Not So Wordless Wednesday

Are you ready for some football?
Football season is officially here!  My sisfur Sadie used to watch football with Daddy and she'd howl after touchdowns when he put his arms in the air.  Since I'm Daddy's Girl, I'll watch with him this year but I sure won't be howling!  Actually,  I just hope I can stay awake!

Traditions and memories can be bittersweet can't they?

We hope you have lovely memories of fall,
Isabella

No football here - neither of the humans care for any sports.

Abby cheers along with us too when we watch football, Manny usually lays on me and Spunky Doodle goes off and does her own thing.

I don't watch football games but I sure like the "where's the cat" game that Mommy and I invented. BOL!

You'll have to purr really loud when they score a touchdown :) I'm sure Sadie will be watching with you and cheering from above :)

Although it won't be the same without sweet Sadie, I'm sure Isabella will do her best to "cheer" along with Daddy!

Oh Isabella, that is so nice of you to keep Dad company for the football games. You could try to put your paws up for a touch down. No howling though. We know that Sadie is watching too. She will do the howling. Take care.

Yes darling Isabella, their can be bittersweet times. Last Christmas was one for our family. No Admiral to climb over thigs and help with papers. :-)

Watch football with Daddy and help him celebrate TD's. You'll be glad.

I know that your daddy will appreciate you filling Sadie's role this year, regardless of how much football you actually watch.

Even though Sadie won't be there to howl with your dad I bet she is still ready to watch some football with him. You are a good kitty to take over Sadies tradition of watching the games with your dad.

Isabella, maybe you should howl just a little bit. It would make your daddy happy. :)

Sadie will be right beside you I think!

Oh, darn. You have to go all through all those "firsts" before you can heal. It's hard, isn't it? Every thing you do just brings memories of Sadie. :(

I miss her too.

Yes, sweet little Isabella. Traditions and our memories - loving though they are - can indeed be bittersweet. We remember those things, people, places and furry friends we loved (and still love) so much with so much love, and yes, many times, with tears, too.

What a beautiful girl you are, Isabella, and what a beautiful girl your sisfur Sadie was, too. - June

Yes they can, Isabella. But you can start some new traditions. Good of you to carry on in your own way! I'm sure your daddy will appreciate it!
