Strolling with Friends on Sadieday

Happy Sadieday!  It's been clear, crisp and cool in the mornings around here which was Sadie's favorite strolling weather. Well, except for mud puddle weather!  Let's enjoy a Sadieday stroll today with our adorable friend Duke!

Duke goes on strolls in Pawsylvania with his mom Ann.  He always makes sure to check his pee-mail...

Not only does Duke have an adorable face but he also has a cutie patootie...

He loves puddles just like our sisfur Sadie did!

It's no secret that we don't like Halloween around here but it'd be our favorite holiday if our tricks and treaters were as cute as this...

Last year we were lucky enough to win prizes from Duke including this magnet...

And our sisfur Sadie got a bandanna too...

Snuggle Buddies

Although it's been sunny this week we still know it's Fall which means it's snuggle time around here!  Mommy has captured some of our snuggles with her phone so we thought we'd show you a few aww moments...

We enjoy baths in sunpuddles...

And snuggling on Mommy's lap (very) early in the morning...

Of course we love snuggling in front of an open window...

Nothing better than having a furry snuggle buddy!

It's Tortie Tuesday!  Our goat friend Abby thinks that Tuesdays should be National AbbyGoat Day but of course I know it's Tortie Tuesday!  It would be great for today to be a recognized national holiday so my mommy would have the day off to dote on me instead of me having to headbutt her legs and waiting for her to pick me up...

Strolling with Friends on Sadieday

Happy Sadieday on this first day of Fall!  Sadie loved fall because the weather was cooler, the leaves crunched under her feets, and she knew rainy season was coming which meant puddles!  She also loved to stroll and so does our friend Abby!  Looks like Abby's ready to go so let's not keep her waiting!

Abby walks her dad all over their neighborhood every single day...

Sometimes her mom joins them on their strolls too...

Abby certainly knows how to find the joy in her strolls.  Can you tell she's happy!  

We think Abby is glad Fall is here since winter will soon follow meaning there'll be snow!

We hope you enjoyed the stroll with Abby and her mom and dad today!  We know our sisfur Sadie would have loved to stroll with Abby!  Sadie always found the joy in her strolls too and you could always tell she was happy!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  Today I'm reflecting on a recent visit to the v-e-t where I was told I'm healthy but that I may be a little bit too much Tortie.  Can you believe that?  How can there ever be too much of me?

I was told I need to be more "active".  Yeah, whatever.  I'm mellow - that's just the way I am!  Oh well.  All this talk of being active has made me sleepy...

I think the v-e-t was just jealous of my beautyness.  Whatever the case may be, it is important to be healthy and to be happy with your shape even if that shape is round!

Another Working Weekend

Last week I had to help Mommy find inspiration for some new jewelry designs, then I helped her play with pick out the beads to use.  You'd think after all that I'd get a chance to relax and enjoy the weekend but no, I had to help with quality control in the packaging department too.  All purchases from Mommy's shop are wrapped like a special gift so I have to get the ribbon ready...

Each package requires an arm's length of ribbon...

I'm not allowed to use scissors so I'll improvise...

Then the trick is to get it tied around the package...

I think I'll finish it after a little nap...

As you can see I work really hard around here.  Thanks to my help, the packages are on their way to special friends in Texas and Florida.  I don't know how Mommy would have got them ready without me!  It's a tough job but somekitty's gotta do it!

Strolling with Friends on Sadieday

It's Sadieday!  We have a special treat for you this Sadieday!  Our friend Pricilla is guest posting today about some strolling that goes on at the Happy Goat Farm in Montana!  We're sure you'll enjoy it so without further ado, here's Pricilla...

Hi everyone! It's Pricilla the goat! I wanted to show you how my studmuffin Luke goes on a stroll every night with (or without) the publicist. I am not too fond of doggies since I have been chased by several but I think I would have loved Sadie and would enjoyed a trip with her in her SUV.

This time of year Luke the goat tends to be a little frisky so the publicist needs to keep him on a lead when he is out of his pen. She lets him roam around a bit at night so he thinks he is the "big buck around town" if you know what I mean.

He can be a self walker if he is a good boy. But if he starts to go rogue the publicist can easily grab his leash and reign him in.

He trots up to the front of the Farm and starts working on "Farm maintenance" - otherwise known as eating weeds. We goats LOVE to eat weeds! And Luke does an especially good job, doesn't he?

When it is time for him to go into his pen in the barn the publicist gives him the news and he trots right into the barn - NOT!

She has to chase him a little.

Silly Luke!

He thinks he will win the battle.

But we does have all learned that THE PUBLICIST always wins.

And soon Luke knows that too and he is soon safe and sound in his pen eating his grain.

Luke maaaas, "Thanks for going on this stroll with me!"
