Weekend Wrap Up

We're glad it's a holiday week because our weekend was too short. We didn't even have Friday night movie night until Saturday night...

Yesterday we got our blood test results from the home vet visit last Wednesday. She said our chemistry panels, thyroid and blood cell count results are all normal. She said we look great and are healthy! Of course we knew everything would be perfect but somemommy is a worry wart so she's relieved. 

That was pretty much all our weekend excitement. Anything exciting happen in your neck of the woods?

Hard Work Pays Off

Because of all my hard work helping Mommy with tax returns, she got me an after tax season bonus...

It's a flying Neko fly!

It's supposed to be nearly indestructible since I'm known for deading flying toys within days...

Don't worry, I let my big sisfur Isabella play with it too...

I wasn't far away though...

We enjoyed playing with it all weekend so thank Cod it's Monday and we can finally get some rest.

Outtakes

I gave Mommy the perfect opportunity to get photos of me and my beautiful blue eyes but it turned into a series of outtakes instead. First she had a bad angle plus she blurred me...

Then she got distracted by my cute look and really blurred me plus cut off an ear...

I held still as long as I could while watching a birdie but again, not very good...

Well, you can kinda see my angel wings on my head but other than that, failed again...

Only my mommy would turn this opportunity into so many outtakes. I'm positive it has nothing to do with me moving no matter what she says.

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend!  Mommy and Daddy were off three days so you think they spent the entire three days with us?  Nope!  I know, unbelievable.  There were gone all day Friday so Mommy could get her ocean fix at the coast.  On Saturday they worked in the yard all day.  I snoopervised of course but it's still not the way I wanted to spend a beautiful warm, sunny day...

I thought we'd finally be able to relax and cuddle yesterday but noooo, I had to snoopervise her making beady goodies...

It'd been a really long time since we've made beady goodies and frankly, I'd forgot how much work that is.  I had to recruit Isabella to help because it was so tough...

I know we make it look easy but trust me, it's not!  It's a tough job but somekitties got to do it!  We'll try and get some rest today after our long weekend!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!  We had a weekend filled with a whole lot of nothing.  We had to help Mommy with a monster tax return Saturday and then afterwards we settled in for movie night but I'm pretty sure Isabella was really enjoying the movie...

I am amazed at how spoilt she is...

Weekend Wrap Up

Weekends go by so fast especially when I have lots to do.  This weekend I whiffed fresh air and soaked up a sunpuddle while watching the Birdie Network...

I gave my mousie a bath...

I also helped Mommy make beady goodies, held down the couch and fended off the sheet monster.  I'm glad it's Monday so I can finally relax...

Oh wait, there's tax returns to be done so no rest for this kitty!  It's a tough job but somekitty's got to do it!

Weekend Wrap Up

Phew!  What a weekend!  It started off cold and rainy but turned warm and sunny so of course we enjoyed the sunpuddles...

But, it wasn't all relaxing.  Mommy got motivated to finally make new jewelry in order to prepare for a craft show so we helped her make a pair of earrings and five memory bracelets.  Can you tell we inspired her?

All five bracelets sold already so thank Cod the craft show isn't until December!  We'll be helping her make more so keep an eye out for them!

As for how my sisfur Isabella is doing, well, she was actually awake more this weekend but I'll let Mommy fill you in on her...

Mommy here:  We started Isabella on her inhaler Friday evening since her asthma attacks happen mainly at night.  Her daddy held her while I tried to figure out the AeroKat.  I had washed it and the little flap that shows her breaths wasn't quite dry so she was patient while I got it dry enough to work.  When the puff happened on the inhaler she jerked her head back and her nose came out of the cup at the end of the AeroKat but it was put back on quickly.  She took 10 breaths of the inhaler, however, that night she had three attacks and one was a lot worse than usual.  Saturday evening's dose went better and we were prepared for her jerking her head back so it never came off her nose.  She again got 10 breaths and although she seemed more active afterward, she had two short attacks within an hour.  Unless she actually got off the bed, we didn't hear any attacks at all Saturday night and none all day yesterday.  We're hoping this is a sign it's working and the attacks will be gone soon.  We're very thankful she's so mellow and we're hoping she continues to cooperate.  We thank everyone for the purrs!  They are working!
