Happy Sadieday!

Yay it's Sadieday! I just love Sadieday but actually Thursday came close to being the bestest day of this week because of what I saw when I looked out the window...
SNOW! Most of the country is having record breaking heat but we got 7 inches (18 cm) of glorious snow! Snow is very unusual in our neck of the woods so Mother Nature is being very good to me this year... Because a husky can't have too many snowballs... But a husky's mom can have frozen fingers so I guess it's time to go in...
Before we go in though I just have to have a little more snow...
I wish it could last forever!

It's Sadieday!

Yay it's Sadieday! What better way to start the day than to run outside and find this...
This is the bestest surprise ever!
It feels so good between my toes...
And it's fun to catch snowballs too...
I just love the snow! I'm so happy! I know this isn't a video but you can see my tail wagging - first look here...

Did you see it wag? Well, Mommy is freezing out here but before we go in, let's have fun one more time. I'm ready... Got it! I know the snow won't last so I'll enjoy it while I can. I wish lots of snow for all my woofie furiends and all of us are wishing that everybuddy in the path of the recent storms in the midwest and eastern U.S. are safe.

Snowy Sadieday Stroll

Yay, it's Sadieday! Our weather started out great this week with snow and then the rain came and turned it into slush. This is perfect walking weather so before he left, I got my Grandpa from Kansas to take me on a stroll. So grab your boots and raincoat (no umbrellas since they're for tourists) and come along with us...
This weather is fabulous! Snow, slush AND water puddles? Whoa doggy!
A field full of snow too? What can be better?
Snowballs! That's the icing on my snow cake!
I wonder if Grandpa had as much fun as I did?
Since he doesn't have my warm fur, I better get him home to thaw out his paws...
I hope you had fun coming along on our snowy stroll today too!
Our snow is all gone because we're getting lots and lots of rain and many parts of our area are flooding but we're up high so are safe from high water. The humane society is taking in animals displaced from the floods and several places are boarding horses who had to leave flooded fields. We're crossing paws for efurrybody affected by these horrible winter storms.

We're also crossing paws for our friend Abby and her dad Gerard to get better after a horrible attack on them by two dogs. We're praying they both get well very soon!

Gone to the Dogs...

We're very happy that Mommy and Daddy came home yesterday although we have Grandpa wrapped around our paws and got LOTS of treats! We discovered that on their trip, Mommy cheated on us with other dogs...
You'd think she could resist a handsome boy in uniform...
And a shaggy but dapper dude in shoes...
What in the world are we going to do with her...
Yeah, no. That's obviously not going to work. At least she came home to us!
She also came home to SNOW!
Okay, maybe she wasn't as excited to see the snow as I am but my woofie friends will understand!

Snowy Sadieday!

I was already excited that it's Sadieday but can you imagine my excitement when I looked outside and saw that it's a snowy Sadieday!

It's too snowy for a stroll today since Mommy doesn't have 4-paw drive...

But we can go out in the backyard and enjoy it! Isn't this fabulous?

Sharing on Sunday...

Yesterday I showed you how excited I was when it snowed here last week and how much fun I had when Mommy played snowballs with me. Well, before we went back inside, I thought of something really nice...

I even did a little circle in the snow to show my enthusiasm...

I decided to share my snow with my little sisfurs Angel & Isabella!

They don't seem to be as excited about it as I am. Angel, why are you batting at perfectly good snow?

Okay, it's official. Cats are just plain odd.

Oh well, that leaves that much more snow for me. Now toss those snowballs Mommy!

I can't wait until it snows again! Do you like the snow?
