We're Quiet but We're Fine

We're enjoying the last bit of summer laying in sunpuddles...

And being discombobulated when Daddy is on the wrong side of the window doing yardwork...

September is just around the corner but before then we have one last week of August to enjoy! Hope you enjoy it too!

WatchCat on Duty

I'm always on alert to what's going on outside our house.  I watch for birdies and introoder cats but I also watch Daddy when he goes to the mailbox...

Then I wait patiently for him to come back...

I know he appreciates my dutiful watching to make sure he always comes home safely.  It's a tough job being a WatchCat but somekitty's got to do it.

In Our Neck of the Woods

Between the sunpuddles then rain then sunpuddles then rain then...you get the idea, we've been enjoying cooler weather with open windows which means more Birdie TV...

Angel flattens out to watch TV flat to help the reception...

If that doesn't work, Daddy makes sure the reception is as good as it can be...

Something else we're enjoying is having our Grandpa from Kansas here!  He arrived yesterday and rumor has it that Mommy and Daddy will be going somewhere next week so we're going to take a blogcation until October 9th.  We may have some posts before that but we're not positive.  We'll miss everyone and hope you have a great start to October!

Weekend Wrap Up

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing but too short weekend.  I snoopervised Daddy mowing the yard...

I love the smell of fresh cut grass!

I also helped Mommy make beady goodies even though she never appreciates my help...

It's not my fault she keeps beads out when I'm trying to clean things off with my tail.  Sheesh!

Anyway, we hope your weekend was a nice one too!

Fall Fun!

One of the fun things about fall is watching Daddy use the leaf blower on the deck...

I wish I could get out there and help him...

Especially when the leaves come flying by really fast!

I wonder if Daddy is having as much fun as I am.
