Thursday Treat #ChewyInfluencer

Today is a day filled with treats. First, we've had a couple of days off of taxes because Mommy has been in Portland with friends. Secondly, I get to review some Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredients Diets Chewy Bits Duck Formula Grain Free Dog Treats for the nice folks at Chewy.com. And finally, you get to see my cute face...
Well, that is until I perform the all important smell test where I put my snooter in the bag...
These soft, chewy treats have real duck as the #1 ingredient and two primary sources of carbohydrates so they're good for dogs on a limited ingredient diet. They are 100% free of fillers, grains, potatoes and chicken for dogs with food sensitivities and contain no artificial colors or flavors. Natural Balance L.I.D. Duck Formula Dog Treats are perfect for dogs from puppies to adults. After all that, all I know is that not only do they smell good, they look good too...
Let's go for the final test, the taste test...
The verdict is, they're very tasty so I give them four paws up! Mommy puts them inside some treat-holding toys to keep me busy so I can enjoy them longer. I've asked her to order more from Chewy.com in the future! If you're in need of treats, food, toys, anything pet related, be sure to check out Chewy.com. You won't be disappointed!
Disclaimer: Chewy.com sent me a bag of Natural Balance L.I.D. Duck Formula Dog Treats free in exchange for my honest review. This did not influence my opinion at all because when I don't like something, I won't eat it no matter what. It's my puppy prerogative.

What's your favorite treat?

Hope you enjoyed seeing me!

Weekend Harvest

Grandma from Vegas got me some kitty grass when she was here but Mommy had to grow it. I didn't get it until this weekend when it was really, really tall...
It smelled good though...
It would've been a whole lot easier to eat if it wasn't so tall and skinny...
Oh well, despite it being lanky cat grass I'm enjoying it very much...
By the way, I have one less hairball now too. Just sayin.

Do you enjoy cat grass?

Hope you had a great weekend!

Tortie Taste Test

When I woke up from my nap, Mommy asked me if I wanted to taste test Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon Grain Free treats from Chewy.com. Are you kidding? I sure do!
These treats are made in the USA with real chicken and salmon - no by-product meals, no corn, wheat or soy and no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. They smell good too!
The Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon treats are also soft and in a fairly small size which works for me since I don't chew my foods...
My verdict is these treats are lip smacking good!
In case you're wondering, my little sisfur Angel gave the Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon treats four paws up too...
We both still liked them after a week which is the real test since we've been known to like something one day but turn our nose up at it the next. That's our prerogative - we're cats.

Thank you Chewy.com for giving us the opportunity to review these yummy treats! If you haven't ordered from Chewy.com yet, we hope you check them out when you need foods, treats, litter or toys delivered right to your door! They even have auto delivery and free delivery on all orders over $49!

Do you like Blue Wilderness treats?

We hope you have a treat filled day!
Isabella

Disclaimer: Chewy.com sent us one package of Blue Wilderness Chicken and Salmon Grain Free treats for free. We received no other compensation. This did not influence our opinion since we only like what we like and we liked these!

Taste Test - Somekitty Has To Do It!

We were recently asked by the nice folks at Chewy.com if we'd like to try some new Nature's Variety canned foods called "Pride by Instinct" and of course we said Yes!  We received two flavors to try out - Champ's Chicken and Sherlock's Salmon...
We tend to get finicky and like variety when it comes to canned food and Mommy wants us to have grain free, healthy stuffs made in the USA so we all hoped the "Pride" would be a hit.  Since I was the one awake am the most picky, I got to taste first...
I licked the bowl clean!
I thought both flavors were lip smackin' good...
Isabella tried them after her 8 hour nap beauty rest and she loved both of them too.  We each give them four paws up!

Thanks to the folks at Chewy.com for letting us sample these yummy foods!  Be sure to check out Nature's Variety "Pride by Instinct" foods to see if it passes your taste test and if you haven't done so already, be sure to check out Chewy.com for all kinds of foods, treats, toys, anything you need delivered in the best boxes ever!

Disclaimer:  Chewy.com sent us the canned food for us to try but our opinions are all our own.

Chewy.com is offering a giveaway too so be sure to check it out too!

Yummy Treats!

Mommy got home last night from Disneyland (Woo!) but to give her a day to relax I'm going to help her today with the EtsyBloggers blog carnival. Erika from Nico Designs chose the topics which includes giving my favorite holiday recipe.

Each year Mommy makes these yummy dog biscuits that she gives to the neighbor dogs for Christmas and of course I get some too!
Here's the Recipe for what I'll call Sadie's Cookies:

Mix together in large bowl and let stand 10 minutes:

1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup margarine
1 to 2 tsp. instant bouillon
1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheese
1 cup boiling water

Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well:

3/4 cup cornmeal
1/3 cup milk
1 Tbsp sugar
1 egg, beaten

Add 2 cups whole wheat flour , 1 cup at a time, to form a stiff dough. Knead dough on floured surface 3 to 4 minutes, working in a little more flour (1/4 to 1/2 cup). Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut with bone-shaped cookie cutter. Place 1 inch (or less) apart on greased cookie sheet (or line cookie sheet with aluminum). Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Makes about 8 dozen small biscuits.
I can't wait until Mommy makes these dog biscuits again and maybe I can get her to make them more times in the year.
Hope you have a great day!

Our Favorite Topic - FOOD!

We were given the opportunity to try out Addiction pet foods and we accepted the responsibility with gusto! Mommy wants us to eat healthy and lose some weight. We just want to eat and we're just fine with our weight. Anyway, we all got new foods to try and so Mommy will give are our results.
Sadie usually eats dry food so she tried the Viva La Venison dry food as well as the King Salmon & Potatoes canned food and also the Steakhouse Beef & Zucchini Entree which is Raw Dehydrated Food. She liked but wasn't enthusiastic about the Venison dry food. We mixed it with her current food and she sniffed it but was content to leave it sit for awhile - i.e. until the cats came around and then she ate it. That was not the case with the canned food, she really liked it! But the dehydrated food was her favorite! The sample bag only had about a cup of the dehydrated food so at first I mixed about half that with 1/2 cup of water and gave that to her. She wouldn't stop licking the bowl once it was gone so I went ahead and gave her the rest. Of course she wanted more. According to the bag a serving for a dog her size is 4 cups so I don't know if that much would satisfy her since she was certainly not satisfied with only 1 cup!
Angel & Isabella also tried the Viva La Venison dry food and the King Salmon & Potatoes canned food and also the Unagi & Seaweed canned food. They normally eat dry food with canned food given as an occasional treat. They did like both varieties of canned food, however, since I only gave them half a can at once they didn't eat the King Salmon & Potatoes after it had been refrigerated. They liked the Unagi & Seaweed both fresh out of the can and also from the fridge the next day. They liked the dry food right from the start and seem to get full quicker so hopefully they won't eat as much!
If healthy foods taste as good as Addiction foods, we think it's okay to switch. But we will not give up our junk food Temptations!

Hope you enjoyed our review of Addiction foods as much as we enjoyed eating it!

Mmm Mmm Good

Daddy left today to meet Mommy for a vacation but Grandpa is here from Kansas to take care of us.
Grandpa, I don't know if Daddy told you or not but this is our food drawer and we get fed A LOT!
We of course want Mommy and Daddy to come home soon but not until the treats, I mean foods, run out! We love our Grandpa!
