Weekend Wrap Up

We had a sunny weekend so I got open windows plus I got treats again!
It'd been so long I forgot how good they are! Isabella got some too even though she laid on Mommy's pillow which drives her batty...
Because it was so nice out, Mommy and Daddy went to her happy place for the first time since July...
They haven't gone because Lexi couldn't be left alone in her kennel that long and she gets car sick so can't go with them. Now that she's 6 months old, she can be finally be left alone long enough so Mommy can once again find heart rocks...
And even see baby seals on the rocks...
We all had a great weekend and now look forward to Thanksgiving soon. The rain will return by Wednesday so I'll be sure to get plenty of window whiffs before then!

How was your weekend?

Hope you have a fabulous day!

Tortie Taste Test

When I woke up from my nap, Mommy asked me if I wanted to taste test Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon Grain Free treats from Chewy.com. Are you kidding? I sure do!
These treats are made in the USA with real chicken and salmon - no by-product meals, no corn, wheat or soy and no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. They smell good too!
The Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon treats are also soft and in a fairly small size which works for me since I don't chew my foods...
My verdict is these treats are lip smacking good!
In case you're wondering, my little sisfur Angel gave the Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon treats four paws up too...
We both still liked them after a week which is the real test since we've been known to like something one day but turn our nose up at it the next. That's our prerogative - we're cats.

Thank you Chewy.com for giving us the opportunity to review these yummy treats! If you haven't ordered from Chewy.com yet, we hope you check them out when you need foods, treats, litter or toys delivered right to your door! They even have auto delivery and free delivery on all orders over $49!

Do you like Blue Wilderness treats?

We hope you have a treat filled day!

Tortie Treats Day

Since Mommy went and got the flu last month, she totally forgot that we had treats from Chewy.com for us to review. I know, totally unacceptable. Oh well, better late than never so what better for me to do on Tortie Tuesday Treats Day than to review the Halo Healthsome Real Chicken treats all by myself...
What Mommy? I have to share with my sisfur? But she's not a Tortie! Oh alright.
ANGEL - Get your floofy patootie up here pronto!
Didn't take her long to show up and begin munching on the yummy treats...
Hey, why does she get more than me?
It is Tortie Tuesday Treats Day so can I have a little more? Pretty please with nip on it?
Mommy is such a push over...
Oops, sorry Mommy. I didn't mean to say that in my outside voice...
The results of our review is that we both give the Halo Healthsome Real Chicken treats four paws up! We even liked them after the initial testing which is the true test since we usually sometimes like something at first but won't eat them again. We continued to like these treats after several days which is a sign of them being paw licking good...

Waiting...

Mommy finally comes home today so we're not going to take our eyes off the door...
Hope she gets here before naptime!
We enjoyed our time with Daddy but we sure missed Mommy!  She's the only one we can wake up at night for treats!

We hope you get lots of treats today!

Tortie Treats Day

We were asked by the nice folks at Chewy.com if we'd like to try some treats and being the wonderful Tortie that I am, I said yes!  We received some Orijen Regional Red Freeze-Dried Cat Treats...
I let my little sisfur try these treats out too and she went right to the taste test while I gave the treats a more thorough inspection first...
The Orijen Regional Red Freeze-Dried Cat Treats are made with 100% ranch raised bison, wild boar and lamb freeze dried to lock in the natural goodness.  They are grain free too so your humans can have peace of mind letting you have one or two or twenty.  Let me tell you, there's a lot of goodness in here...
As if the fact that Angel's face hasn't left her bowl wasn't enough, I can say that these treats get four paws up from us!  Can I have a little more?
Since I don't chew my food, Mommy was always concerned with me having freeze dried foods but she was able to break them up into smaller pieces for me so she can stop worrying.
Many thanks to Chewy.com for letting us try these yummy treats!  Be sure to check out these treats and everything on their site.  Free delivery on orders over $49!

Have you tried freeze dried food or treats before?

Have a treat filled day!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope your weekend was a good one.  We did a whole lotta nothing on Sadieday but yesterday was a whirlwind of beadyness!  It got so crazy I had to take matters in my own paws to slow things down by sitting on the bead box then ignoring Mommy's requests to get down...
I even considered making a distraction by swinging from the chandelier...
Treats?  Did you say treats Mommy?
She always knows my weaknesses!  Oh well, the bead box wasn't all that comfortable anyway.

