What They Really Meant Was...

You know the saying "ants in your pants" which means someone is unable to sit still.  Well, I think what they really meant was "cats in your pants" because my sisfur Angel moves a lot.  I'll show you what I mean - see her in the background...

Now look where she is...

She's already in another spot and it's only been a matter of seconds...

Angel, seriously, do you have to pace so much?  Can't you sit in one spot for a long time like I do?

Nope, she can't.

Maybe that's how she sees all the best Bird TV channels...

Whatever the reason, she is all over the place all the time and when she does sleep, Mommy won't make a peep for fear of waking her up again!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  It's my favorite day of the week!  It's also the day that I get a chance to point out some things that seemed to get missed around here.  My little sisfur is always touting how she's so much help with everything, blah, blah, blah.  Well, I help out around here too!  For instance, Daddy cannot do Sudoku in the paper without me...

No Daddy, that number doesn't go there!

Here, let me help you write the correct number.

Sometimes I just wonder what in the world he'd do without me.

It's That Time of Year...

Okay, I can tell something is different in the world this week but I just can't quite put my paw on what it is...

Oh I know what it is!  It's Mommy's first full week of tax season!

We don't like this time of year when Mommy switches from being a CPA (Cat's Purrsonal Assistant) to a CPA that works with taxes.  We'll do our best to keep her from slacking on our blog but we can't make promises.  We hope April 15th gets here soon!

Sadieday Traditions

Happy Sadieday!  We'd like to thank everybuddy for the comments on last week's Sadieday post.  We've decided to continue having positive, smile inducing posts on Sadieday as a way to honor our sisfur Sadie.  Another tradition that Mommy kept up was the New Year's Day stroll which is something that Sadie always loved to do...

Mommy went on a hike in the forest with three friends on a beautiful New Year's Day...

She was a little somber to be on a stroll without Sadie but enjoyed the time with her friends even though she cried for a bit after seeing a dog that looked like Sadie.  Her friends know how she is!  Anyway, she's glad she carried on the tradition and knows that Sadie was walking with her in spirit with a smile on her face...

We hope you carry on the tradition of getting out and enjoying an adventure in your neck of the woods!  And as always, be sure to spread smiles around on Sadieday and always!

Behind the Scenes

If you're a fan of our BeadedTail page on Facebook you know that we often give a sneak peak of what's hanging from the bead box.  These are quick photos of beady goodies we just finished.  But what you may not know is all the help that I provide getting these "quick" photos ready.  First I have to get into position...

Then once Mommy hangs them on the bead box, I have to keep them from dangling so they aren't blurry...

This isn't as easy as it seems...

Finally.  I think they are holding still...

Happy New Year!

Welcome to the first day of 2013!  I know it's going to be a good year since it starts on Tortie Tuesday!  So, how'd you ring in the New Year?  My little sisfur celebrated with some silvervine from our Malaysian furiends, The Furries of Whisppy.  It made her very crazypants...

My night was way more subdued holding Daddy down while watching movies although I must admit, I didn't make it up until midnight...

That's okay, I'm up now and going to enjoy Tortie Tuesday and the start of a brand new year!

New Years Eve!

The last day of 2012 is here.  It sure came a lot faster than we expected!  We're not going to waste time making silly resolutions but instead we're going to look at 2013 as the year to either idly sit back and view things in the same ole manner and not take any action...

Or to leap on opportunities with so much quickness that you scare your mommy achieve something fun and satisfying...

We have plans to leap on opportunities and maybe even create a few ourselves. We know it'll scare our mommy be a very rewarding and fulfilling New Year!

Sadieday Wishes

Happy Sadieday!  It's the last Sadieday of 2012 and while our reflections of the year include sadness and heartbreak such as losing our sweet sisfur Sadie, we have decided to not dwell on the bad but to look at the good.  For instance, we were blessed to share our lives with Sadie and her special spirit...

She taught us that every day is to be appreciated and anticipated...

And that there are adventures down every path you take...

And of course she taught us to be happy and show it with a smile...

Our wish for you in the New Year is that you find your own joy, adventure and happiness and be sure to smile every day!  As this past year has taught us, we never know what tomorrow will bring so appreciate every single moment!

Thankful for Santa and So Much More...

Santa Claws was very good to us this year!  We got toys, treats, crinkly paper, bags and new stinky goodness dishes for me and my sisfur...

Wonder why Santa didn't bring me a birdie though...

Mommy got nice presents from her Secret Santa too!  Her BBArtisans teammate LeAnn was her Secret Santa this year and sent her Chai tea (which Mommy loves!) and a very cute kitty oven mitt which was already put to use when Mommy made cookies...

Since we're not allowed on the counters when baking or cooking is going on, I'll just have to wait to get a closer look at the oven mitt...

Okay, I waited long enough, let me just pull it a little closer...

We're very thankful for everything we received this year!  Of course we're most thankful for having a warm house filled with love and foods and also all our friends from around the world!  We appreciate all of you!
