Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  If you are a fan of our Facebook page then you saw this photo of me with some new earrings Mommy made...

We post sneak peeks of new beady goodies on Facebook but what isn't shown is the quality control testing we do behind the scenes.  I was in charge of inspecting the owl earrings...

They passed the visual inspection but I gave them the Tortie taste test too...

Let's just say they didn't taste like chik-hen...

No beady goodies were harmed in the testing process and the Tortie was well compensated with treats!

Hope you have a great Tortie Tuesday!

PeeS:  BeadedTail goodies should be worn, not eaten.

Inspiration

I have been thinking lately about just how much I do around here for Mommy's BeadedTail shop.  As you saw yesterday, I do quality control on the packaging and that's not always easy.  That ribbon can get out of control but I tame it and sometimes even make it more beautiful!  There's times when it's so beautiful that Mommy can't bear to let it go so she'll snip it off and put it in a special saving container on the floor.

Anyway, I'm also the inspiration behind a lot of things in the shop for instance notice how I'm sitting...
See anything on this journal that looks familiar...
Of course that quote obviously was inspired by me.  Mommy says she's been saying it forever but I've only heard it since I've been here so that must mean it's because of me.  What would she do without me...
I do my job purrfectly!

Hope you have a purrfect day!

Another Working Weekend

Last week I had to help Mommy find inspiration for some new jewelry designs, then I helped her play with pick out the beads to use.  You'd think after all that I'd get a chance to relax and enjoy the weekend but no, I had to help with quality control in the packaging department too.  All purchases from Mommy's shop are wrapped like a special gift so I have to get the ribbon ready...
Each package requires an arm's length of ribbon...
I'm not allowed to use scissors so I'll improvise...
Then the trick is to get it tied around the package...
I think I'll finish it after a little nap...
As you can see I work really hard around here.  Thanks to my help, the packages are on their way to special friends in Texas and Florida.  I don't know how Mommy would have got them ready without me!  It's a tough job but somekitty's gotta do it!

Hope you have a great start to the week!
