Weekend Wrap Up

We had a sunny weekend so I got open windows plus I got treats again!
It'd been so long I forgot how good they are! Isabella got some too even though she laid on Mommy's pillow which drives her batty...
Because it was so nice out, Mommy and Daddy went to her happy place for the first time since July...
They haven't gone because Lexi couldn't be left alone in her kennel that long and she gets car sick so can't go with them. Now that she's 6 months old, she can be finally be left alone long enough so Mommy can once again find heart rocks...
And even see baby seals on the rocks...
We all had a great weekend and now look forward to Thanksgiving soon. The rain will return by Wednesday so I'll be sure to get plenty of window whiffs before then!

How was your weekend?

Hope you have a fabulous day!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a weekend filled with many things to be thankful for! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and lots of cuddles, naps and whipped cream throughout! We were left home alone for a few hours when Mommy and Daddy went to her happy place on the coast...
They saw whales and this time they saw feral kitties too...
There were two black feral kitties with very shiny furs that were clearly being taken care of by someone because of all the cans of food plus more dry food scattered around. They had a really nice view too...
Of course Mommy will now have to check on them every time she goes over there. She's a worry wart. Anyway, they also saw a lady carrying her dog on her shoulders on their way to the beach...
From that point they were several sand dunes away from this...
Oh, that's not a big birdie in the sky, it's the Coast Guard helicopter. They work hard keeping peeps safe kinda like I work hard helping Daddy with the laundry...
And Isabella helps Mommy with some computer stuffs...
We know both of them are very thankful for our help.

How was your weekend?

Happy Monday to you!

Weekend Wrap Up

Our weekend ended better than it started. It's cold but sunny outside and Daddy's on the tail end of his cold too...
Get it? Tail end? MOL! I crack myself up! Anyway, even though Daddy is still sniffling, he and Mommy went to the coast yesterday because it was 10 degrees warmer, sunny, and well, looked like this...
Once again they didn't bring us back any birdies...
Not even one feather! Oh well, Mommy came back happy and after last week, that makes us all happy!

How was your weekend?

Happy Monday!

Sunday Scenes

We're taking it easy today so thought you might enjoy some scenes from our neck of the woods. Mommy and Daddy went Nye Beach in Newport (without us) and saw the Yaquina Head Lighthouse...
A dog playing on the beach...
Then they went to the Newport Bayfront...
and saw lots of fishing boats...
and some silly sea lions...
and a dog waiting for his beans (the backseat windows were down and it was very, very cool there)...
After one more trip to the beach....
They finally came home to us! Hope you enjoyed seeing some of the scenes from here in Oregon!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Weekend Getaway in Oregon

Summers in Oregon are beautiful and I'd thought I would share some pictures I took last weekend of some Oregon coast destinations.

The beach in Manzanita was the perfect place for kite surfers, horseback riders and many others simply enjoying the cool, crisp air off the Pacific ocean.

Oregon is home to many lighthouses and last Sunday we visited Yaquina Head lighthouse in Newport, OR. Yaquina Head is the tallest lighthouse in Oregon and is the 2nd oldest in the state and is still in operation today. Visitors are allowed to go inside the lighthouse and the view from inside is breathtaking. While there we saw two bald eagles circling around but unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them.

Yaquina Head Lighthouse is well worth a visit if you ever find yourself on Highway 101 in Newport, OR!
