Weekend Wrap Up

We know that many people are melting in summer heat but here it's been purrfect open window weather...

Also purrfect napping with my sisfur weather...

The nap would be more purrfect if somemommy would stop giggling about us popping a wheelie in our bed. She's weird.

We're having another staycation this week with both peeps home so our posts might be sparse since we're still working on the being present thing. Do you have any plans for this week?

Tortie Tuesday

Even though the days are hotter than halibut here, the nights are cool so we get fresh air until about 9am when somemommy shuts everything up. I make sure I get plenty of fresh air (and sunpuddles) on my Tortie tummy before then...

Judging from Mommy's squees, my floofy sisfur isn't the only kitty who's so cute she can hardly stand it. Just sayin.

Is it possible to wish for fall weather without summer going by any quicker?

Happy Earth Day!

We're ending a wonderfully relaxing week celebrating Earth Day. All week we've enjoyed sunpuddles, fresh air and the sound of birdies from open windows...

It's been so glorious. If I was on a mountaintop I'd tell the world:

Well, anyway, I am happy this Earth Day for our beautiful planet and all it has to offer. I'm happy to have enjoyed it this week with Mommy home and away from the computer. I hope you've enjoyed your week too!

Last Day of March!

Tomorrow is April which means tax season is almost over! Yay! The rain has stopped too so I'm enjoying sunpuddles...

The sun feels so good on my face...

We're going to enjoy a long weekend again while Mommy wraps up tax returns and sneaks in fresh air whenever she can. We'll be back on Monday!

We've been having the hots this week which means windows close up early. I savor my morning whiffs as the sun comes up...

Nothing better than cool morning air to get the day started right. After breakfast of course!

Finally Friday

Mommy worked more this week than she has since last tax season and it wore me out!  To compensate for my extra help, she let me have whiffs of fresh air...

It's still a little chilly out but it smelled so good I didn't care...

Window whiffin' is way more fun than Quickbooks and tax returns...

I think I'm going to need this kind of compensation every.single.day.  Just sayin.

This last blast of summer weather is providing opportunities for fresh air sniffin'...

And sisfur sniffin' too...

We're going to enjoy open windows as long as we can!  Rain is scheduled to return this weekend.  Phooey.

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a wonderful weekend!  We had a fairly warm, very sunny weekend and Mommy even opened the window for me without complaining having to put on a jacket...

As always, I did have to work to do.  I helped pick the new tile and paint colors for the guest bath...

I realized after I picked the tile colors that it means a noisy stranger will be in our house for longer than we want him to be he estimates he'll be here.  Anyway, as with most colors in our house, they are sorta kitty colored...

Isabella was lobbying for Tortie colored walls but that won't happen...

After a nice long weekend, I wrapped it up by helping my sisfur stay warm by snuggling with her on the couch...

It's a tough job around here sometimes but somekitty's got to do it!

Wordless Wednesday - Heating the Outside

Happy Earth Day!

It's Earth Day so we're hanging out discussing the things we love about Earth including sunshine, fresh air and of course trees and bushes for birdies to hang out on...

We also love gravity which has an extra strong pull on us kitties since we're so close to the ground.  But that's okay, I don't fight it...

It's important we all do our part in keeping our planet beautiful.  We try our best to reduce, reuse and recycle things especially boxes...

Weekend Wrap Up

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing but too short weekend.  I snoopervised Daddy mowing the yard...

I love the smell of fresh cut grass!

I also helped Mommy make beady goodies even though she never appreciates my help...

It's not my fault she keeps beads out when I'm trying to clean things off with my tail.  Sheesh!

Anyway, we hope your weekend was a nice one too!

Okay, technically only one paw is out and even then it's not really out but it's as close as this indoor kitty will ever get! Either way I will most certainly enjoy my day! Hope you do too!

There's nothing better than open windows and smelling the fresh air...

and when I get done looking out one window I can mosey on down...

and see if there's anything out this window to watch...

if so, I'll sit awhile and check things out...

then move on when the time is right...

and check out what's happening out this window...

before turning around...

and starting the process all over again.
