you're very cute with that strap around your ears :)
Meowsers! Purrrfect advice for beans! Glads all your earses are okays!
Pal and Forrest
Good reminder! My poor baby Milo got trapped in a gift bag once and was so sad until I could rescue him.
