Yay, it's Sadieday! After having a mild summer with temperatures mainly in the 70s and low 80s (about 25-27 degrees for my international furiends), we finally got the hots here for the next week. It's going to be in the mid 90s (35 C) today and although I don't like the hots at all, we're going to go on a stroll early this morning before it heats up. So grab your water and let's get going!
We'll stay in the shade under these trees where it's cooler. 
I'll even go slow enough that Mommy can get ahead of me...
but not for long...

You'd think I'd learn not to call Mommy a slow poke since it means she has to go back on the leash so I can pull her faster.
It also means the end of our stroll today. I had fun while it lasted and hope you did too! Now we're going to go inside and stay cool while the temperature heats up. Hope you stay cool today too!

Hi Sadie! It's very considerate of you to walk a little slower and stay in the shade while it's so hot over at your place! I couple of weeks ago we experienced a heatwave too. Make sure to drink lots of water (goes for your Mommy too ;-)

Our summer has been warmer than usual. Early morning stroll before the heat sets in is a good idea. Best to get mommy inside before it gets too hot Sadie otherwise she would be even more of a slow poke :)
Always nice walking with you Sadie. Now that it is heating up I have a plan. You might be able to talk mommy into going to the ocean. It is always cooler there. Don't tell her I told you. I don't want to get into trouble.
Banjo and I will be staying in the house today ~ trying to stay cozy warm under a blanket. It has been cool and rainy here for days! :(

Thank goodness for those shady areas. Try to keep cool this next week with your hot weather. We finally seem to be getting a respite from ours. Maybe it moved to you!
Sadie, sorry to hear that it is getting hot out there where you live. That sure was a nice stroll and glad we went early before it got too hot. It was nice of you to let Mommy off the leash for a little while.

Hi Sadie! We enjoyed our walk with you this morning. It's cooler here now in Las Vegas, (in the 90's!) and the humidity is down, too. Mommy is whining about winter already. Anything cooler than 70 she gets all crabilated. Mommy needs to grow a fur coat like we have!

You have lots of nice areas to walk in, Sadie! Down here in Southern California, it has been cooler than normal too. Everyone else I know on the internet (unless they're in Australia or New Zealand) seem to be complaining about how hot it is.
I'm late to our Sadieday Stroll - it has actually been quite pleasant here for the last 2 days but the hot and muggy is coming back on Monday ::sigh::
Hi Sadie! We're very pleased to report the temperatures here have been in the high 70's today (very nice - although still very humid). We are sure your weather is coming our way though - it always does.
P.S. Our mom LOVES sushi but our dad has never tried it, so we are not sure if it is an acquired taste or not. If your humans ever go to a Japanese restaurant, we suggest that your humans order tempura (usually shrimp or other things deep-fried in batter - but not greasy) as a start - our mom says everyone she knows loves this.
We always enjoy going on your walk with you. Those Moms are so hard to train, aren't they?

We are heading back up to around 100 degrees next week. I will be glad when Fall makes its entrance.
