Finally Friday

It's finally Friday and the remodel is finally over...

Well, at least the noisy stranger is finally done. He finished yesterday afternoon. Who knew it'd take all week to do a tiny backsplash and install the faucet! As you can see, there are still missing items such as a mirror...

It'll be up later along with other things including the door. Yes, the noisy stranger forgot to put the door back on! Makes it easier for us kitties to go in but guests probably won't like it too much. Anyway, we're all glad it's finally over. 

Since we take weekends off, we want to be sure and wish the moms of kids with and without fur a Happy Mother's Day!

Sending extra special Mother's Day wishes to our Grandma in Vegas! She had surgery last Friday but is recovering well. Our Aunt Dolly is a good little nurse!

Happy Sadieday and Mother's Day Too!

We're so glad it's Sadieday although it's very bittersweet for our Mommy.  She's been missing Sadie like crazy lately so she's not gonna be much help to us with this post since her eyes get leaky.  Because of that, we're just going to post a photo of Sadie doing what she loved to do - stroll and smile...

We do hope you keep a smile on your face so others will smile too!

It's Sadieday but No Stroll Today...

Yay it's Sadieday, my favorite day of the week!  Usually I'd be getting ready for a stroll today but I'm under orders from the v-e-t to not go strolling for awhile because I can't wear a collar due to the stitches on my neck.  He's a party pooper.  To get my mind off strolling, Mommy took me outside to enjoy some sunlight on my furs.  She wanted me to lay on a rug so I didn't get the stitches on my side dirty.  Well, I got close...

It's not my fault if I get dirty anyway - she's the one who hasn't cleaned the deck yet this spring...

She tried again later and I at least got ON the rug this time...

But just as a pit stop to some exploring...

It's Sadieday so I get to do as I please!

Thanks to everybuddy for the continued concern and well wishes.  I'm getting better each day.  On Thursday I started scratching my neck but I didn't snag any stitches like Mommy thought I would.  I've left the stitches on my side alone - so far.  As long as the treats keep coming, I'll be on my best behavior and the treats have certainly been coming! Mommy has made me rice and ham every day and even Daddy let me have some vanilla ice cream and he NEVER shares his ice cream!  I'm going to milk this as long as I can!

I hope you get out and enjoy a stroll for me this Sadieday!

Happy Mother's Day!

We wanted to do something special for our mommy this Mother's Day so we participated in a covert operation with our grandma in Las Vegas. We asked her to get a card for us and mail it to our mommy so she'd be surprised when it arrived. This is the card we got for her...
Pretty cute huh? All three of us even signed the card (with help from Grandma)...
We even put hugs and kisses in it so we'll be getting lots of treats for that!
Angel is in charge of getting Mommy a present so she's working on it right now...

We know Mommy will love a big ol' freshly caught fly!
