Since we did a little of this and a little of that this weekend, our Monday is a little of this and a little of that too. Okay, the truth is that we did a lot of napping and not a lot of planning but anyway, let's see what we can find for today's post...
The Saturday before Christmas we got a package delivered and the mail lady brought it to our door. When Daddy went out to get it from her she said she wasn't sure if the address was right or if we had guests staying with us since she wasn't familiar with the names on the package. Daddy told her "yep, they're here, they're our cats". For some reason she giggled...
Last fall Mommy asked our friend Edi from Memories for Life if she could put a photo of a scanned leaf onto a wooden back so we could hang it on the wall. Edi can do anything so of course she could! When she printed out our leaf though she told Mommy it must have been scanned in jumbo size so asked for the actual measurement of the leaf. We told her it was actual size, we really do have 9 1/2 inch leaves here in Oregon! Guess leaves aren't that big in Iowa! Anyway, they turned out great...
We made our Grandma from Las Vegas a necklace for Christmas with a pendant personalized by Edi with Grandma's dog Samy on it. Samy went to the Bridge earlier this year so we're told the necklace made grown people cry but in a good way. Now that Christmas is over, it's safe to show it here...
When Grandma saw the back she said "his name is even spelled with one "m" like we spelled it! Yep, she was totally caught off guard with this surprise gift!
Okay, all this mishmash wore us out...
