Two for Tuesday #ChewyInfluencer

It's time for our monthly review for the fabulous folks at Chewy.com. We were asked our opinion of Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares Variety Pack Grain Free Canned Cat Food. That name is a mouthful! Let's see how it tastes...
It's hard to concentrate because I feel like I'm being watched...
Maybe if I ignore her she'll go away...
Uh, guess not...
Okay, back to business. Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Grain Free Canned Cat Food is like people food for pets because it's made with the best ingredients that are high in protein and low in carbs. There's no grains, gluten, GMO ingredients, potatoes, MSG or carrageenan. It's real, deboned meat in yummy gravy...
Mommy was concerned about Isabella being able to eat it because she has no teeth but the meat is small and soft enough that she can enjoy it too...
So, our review is mixed. Out of the four varieties, our favorite is Goldie Lox Chicken & Salmon Au Jus, We also like Funk in the Trunk Chicken in Pumpkin Consomme and Chicken Frick 'A Zee Chicken Recipe Au Jus. Neither one of us like Double Dip Chicken & Beef Recipe Au Jus. It's just, uh, icky. Three out of four ain't bad I guess!

Much thanks to Chewy.com for letting us review this food! It's something we probably wouldn't have tried but now will certainly buy in the future. Chewy.com has many choices so if you haven't checked them out yet, be sure to do so! They have incredible customer service and quick delivery that's free for orders over $49!
Disclaimer: Chewy.com sent us a case of Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares Variety Pack for free in exchange for our honest review. As you can tell this didn't influence our opinion since we didn't like one of the flavors and we're not gonna lie about it either.

Have you tried anything new from Chewy.com lately?

We hope you enjoy something tasty today!

Work Before Play #ChewyInfluencer

Before I start my weekend, I wanted to do a review for the wonderful folks at Chewy.com! I'm getting good at these so when I was offered a chance to review Taste of the Wild High Prairie Grain Free Canned Dog Food, I of course said yes!
My first observation is that thumbs are needed to open the can...
Because even sharp puppy teeth don't work...
Thankfully Mommy opened the can for me so I could try it out...
My opinion of it is that it's yummy and I like it! Mommy likes it because Taste of the Wild High Prairie Canned Dog Food is made in the USA with beef as the first ingredient along with other protein like bison, roasted lamb and and ocean fish. It has no grain, corn, wheat, filler, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. It it nutrient rich and highly digestible too.

Mommy puts this food in my Kong and then freezes it for when I'm left in my kennel. I love it that way! I give Taste of the Wild High Prairie Grain Free Canned Dog Food four paws up! I was given a case of this food for free in exchange for my honest review. This did not influence my opinion in any way because I'm too cute to have to eat something I don't want to!
If you need any food, treats, toys, anything, be sure to check out Chewy.com! They have a great selection, awesome customer service and quick delivery that is free on orders over $49!

I'm now ready for the weekend and hope you are too! Enjoy!

Reading is a Very Good Thing...

There are many reasons I learned to read such as reading your blogs or my friend Sparkle's book but another reason is to help Mommy read the paper in the mornings.  Good thing I did or else I wouldn't have known there's such a thing as Endless Prawns!
Can you imagine Endless Prawns?  That's like a squizillion of these...
It's a kitty's dream!

Wish you could join me for dinner today!

Nightmare on Our Street

NOOOOOOOOOOO!
What the ham are you yelling for Isabella?  You nearly scared the pantaloons off me!
Oh my Cod, I just had the worst nightmare.  I dreamt that we ran out of foods!  That would never, ever happen would it Mommy?
To be safe, maybe we should set up automatic delivery or something.  Just sayin.

Hope you have sweet dreams today!

Tortie Tuesday

There's been some changes around here that I'm not too pleased about. It all began last December when our pet sitter let Sadie eat OUR foods which were in our walk in closet. Ever since then Sadie kept sneaking in from time to time to eat OUR foods so Mommy came up with the bright idea of putting our foods on her desk. Now, when I get up there to eat one, two or three times an hour...
I hear "are you back AGAIN?" or "are you SURE you're hungry AGAIN?"...
At least she can't see my reaction from behind her monitor...
And she won't say anything to my face.
Go ahead, I dare ya!
I don't like this arrangement at all but I guess it's better than having our sisfur Sadie eat our foods. Let's just say I'm really glad there's only three more weeks of tax season so Mommy will be at her desk 26 hours less per week so I can eat in peace!

Hope you have a hassle free and Happy Tortie Tuesday!

Special Delivery - FOODS!

