The last day of 2014 is here and I plan on spending the whole rest of the year napping in a sunpuddle...

Holiday Wrap Up

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!  We had a very low key holiday but did get a present from Santa - a new scratcher...

I'm still using the old scratcher because it's all broken in and in purrfect condition.  See, I can even use it while lounging on it...

Pretty cool huh?  I love, love, love scratchers!  Rumor has it my Ess will be tossed out soon because it's so well loved but I'm going to hang on to these scratchers as long as I possibly can!

It's Christmas Eve and the stockings are not hung by the chimney with care...

Uh, what else is supposed to be done but isn't?  Oh yeah, everything.  At least Angel has taken over looking for Santa...

Well, maybe not...

We may not be ready for Christmas but we are ready to enjoy some relaxing time together.  There's nothing Santa could bring that's better than that!

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a very rainy weekend so since there were no sunpuddles to enjoy, I helped Mommy make beady goodies.  I think Santa is going to bring me something extra for being such a good helper...

Mommy's gonna get coal for not being appreciative of my help...

I don't know why she complains so much.  Somekitty's got to make sure the beady goodies don't roll away...

I mean seriously, what would she do without me?

Sadie was always on Santa's good list despite all the holiday temptations...

Mommy is really behind in Christmas stuff so I thought I'd help her wrap presents...

For some reason, she was not appreciative...

I guess she didn't want me to hold the paper down so I'll hold her down...

Because she's so far behind, we realize today is the last day of the Santa Kitty Toy Hop but we're still going to participate this weekend.  It's never too late to help homeless kitties and doggies!

Don't forget to a receipt because it's a tax deduction!  Yep, we're always thinking taxes too!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday and it's darn right chilly here today so I'm laying on a towel while NOT laying on the Tortie colored countertops....

But, once again, somekitty didn't get the memo on what day it is and is flicking her floofy tail in my Tortie face...

Oh well, she can have the Tortie colored countertops.  This bed is way more comfy and warm...

Sometimes it takes awhile but I always end up enjoying my Tortie Tuesday!

Happy Birthday at the Bridge to our Sisfur Sadie!

Today, December 15th, would have been our sisfur Sadie's 14th birthday.  Even though she went to the bridge 2 1/2 years ago, we still miss her very much especially during the holidays.  She loved this time of year because she got to look at the pretty Christmas lights while on her neighborhood strolls...

And she loved presents...

What she loved most was having a warm, loving furever home to celebrate the holidays in...

So, in her honor, we're donating 50% of the proceeds of our BeadedTail shop for the entire month of December as well as $1 per comment on this post to Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon.  We know she'd be happy we're helping the dogs waiting for their loving furever homes this holiday season.  

We bet she's smiling up at the Bridge today and we hope you help spread those smiles around in your neck of the woods.  

Happy Birthday sweet Sadie!  We miss you!

Finally Friday

Normally we could give a rat's patootie what day it is but this week is different because it's been so rainy and dreary here that we've barely had any light during the day let alone sunpuddles.  The last time I had sunpuddles was over a week ago!  I didn't even fix my furs before soaking them all up...

It felt so good on my furry face...

The sunpuddles are supposed to return this weekend and I plan on enjoying them as much as I can since they'll be gone again next week.

Last week before Mommy moved my Bird TV table, I found one of the best channels ever...

Despite the rain, the reception was superb...

Tortie Tuesday

I'm going to demonstrate how I can transform my Tortilicious self into a Tortie roll.  Are you ready to be amazed?

First I lay down and tuck in my ear since rolls don't have ears...

I'm halfway there.  The hardest part is staying awake until the next move...

Voila!  A purrfect Tortie roll...

Now, since I worked so hard to transform myself, I might as well stay here awhile and enjoy it...

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope everybody had a good weekend!  Our Grandma from Vegas went home yesterday so we're catching up on our naps.  It's tiring being spoilt!  Mommy's show went well last Thursday and even though both she and Grandma from Vegas were tired and cranky, they painted a wall in our dining room on Friday.  Of course I snoopervised...

Grandma thought she'd be funny and put a piece of tape on me*.
Yeah, not funny Grandma...

To keep me out of the way from working too hard, Mommy put my Bird TV table looking out on the deck...

Hey, Mommy, this is a Bird TV table, not a 'watching it rain on a boring deck' table...

Even Isabella was not pleased with the table placement...

Anyway, after two coats of paint and even more complaining, the wall was done and all was back to normal...

Yep, normal includes a messy table and me NOT sitting on it.  It's a tough job snoopervising but somekitty's got to do it!

*The tape was folded over onto itself so no sticky part was touching any furs.  Grandma from Vegas knew better because she knew Mommy would throw a conniption fit if she actually stuck tape on me.

We love buns!

Christmas is almost here which means the new year is right around the corner.  We have a gift idea that will keep giving all through 2015 - a calendar from the buns in Mister's Garden...

Mister is a wild cottontail that lives with her family and friends in the Carrot Lady's backyard in Texas.  

Hey Angel, somebunny is watching you...

The Carrot Lady takes incredible photos of the buns which can be enjoyed every month...

The photos are so beautiful...

And will make you smile!
