Monday Mayhem...Sort Of

We're pretty much always happy and lovey dovey around here but we thought we'd show you what happens when someTortie turns crazypants.  She gets on a higher level and tries to be intimidating...

Then a stare down begins...

If I take my eye off her, she attempts to do smacky paw...

Of course that results in an attempted retaliation smacky paw...

Before any paws can be smacked, Mommy always breaks it up.  She's such a spoil sport!  She worries that somekitty will get hurt or someTortie will fall off the cat tree because she is missing the graceful kitty gene.  Whatever the reason, we very rarely do smacky paws where we actually smack anything.  At least not when Mommy's around!

Happy Sadieday and Mother's Day Too!

We're so glad it's Sadieday although it's very bittersweet for our Mommy.  She's been missing Sadie like crazy lately so she's not gonna be much help to us with this post since her eyes get leaky.  Because of that, we're just going to post a photo of Sadie doing what she loved to do - stroll and smile...

We do hope you keep a smile on your face so others will smile too!

Sadieday Fiesta!

Hola Amigos!  Since it's the Sadieday before Cinco de Mayo we thought we'd start the party today!  Sadie would approve since she sure loved a party...

Wasn't she cute in a sombrero?  I'm pretty cute in a purrito too...

As we celebrate Cinco de Mayo it's good to remember that no matter where someone is from, we're all the same inside and we all appreciate a friendly smile!  Be sure to spread lots of smiles today and you just might make someone's day!  Ole!

The Tale Behind the Tail

I know that my post yesterday was as cute as can be so I thought I'd show you what led up to that particular pose.  I always enjoy some cat tree time in the mornings and since I can get pretty crazypants on it I start with getting my nails ready for grippin'...

I think I'll start up at the higher bunk...

The anticipation is building...

As Mommy always says, I'm so cute she can hardly stand it!  I have to agree...

Zuke's Treats for Cats - Review and Giveaway

It's no secret, we love treats but Mommy is pretty picky about what treats we can have.  We just want yummy treats but she wants them to be good for us too.  We've had lots of treats that taste good at first but after the first or second day we turn our nose up at them.  Okay, we're picky too!  When we heard that Zuke's has kitty treats we were excited to try them...

They're called G-Zees and they come in two yummy flavors - Tasty Turkey and the one we tried, Savory Salmon...

Mommy liked the fact that they were good for us too and made in the USA.  Zuke's also donates a portion of every sale to The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund which we all love.  G-Zees are grain free + glucosamine and cranberries to help support joint and urinary tract heath.  They're also shaped like Zees - get it?

Our samples of the treats from Zuke's didn't arrive in time for this review so Mommy bought ours at Petco for $4.99.  They didn't carry the Tasty Turkey flavor so we can't comment on how those tasted but we loved the Savory Salmon ones...

Actually, we didn't want to stop eating them...

It's Sadieday!

We're so happy it's Sadieday because not only is both Mommy and Daddy home to cater to our every need but the noisy strangers aren't here working on the human litter box!  We're hoping they'll be done next week since they really mess up our weekly routines but one thing they don't mess up is our Sadieday routine which is movie night!  Last Sadieday Daddy was on call at work so we shared Mommy's lap while sleeping through watching Pretty Woman (again)...

Sadie enjoyed movie night too but she spent most of the night watching Mommy...

That look always got her scritches.  She had those puppy dog eyes down pat!

Celebrating Green

Since Earth Day was Monday, I've been noticing how much I love green.  It's easier to appreciate the green outside when the windows are open more often...

And of course I always appreciate some Green(ies) inside too...