We were very excited to have been asked by MrChewy.com if we'd like a $50 gift certificate to try out their services. We had heard of MrChewy.com but weren't sure about ordering foods online so this was a great opportunity to try it out. We placed an order on Sunday, January 29th and it arrived on Tuesday, February 7th so we were famished by the time it arrived...
Hey Mommy! Hurry up and open this box! Sadie will eat anything but we're pretty picky so we ordered foods we've never had before and so far we like what we got! Sadie got treats... MrChewy.com has lots of foods, treats and stuff to choose from with free delivery on orders over $49. He also has subscription based ordering so your favorite items can arrive as scheduled...
They also send really cool, crinkly paper in the big box too...
We were a little disappointed on how long it took to receive our delivery after placing an order but MrChewy's website is very easy to use, they have a really good selection and with some pre-planning so we don't run out of foods, it is very convenient to have foods, treats and even our kitty litter arrive at our front door.

Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to go eat now...

Hope you get a treat today!

Sunday Dinner, a Review and a Nap...

I'm just going to extend Sadieday by taking over today too! I wanted to show you my spiffy new food bowl thingy I got. It's called a Neater Feeder! Here's a photo of it next to my old food bowl thingy which I'm demonstrating how I used to drink water...
Hey Bella, just mosey on by will ya? I'm busy here...
Okay, where was I? Oh yes, now I'll demonstrate my new Neater Feeder bowl...
Now, I'm not a messy eater at all so the Neater part of the Feeder for me means no more water left standing underneath my bowl holders because when Mommy fills them up, she often spills the water. Now, see those little holes in front, the water goes underneath everything and doesn't even touch the bottom of my bowls! Plus the taller sides keep any stray foods contained and keeps kitty sisfurs out too! Ha roo!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to finish my Sunday dinner in my Neater Feeder and follow it up with a nap!

Hope you a neat, nap-filled Sunday too!
Sadie

PeeS: They do make kitty sized Neater Feeders as well as ones for shorter dogs than me. Mine came with extenders since I'm so tall. I was leary of the sides at first but now I don't even notice them. Mommy still wonders that that big ol' thing is when she sees it out of the corner of her eye but she'll get used to it. She does like the neutral color.

Disclaimer: We received the Neater Feeder free of charge but that did not influence our opinions expressed in this post.

Make A Difference!

We're down to the wire but we wanted to be sure to do a post to help feed shelter dogs because we love shelter dogs and we really love dog food!
For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE® Adoption Drive through today, September 19th, PEDIGREE® will donate a bag of their new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide. It’s simple: Write a post, help a dog. Your blog doesn't even have to be a pet blog to participate!
Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.

This year the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive is raising awareness for homeless dogs by donating a bowl of food to shelter dogs for everyone who becomes a “Fan” or “Likes” The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive on Facebook. So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated.
If you have a few extra minutes today, write a post and help feed shelter dogs! It's easy to make a big difference and you'll be glad you did - and so will the dogs!

Our Favorite Topic - FOOD!

We were given the opportunity to try out Addiction pet foods and we accepted the responsibility with gusto! Mommy wants us to eat healthy and lose some weight. We just want to eat and we're just fine with our weight. Anyway, we all got new foods to try and so Mommy will give are our results.
Sadie usually eats dry food so she tried the Viva La Venison dry food as well as the King Salmon & Potatoes canned food and also the Steakhouse Beef & Zucchini Entree which is Raw Dehydrated Food. She liked but wasn't enthusiastic about the Venison dry food. We mixed it with her current food and she sniffed it but was content to leave it sit for awhile - i.e. until the cats came around and then she ate it. That was not the case with the canned food, she really liked it! But the dehydrated food was her favorite! The sample bag only had about a cup of the dehydrated food so at first I mixed about half that with 1/2 cup of water and gave that to her. She wouldn't stop licking the bowl once it was gone so I went ahead and gave her the rest. Of course she wanted more. According to the bag a serving for a dog her size is 4 cups so I don't know if that much would satisfy her since she was certainly not satisfied with only 1 cup!
Angel & Isabella also tried the Viva La Venison dry food and the King Salmon & Potatoes canned food and also the Unagi & Seaweed canned food. They normally eat dry food with canned food given as an occasional treat. They did like both varieties of canned food, however, since I only gave them half a can at once they didn't eat the King Salmon & Potatoes after it had been refrigerated. They liked the Unagi & Seaweed both fresh out of the can and also from the fridge the next day. They liked the dry food right from the start and seem to get full quicker so hopefully they won't eat as much!
If healthy foods taste as good as Addiction foods, we think it's okay to switch. But we will not give up our junk food Temptations!

Hope you enjoyed our review of Addiction foods as much as we enjoyed eating it!
