Wordless Wednesday - From the Archives

Finally Friday

While we're glad it's Friday, somemommy isn't. It's because she only has this weekend to get all the Christmas presents bought and some that are beady goodies made, packaged and mailed plus our Christmas cards she ordered (late) may not arrive until Monday. She gets zero sympathy from us because we're not the ones who spent a week in Disneyland. Anyway, because she's been busy this week we're going to do a flashback to a whole couple of weeks ago when I was snoopervising Daddy clean off the deck...

I know it looks like a boring job but it's pretty fun when he comes across a leaf and it goes flying...

If only I was out there I'd catch those suckers...

I'm pretty sure I enjoy this job way more than Daddy does...

Anyway, since she'll be running around this weekend, we plan on relaxing and getting ready for Santa Claws to visit soon. What do you have planned for this weekend?

Weekend Update

We hope your New Year is off to a good start! Of course we didn't make it up until midnight but the fireworks in the neighborhood let us know when it officially became 2017. Other than that, our weekend started off Friday night with me helping Daddy hook something up to his new TV...

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy went to the coast for a fish dinner (no, we didn't get any) and a drive along the ocean with views like this...

Yesterday Daddy improved the reception on Birdie TV...

We held down the furniture the rest of the day while Mommy worked on Christmas New Years presents for her friends. They again involve glue and other things we can't help with. It's no wonder they're so late. We're looking forward to both Mommy and Daddy being home today and a short first week of 2017. We'll take all the short weeks we can get since tax season is looming. *sigh*

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a rainy weekend so it would've been nice to nap the days away but we're working kitties so are always on call.  Isabella was in charge of helping Daddy make a journal for Mommy's shop...

I got the exciting job of helping Mommy with her Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification stuff. I pulled double duty and watched for birdies at the same time...

But it went on for hours so I took that time to do some deep thinking about other projects on our agenda...

I've learned to multi-task very well!  It's a tough job but somekitty's got to do it!

It's Tortie Tuesday, the bestest day of the week!  I may have mentioned once or twice that I'm a Daddy's girl but I wanted to show you just how I have him wrapped around my paw.  Are you ready?

It's Tortie Tuesday!  It's my favorite day of the week!  It's also the day that I get a chance to point out some things that seemed to get missed around here.  My little sisfur is always touting how she's so much help with everything, blah, blah, blah.  Well, I help out around here too!  For instance, Daddy cannot do Sudoku in the paper without me...

It's finals week at school for my Daddy so since I'm Daddy's Girl, I've been helping him write his final programs...
I've helped him write programs in HTML, C#, Java, and Oracle but I think I'm going to work on my own program now, it's called ZZZZZZ...

It's Tortie Tuesday already? Uh oh! I wasn't ready!

It's been busy around here with tax season kicking off for Mommy and with school starting again for Daddy. How's a Tortie supposed to stay caught up with all that, get my posts done and get naps in too? I'm going to do my best to keep things in line around here for the next 3 1/2 months but if we miss a comment or two, it's not MY fault!

It's Tortie Tuesday and today I'm back at my tutor duties because Daddy started school again yesterday. I have to make sure I read up on everything...

and point out the important parts...

so that I make sure he gets straight A's again this semester. It's hard work but some kitty has to do it!

Education is very important so never stop learning!

PeeS: I just want to let you know that Sadie appreciated all the concern yesterday and that she says she won't ever go on a walk by herself again! And Daddy wanted everyone to know that he didn't mean to leave the gate open and he'll never do that again!

It's Tortie Tuesday! Lately it seems that all I do around here is help out everyone and today is no exception. After helping Daddy with his finals last week, I'm now helping him get his "honey you'd better do" list done. I'm helping him hang a shelf and making sure he doesn't get it crooked. You notice that I'm staying out of the box behind me since this is work time and I take my job very seriously. Box time comes when the job is done.

Uh oh, I think I hear something going near my box...

No one would dare touch a hard working Tortie's box would they?

Guess all work and no play means Angel takes your box away.

It's Tortie Tuesday! Today is the last day of my Daddy's finals at school so I've been busy helping him study.

I'm helping him write his final computer programs too but this mouse just doesn't work like it should.

It's impawtant I proofread the work before it's turned in so that Daddy can keep up his straight A's.

School work is exhausting!

Welcome to Tortie Tuesday! Today I thought I'd show you my morning routine with my daddy. He opens the newspaper up, I hold it down and then I help him do the sudoku puzzle. It's hard to do puzzles upside down but I still help him every day and I know he appreciates it.

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday and today's lesson is to never stop learning. There's always something new to learn whether it's where the treats are kept, where are the best sunbeams to nap in or even something as fun as algebra.

Okay, maybe algebra itself isn't fun but I've learned that if I sit on Daddy's notebook while he's doing homework I get lots of attention! See, learning new things has its rewards!
