We're Back!

We hope everyone had a great week! We've had fun with our Grandpa from Kansas and our Mommy and Daddy had fun in her happy place, Disneyland...
And California Adventure...
They had fun riding the rides, seeing the shows and watching the parades...
The reindeer in the holiday parade always makes Mommy giggle. She's weird. Anyway, they got home Friday and on Saturday everyone except us went to Heceta Head B&B for the Victorian Christmas...
It's all lit up for the holidays and it's open for people to come inside to see Santa and sing Christmas carols. They had a good time. It's Mommy's second happy place...
Our Grandpa from Kansas will be going home tomorrow so we'll enjoy him while we can...
He gives awesome scritches and takes excellent care of us! We're going to miss him but we're glad Mommy and Daddy are home. We'll be catching up with our blog friends soon too!

How was your week?

Hope you enjoy your Monday!

Finally!

It's finally Friday and Mommy and Daddy are finally home from Alaska! They got home Wednesday and I was so glad that I woke her up all night long to make sure she was really here! Of course we were spoilt taken care of in the manner we deserved by our Grandpa from Kansas. Every day I'd get up on the bathroom counter and wait for his glorious scritches.
Bring it on Grandpa...
Then I bask in the mussed up fur post scritch glow...
Oh yeah. It was nice. It's nice having Mommy and Daddy home too.

Hope you have a scritch filled day!

We're Back!

We're back from our blogcation! We missed everyone! We had a really good time with our Grandpa from Kansas while our Mommy and Daddy went to California to visit the mouse with red shorts...
They went there to celebrate Daddy's birthday last Monday, the 60th anniversary of Disneyland and of course the holidays. Mommy said it was more magical than ever...
In addition to all the celebrations, what really made it special for Mommy was she finally saw one of the 200 feral kitties of Disneyland! This beautiful Tortie was near the Grizzly River Run in California Adventure...
She turned out to be not quite so feral since Mommy got to scritch her...
Whatever. We got scritched a lot right here from our Grandpa from Kansas! Isabella also loved snuggling with him...
And I loved playing curtain monster with him. I was between the window and the curtain and the monster would 'get' me...
It appears we all had a great week and we hope you did too! We're getting back to normal around here but hope to catch up as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience!

Did anything exciting happen to you last week?

Enjoy your Monday!

Weekend Wrap Up

We know we've been gone for more than a weekend but at least we're finally back! Our Grandpa from Kansas is on his way back to, well, Kansas and Mommy and Daddy are home from her happy place - the coast...
Is it a coincidence that her happy place has something that makes us happy too - birdies?
It's okay that we didn't go over there though since we enjoyed Grandpa's visit and especially his scritches! He's such a good scritcher he's practically a purrfessional! Now we're all trying to get back to normal, whatever that is. Speaking of normal, this may have happened...
After a week of not turning on a computer, we're hoping that this normal thing happens quickly so we can catch up with all our friends! We've missed you!

We hope you had a wonderful week and that this week is off to a great start too!

Alaskan Woofies on Wednesday

After a really long trip home involving a delayed flight from Fairbanks causing them to miss their connection in Seattle and spending the night in Sea-Tac airport, Mommy and Daddy are finally home and thankfully, without a puppy!  But, as we were looking through their pictures we found out even though they were on a cruise, they were around a lot of woofies up there in Alaska!  The first one was a bulldog who appeared in their room the first night...
But then they met sled dogs that reminded them of our sisfur Sadie in Skagway.  They are at the Gold Rush Dog Sled Tours and have ran the Iditarod with Matt Hayashida...
This puppy may run the Iditarod one day too...
In Denali they met even more puppies at 4 time Iditarod champion Jeff King's Husky Homestead...
Including little Louisa...
Even we admit they're kinda cute like this little two week old yet unnamed baby...
Clipper really reminded them of our sisfur Sadie...
Especially when she did this...
Anyway, we hope they got their fill of woofies since we're not ready for another woofie in our house just yet. Maybe one day we'll change our mind but not yet.

We're getting back to normal around here and we're sure helping them get caught up on all the sleep they lost thanks to 24 hours of sunlight in Alaska then a sleepless night in Seattle.  We'll do our best to get caught up with everyone soon though!

Enjoy your day!
