Demonstration

I've put a request in with Santa Claws for a new scratcher for Christmas. We both use it daily and I'll show you how. It's against the cedar chest at the foot of the bed to help Isabella get up and down on the bed since someTorties can't jump. She goes up and down like this...

Then since it's a scratcher she often stops to scratch like this...

She's a way more polite scratcher than I am. I'm such a wild scratcher I almost pop a wheelie on this thing!

Anyway, I hope Santa brings us a new scratcher. A new one will help me do the popcorn popping sound that Mommy loves in the middle of the night. She loves it so much she wakes up every time to hear it!

Santa's Helper

We had a whirlwind weekend doing last minute Christmas stuff to get in the mail today. Mommy was busy making handmade presents - some beady, some involving glue! For some reason I didn't get to help with the glue projects but I did get to help with the beady ones...

Hey, aren't these supposed to be a surprise?

I better make sure they remain a surprise so I'll just lay right here...

It's a tough job being Santa's helper but somekitty's got to do it!

Twas the Sadieday Before Christmas...

Sadie was always on Santa's good list despite all the holiday temptations...

Because how could Santa resist her sweet face!

Mommy is really behind in Christmas stuff so I thought I'd help her wrap presents...

For some reason, she was not appreciative...

I guess she didn't want me to hold the paper down so I'll hold her down...

Yep, this is way better...

Because she's so far behind, we realize today is the last day of the Santa Kitty Toy Hop but we're still going to participate this weekend.  It's never too late to help homeless kitties and doggies!

Don't forget to a receipt because it's a tax deduction!  Yep, we're always thinking taxes too!

Happy Sadieday!  Christmas is almost here and although Sadie left for the Bridge six months ago today we still feel her with us especially since she loved Christmas so much.  As we were looking through photos of her we found two that were so typical Sadie we thought we'd share with you.  This photo was taken on December 20, 2009...

She was caught snooping on the same day two years apart!  Santa always brought her lots of presents since she was such a good girl and of course Santa couldn't resist her sweet face...

Monday Mischief

Hey efurryone! You won't believe what happened! Somebuddy came in the night when we were all sound asleep and put our Christmas presents and tree skirt into a pile...
It's kinda skeery thinking that somebuddy did this and we didn't even know it was happening! We know that Santa Claws knows we didn't do it...
It is a mess but I want to point out that even though my nip jelly bean was at the scene of the crime, I have no idea who did this Mommy...
