Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve on Tortie Tuesday!   We're still a few hours from opening our presents from Santa but I helped Mommy open her present from her BBArtisans team Secret Santa Judy from MisterPenQuin.  She got a pretty little notebook, some lotion to help her smell nice and a box of chocolates...

Hey, I think that bow is moving!

There it went again!  That bow is asking for a whappin!

Mommy took it away before I could give that bow the what for.  She's such a party pooper!

Anyway, we hope you have a wonderful Christmas Eve!  We hope your heart is filled with love and joy and your stocking is filled with goodies!

Thankful for Santa and So Much More...

Santa Claws was very good to us this year!  We got toys, treats, crinkly paper, bags and new stinky goodness dishes for me and my sisfur...

Wonder why Santa didn't bring me a birdie though...

Mommy got nice presents from her Secret Santa too!  Her BBArtisans teammate LeAnn was her Secret Santa this year and sent her Chai tea (which Mommy loves!) and a very cute kitty oven mitt which was already put to use when Mommy made cookies...

Since we're not allowed on the counters when baking or cooking is going on, I'll just have to wait to get a closer look at the oven mitt...

Okay, I waited long enough, let me just pull it a little closer...

We're very thankful for everything we received this year!  Of course we're most thankful for having a warm house filled with love and foods and also all our friends from around the world!  We appreciate all of you!

We hope you're filled with gratitude too!

Happy Final Sadieday of 2011!

What better way to end the year than on Sadieday! Talk about going out with a bang! Before I head out for a stroll, I wanted to show the gifts that Mommy got from Lisa, her other Secret Santa from her Etsy Angels team. The first things she opened were soaps. I don't like soaps since they mean a bath but Mommy loves handmade soap so she liked them and they are her favorite scents...
The next gift was inspired by me! You know how I know? It's my initial...
Yeah, okay, so it's Mommy's initial too. It's a very pretty necklace and then Mommy got all leaky again when she opened the last present... Isn't it gorgeous? Notice who has top billing! Me! My and my sisfurs names all show up when Mommy wears it so she absolutely loves it. Isabella thinks it's the perfect accessory for a New Years Eve party... I bet she doesn't even stay awake until midnight. Anyway, thank you so much for the gifts Lisa!
Now it's time to end the year with a stroll! Maybe Mommy will let me run through a mud puddle if I promise not to run through any more the rest of the year! Get it? Ha roo roo!
No puddles but offroading is fun too! I wish you many smiles and lots of strolls in the New Year!

Thankful Thursday

Our mommy participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange with her Blogging Business Artisan teammates and she got the most purrfect gift from her Secret Santa Jenny - a drawing of us! Mommy first opened the present and saw a Tortie and thought, hmmm, that looks like Isabella and she's even wearing an "I" on her collar. Then she opened it all up and got leaky when she saw this... Of course we think it's gorgeous since it's of us! Jenny also got her a purple tea caddy since Mommy drinks a lot of tea and she loves the color purple...
Now she can take tea with her wherever she goes!
Just to let you know, we tested the clasp thingy and it's good and strong...
