We're Back!

We're back from our blogcation! We missed everyone! We had a really good time with our Grandpa from Kansas while our Mommy and Daddy went to California to visit the mouse with red shorts...
They went there to celebrate Daddy's birthday last Monday, the 60th anniversary of Disneyland and of course the holidays. Mommy said it was more magical than ever...
In addition to all the celebrations, what really made it special for Mommy was she finally saw one of the 200 feral kitties of Disneyland! This beautiful Tortie was near the Grizzly River Run in California Adventure...
She turned out to be not quite so feral since Mommy got to scritch her...
Whatever. We got scritched a lot right here from our Grandpa from Kansas! Isabella also loved snuggling with him...
And I loved playing curtain monster with him. I was between the window and the curtain and the monster would 'get' me...
It appears we all had a great week and we hope you did too! We're getting back to normal around here but hope to catch up as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience!

Did anything exciting happen to you last week?

Enjoy your Monday!

Weekend Wrap Up

We know we've been gone for more than a weekend but at least we're finally back! Our Grandpa from Kansas is on his way back to, well, Kansas and Mommy and Daddy are home from her happy place - the coast...
Is it a coincidence that her happy place has something that makes us happy too - birdies?
It's okay that we didn't go over there though since we enjoyed Grandpa's visit and especially his scritches! He's such a good scritcher he's practically a purrfessional! Now we're all trying to get back to normal, whatever that is. Speaking of normal, this may have happened...
After a week of not turning on a computer, we're hoping that this normal thing happens quickly so we can catch up with all our friends! We've missed you!

We hope you had a wonderful week and that this week is off to a great start too!

Finally Friday!

This was quite a week!  We enjoyed having our Grandpa from Kansas visiting us!  He gives us treats and scritches!  Mommy and Daddy also enjoyed visiting our Grandma and Aunt Dolly from Vegas...
That's the best photo Mommy got of her because she doesn't sit still long enough!  This was her during a short pit stop on the woofie race track around and around the yard...
When she did sit still for longer than 1.3 seconds, it was on our Daddy...
We're pretty sure that if we ever do get a new woofie, it will not be one that weighs less than we do and doesn't have an off switch!  It's going to be very hard for any woofie to fit into our lives like our sisfur Sadie did...
Anyway, we're glad Mommy and Daddy are home although we miss our Grandpa from Kansas.  We're going to be relaxing today, what are your plans?

Happy Friday!

Sending Birthday Wishes to Kansas

Today is a special day because it's our Grandpa from Kansas's birthday!  We hope he enjoys his day as much as we always enjoy when he visits us...
And gives us chin scritches...
And leg massages...
If he enjoys it that much, he'll have the bestest birthday ever!

Happy Birthday Grandpa from Kansas!
Lots of love from all of us!

Finally Friday

Whew, it's Friday!  Okay, truth be told, we don't really care what day it is since they're all the same to us but Mommy and Daddy are glad it's Friday so we'll be glad too!  We're also glad that the cooler temps have made our Birdie Network an action channel...
Once the leaves fall off the tree our reception is going to be pawesome too!
One thing we're not glad about is our Grandpa from KS is leaving today.  He did an excellent job of taking care of us and making sure we had plenty of scritches and lots of foods.  We hope he comes back soon but until he does, rumor has it that our Grandma from Las Vegas will be here next month so we'll soak up scritches from her too!

Since it's Friday, we thought we'd show at least one feature from our shop.  We worked on these awhile ago and think we did a pretty good job...
Just because we (aka Mommy) is still behind around here, we're going to take the weekend off and will be back on Monday.  Hopefully she has her booty in gear by then!

We hope everybody has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Snowy Sadieday Stroll

Yay, it's Sadieday! Our weather started out great this week with snow and then the rain came and turned it into slush. This is perfect walking weather so before he left, I got my Grandpa from Kansas to take me on a stroll. So grab your boots and raincoat (no umbrellas since they're for tourists) and come along with us...
This weather is fabulous! Snow, slush AND water puddles? Whoa doggy!
A field full of snow too? What can be better?
Snowballs! That's the icing on my snow cake!
I wonder if Grandpa had as much fun as I did?
Since he doesn't have my warm fur, I better get him home to thaw out his paws...
I hope you had fun coming along on our snowy stroll today too!
Our snow is all gone because we're getting lots and lots of rain and many parts of our area are flooding but we're up high so are safe from high water. The humane society is taking in animals displaced from the floods and several places are boarding horses who had to leave flooded fields. We're crossing paws for efurrybody affected by these horrible winter storms.

We're also crossing paws for our friend Abby and her dad Gerard to get better after a horrible attack on them by two dogs. We're praying they both get well very soon!

I hope everyone has a Happy Sadieday!

Happy Sadieday!

Yay it's Sadieday! It's an extra special Sadieday too because our Grandpa from Kansas will be here to spoil see us! It took him two months to get here in his RV because he made a little detour through Canada and Alaska but he's finally in Oregon! Anyway, before he gets here, I get to choose the winners of our Innova free bag of food coupon giveaway so I'm ready...
I had Mommy put the names of everybuddy on a piece of paper for me...
Then I picked the first winner...
I got so excited I almost ate the piece of paper and Mommy had to wrangle it out of my mouth so it's a little chewed on but the first winner is... Wally, Ernie and Zoe - the Island Cats! I controlled myself a little more when choosing the second winner... Mommy opened the piece of paper I picked (say that fast five times!) and it said...
Marg and all her critters! Okay, it didn't exactly say "and all her critters" on the paper but you know what I meant. Anyway, congratulations to both the winners. My mommy will be getting your address from you and get your coupons in the mail. Now, I think I should get a treat or two for my hard work...
By the way, don't I look cute in my pink polka dotted bandana? It's from my furiend Duke and we got other stuffs from Duke and his mom that we'll be telling you about soon but right now I need to get ready to see Grandpa!

Hope you have a Happy Sadieday!

Happy Father's Day!

We're wishing all the daddys of kids with and without furs a very Happy Father's Day!

We also want to let our daddy know how much we love him! He always plays with us and makes sure we have a box or two to lay in.
He makes sure our big sisfur Sadie is always happy and gets to do things she enjoys like going to the beach.
And since I'm Daddy's Girl, there's no place I'd rather be than with my daddy!
Happy Father's Day Daddy! We love you!
Isabella, Angel and Sadie

Happy Father's Day to our Grandpa in Kansas too! Thank you for always taking such good care of us too when Mommy and Daddy are gone!

Happy Father's Day Dad!
Love, Sharla and J

Sunday Scenes

Since Spring has sprung and work has eased up, it's been fun getting out and about and enjoy the beautiful sights here in Oregon. Last weekend we hiked the trails around McDowell Creek Falls so thought we'd take you along too! The first stop is a teaser of the falls to come...
Because the next stop is the Royal Terrace Falls which are 119 ft high...
And of course McDowell Creek...
And then Majestic Falls at 39 ft high...
We even saw a tourist from Kansas so we took a picture of him taking a picture!
Actually the tourist is my dad - he was here petsitting Angel, Isabella and Sadie while we were in Colorado for a few days (thanks Dad!) and he took the time to enjoy our beautiful state!

Hope you enjoyed this brief glimpse of some of the Spring sights here in Oregon!
Have a great Sunday!

PeeEss: Thanks for staying with us Grandpa! We miss you!
Sadie, Isabella and Angel!