Hope you're comfy today!

An Angel Knows Her Halo

Last month we were contacted by the nice folks at Chewy.com if we'd like to review some Halo Healthsome kitty treats and of course we did!  Since I'm an Angel, I know all about Halos so it seemed only right that I tried it first.  Hey, why is the bag sealed?
This is more like it...
We tried the Real Chicken Cat treats but it also comes in a Seafood Combo flavor too.  The Chicken kind has a little nip in it plus pumpkin and other stuffs that your beans can read about here.  Of course I let Isabella try some too...
Is it my fault she eats too slow?
Don't worry about her, she gets plenty to eat got more...
We both loved the treats and give them four paws up!
As with everything we may change our minds in a week or so just to frustrate Mommy but for now we do love these treats.

Chewy.com has a whole line of Halo products you can find by clicking here.  If you haven't tried delivery from Chewy.com you might want to give them a try because it's free delivery on orders of $49 and it can be automated so you never run out of food, treats or kitty litter!

We hope your day is filled with treats!

Zuke's Treats for Cats - Review and Giveaway

It's no secret, we love treats but Mommy is pretty picky about what treats we can have.  We just want yummy treats but she wants them to be good for us too.  We've had lots of treats that taste good at first but after the first or second day we turn our nose up at them.  Okay, we're picky too!  When we heard that Zuke's has kitty treats we were excited to try them...

They're called G-Zees and they come in two yummy flavors - Tasty Turkey and the one we tried, Savory Salmon...

Mommy liked the fact that they were good for us too and made in the USA.  Zuke's also donates a portion of every sale to The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund which we all love.  G-Zees are grain free + glucosamine and cranberries to help support joint and urinary tract heath.  They're also shaped like Zees - get it?

Our samples of the treats from Zuke's didn't arrive in time for this review so Mommy bought ours at Petco for $4.99.  They didn't carry the Tasty Turkey flavor so we can't comment on how those tasted but we loved the Savory Salmon ones...

Actually, we didn't want to stop eating them...

Now for the good stuff!  Zuke's is letting us give one winner two bags of G-Zees, one of each flavor so you can see how yummy they are yourself!

The giveaway is open to U.S. residents age 18 and older only (sorry to our international friends).  Here's your chance to win:
1)  MUST leave a comment you want to enter the giveaway
2) MUST like Zuke's Facebook page
3) Optional:  Follow Zuke's on Twitter
4) Optional: Like BeadedTail on Facebook

Celebrating Green

Since Earth Day was Monday, I've been noticing how much I love green.  It's easier to appreciate the green outside when the windows are open more often...

And of course I always appreciate some Green(ies) inside too...

Hope you have plenty of green to celebrate in your neck of the woods too!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday, my favorite day of the week!  Since it is such a great day and I've been doing so well on my d-i-e-t, Mommy said I can have an extra treat today...
Trouble is she put it so far away that I'd have to actually move to get it.  I wonder if I can bring it closer to me with my mind...
One good thing about being on a d-i-e-t is that my hearing has gotten way better.  I still can't hear a delivery truck in the cul-de-sac but I can hear the slightest sound of a can of stinky goodness being opened so I never miss a meal!  I have lost .4 lbs so am down to a svelte 12.8 lbs.  I'm looking and feeling good!

Hope you feel good this Tortie Tuesday too!

Trick or Treat?

This big ol' bowl will be filled with treats for the little brats goblins that ring our doorbell and scare my little sisfur on Halloween...
You'd think that if a whole bowl of treats can go to other people's kids then surely our bowls would be filled with treats too but nope, last week the evil v-e-t said since I gained a lousy 1/2 lb in six months I have to go on a diet...
Diet?  That four letter word isn't allowed in our house!  Neither are empty bowls!
Since we're fed the same but Angel is a grazer and I clean my bowl, she's on a diet by default but she doesn't realize it until 2am which is when she's been waking Mommy up for treats.  I don't know who's grumpier about all this - us or Mommy!  Oh what I wouldn't give for one of those birdies right now!
Does anyone have any suggestions how to put one cat on a dreaded diet while the other isn't?  Our crabby Mommy would appreciate it!

Hope your bowl isn't empty today!
