Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you enjoyed the last weekend of January! We got abandoned on Saturday while Mommy and Daddy went to the International Cat Show in Portland to see Summer and her human Janiss. See how excited Summer was to see that crazy lady our mommy again?

Actually, Mommy said Summer was super sweet as always and let Mommy muss up her furs once or twice. She was sleeping most of the time despite the incredible amount of people who were at the show. Summer's half brother Chilly was right next to her and he got called up to compete while Mommy was there...

He's a blue Somali and was a sweetie too and gave mommy a little kiss and rubbed his nose on her's. She may have been smitten by Summer and Chilly and also surrounded by lots of other cats at the show but we're the ones she came home to and I made sure she didn't go anywhere else...

I even turned up the purrs so she was putty in my paws! We all ended up having a great weekend!

What Happens In Vegas...

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas thankfully or else Mommy would be bringing home a lot of kitties!  She and Daddy have been in Vegas the past few days visiting our Grandma but all three of them also visited the kitties of the Katnip Lounge and their mommy and daddy too!  They saw streaks of Scouty and CC and met all the others except The Baby.  KonaKitty hung out on the catio walkway.  She's super soft and gorgeous...

Mommy said that May Ling is beautiful in photos but in purrson she's even more so if that's possible.  She didn't get a very good picture of her because she petted her so much she forgot about photos...

Sweet Pea is beautiful too but Mommy didn't pet her.  Daddy did though!

Daddy was scritching Miss Salem too...

Now you see why we're glad that what happens in Vegas stays there?  Those Lounge kitties are hard to resist!  Their mommy and daddy are incredible too so Mommy, Daddy and Grandma enjoyed their visit very much!  

Mommy and Daddy are coming home today so depending on how long we make them cater to us, we may have to take tomorrow off.  We'll be back soon though!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend!  It was chilly and foggy here all weekend but despite that, Mommy let me have some fresh air whiffs while watching the Birdie Network...

The reason she let me is because she and Daddy went to coast where it was warm(er) and sunny and I found out she took pictures of strange dogs!

They may be cute but come on...

This one obviously thought she was off her rocker...

She even dared to take a photo of a fisherdog and his fishermen...

The least she coulda done was bring us some fish but noooo!  Oh well, she may cheat but she still comes home to us and more importantly she comes home without a dog!  Phew!

Caturday on Sadieday!

Our Mommy and Daddy are still not home but we're enjoying daily scritches, tummy rubs and extra foods from our Grandpa from KS!  Mommy said the internet where they are are is intermittent so we haven't seen many photos but we did see a few.  Of course there were the normal vacation photos like palm trees...

And even a turtle...

But we also found a fuzzy photo of Mommy giving scritches to the B&B kitty...

He comes to visit them every day and we're sure it's because of those scritches that hit the spot...

At least she'll be leaving soon to come home to us!  But until then we'll soak up the scritches from our Grandpa from KS!

Wordless Wednesday - Rule Breaking Hawaiian Style

This and That on Sadieday

Yay it's Sadieday!  We want to thank everyone for their suggestions last Sadieday on how to keep the introoder neighbor cats out of our yard.  Mommy is working on implementing some of the ideas especially since Dooney beat up the tuxie kitty in our yard again last Tuesday.  We all hate cat fights so we're going to do our best to keep it from happening at least in our yard.  We do hope Mommy doesn't bring home another dog because of it although she sure has been noticing dogs wherever she goes lately like these guys outside the grocery store...

And even up on the highest peak in the Oregon Coast range...

We hear there's many, many more that she's petted but not got photos of.  We're just not ready for another dog in the house and besides, they'd have some mighty big paws to fill...

PeeS:  Our thoughts and purrayers are with the people and animals affected by the horrible floods in Colorado.  They are happening near where Mommy and Daddy lived along the Front Range and where Sadie lived when she was a youngin.  We hope Mother Nature lets up on the rain soon.

What Goes On Beyond Our Closed Doors...

We're not allowed to go outside which makes us curious as to what goes on out there.  One day I decided I'd find out so I spied on Mommy by hiding in the blinds so she wouldn't see me...

I discovered that she cheats on us!  She was caught cheating with the neighbor introoder cat Dooney under OUR bushes...

And having a conversation with another introoder cat, his brother Bourke...

This is outrageous!  We're on to her now though and will make sure Dooney and Bourke stay on THAT side of our closed doors!

Happy Sadieday!

It's Sadieday!  It's also June already which means summer will be here soon!  You know, it's good to look forward to things but we mustn't forget to enjoy each and every day.  Mommy has been so busy lately we have to remind her of this from time to time.  She was going back and forth from the coast last week since Daddy was working there but she came home to us every night.  I also saw her sneaking around outside...

She was cheating on us with the neighbor dog, Baylor!

Oh well, it was us she came home to at night!  We just have to keep remembering to enjoy every moment and Mommy's trip to the coast reminded her how much our sisfur Sadie enjoyed being over there too.  She watched the dogs run on the beach and had happy tears thinking of how Sadie used to do the same thing...

Okay, yeah, she had sad tears too but she is working on turning the sadness into happiness since Sadie would want her to smile.  She'd also want all of you to smile and spread those smiles around today and every day!

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a nice weekend filled with sunpuddles and fishies...

But I should've known something was up when Mommy voluntarily let me watch fishies on her laptop.  She was trying to distract me while she went and cheated on us with the neighbor woofie!

His name is Baylor and he's 4 months old and he fell under Mommy's spell so fast it even surprised his mom and dad.  She played ball with him a lot and yes, his ears both point to right which some might think is cute...

Mommy thought he was pretty cute and was falling under his puppy spell but luckily he reminded her what puppies are really like when he began to dig to China ending up with his nose covered in mud...

Mommy was happy she could just visit and come home to us while his mom had to wash his feet and face before he could go back inside!  Phew!  That was close!

Gone to the Dogs...

We're very happy that Mommy and Daddy came home yesterday although we have Grandpa wrapped around our paws and got LOTS of treats! We discovered that on their trip, Mommy cheated on us with other dogs...
You'd think she could resist a handsome boy in uniform...

What in the world are we going to do with her...
Yeah, no. That's obviously not going to work. At least she came home to us!
She also came home to SNOW!
Okay, maybe she wasn't as excited to see the snow as I am but my woofie friends will understand!
